I’ve got a Nanocom Evolution for diagnostics for Disco 2 V8 and TD5. What diagnostic treater do you recommend for later LR models (LR4/Discovery 4)?

I seen the front suspension too closed pver the fender. Many engine parts are missing too. No doubt it can be do parts replacements too.

If I’m looking at LR4s, would you recommend the V8 or the newer SC V6? Not doing any serious off-roading - but will look to tow, and want reliability and a bit of pep.
Dean Britton , the engines are basically the same except it’s a 6cyl.sc. They have the same timing setup as the 5.0. They also have the same Eaton supercharger. Also some have a secondary battery that, as of today, no one makes a replacement but Land Rover. I do like the newer trucks better but they all have their pros and cons. @SPENCE A man with lots of expensive Land Rover experience. Ans i am not the only one. for real hard work they invented the Land Cruiser worldwide.
@SPENCE Cool congrats. Its a common fact that Land/Range rovers are not famous for its reputations but there are exceptions. Second hand they are cheap compared to Toyotas. Says it all worldwide. In rough working condition we do not need computers or air suspensions. In cities you see them a lot, in the real world out there its Toyota that rules. Simple fact. Enjoy your 4x4.
@SPENCE me angry no way sir. Its just my experience with modern Landy's. Everybody should buy what they like, i need 4x4's for my job in the oil field. And over there its all Toyota. I am member of 3 4x4 clubs and often shocked how much people have to pay to keep certian Discovery's and Range rovers running. Changing turbo's you have to take the body off. Thats bad design. They are fantastic in ride quality due to air suspension. Sorry for my reaction then, not my purpose to insult or damage people.
