I have wanted to see these two do a video together for years and so happy to see it. It's crazy how similar they are and yet their personalities are so different.
Just bought myself a L322 in Australia. Came back to the UK last year for 4 months and bought one whilst home to drive. Drove it 12k miles in the 4 months up and down the country and without doubt the best car I've ever owned. So much so I've been looking for just the right one since I got back.
@@Spartansrule118 bought a 2006 td6 with low mileage only issue I had was that the rear left caliper jammed on due to poor maintenance from a previous owner so had to put on a new caliper and pads and discs on the rear. Other than that not any issues.
Hi Harry. Like yourself, I have owned many £100k + motor vehicles. Also, like yourself, I always come back to my trusty L322. It now has over 170,000 miles and additional to standard service costs (I have a full service history for this mileage) it has cost me a Turbo pipe (similar to yourself) and a rear wheel bearing. Basically, less than £500 additional to servicing and tyres etc. the most amazing thing, is I still get 38.8 to the gallon on a run and 31.5 town and motorway. the car is prestine and I can guarantee that at least once a week, someone stops me to inquire about something. there are not many cars being built today that would be able to boast this type of pedigree. A marvellous versatile reliable prestigeous vehicle.
Fantastic episode. Amazing to have both of you on screen together. Jeremy is such a class act in front of a camera - he knows exactly where it is and is so assured in front of it. And his timing is perfect. But having both of you together has been brilliant
Last year, L322, full factory stock (not armored), went over anti-tank mine in Ukraine. All 5 passengers survived. A very tought car right from beginning. Will definitely consider buying one in closest future. Got pictures of what is left from car after explosion.
Wonderful video, two of my favourite motor journalists - and as a sidenote, not being a farmer or suchlike, both of you have played a big part in educating a London boy to understand a bit about our country's farms and farming. Thank you to you both.
Haven’t watched Clarkson for sometime, he does have a wonderful term of phrase, humour entwined, lovely. A couple of old mates, mutual respect, having a yarn and I’m entertained. I’m getting on too it seems.
This video was really enjoyable. Just two men having a good old farmyard chat. I just loved how Jeremy kept meandering the conversation to talk about fertiliser, tractors and who's who on the farm. Having grown up on a farm and driving a farm Defender (before they were called Defenders) and now owning a Discovery 5, this video was totally relatable. I'd prefer the new Defender too for exactly the reasons that Jeremy mentioned and whilst I feel that the Discovery should revert to a proper split tailgate, I am finding the fold down inner 'gate' very, very useful for the reasons that Harrry said. It surprised me how damned useful it is.
I think Harry's Garage needs more of these type of chats with your mates. The familiarity you both have with each other makes for honest, informative and entertaining viewing. who next though?! Catchpole? Bovingdon? Big Chris Green?!
Rambling on? I could listen to the pair of you ramble on for hours. Never a dull moment. We now need you two to talk farming. In fact, if the pair of you did a farming podcast ‘Misadventures in Farming’ you’d likely be number 1😎
I just got one 2007 4.4L HSE Black on Christmas Eve last Sunday for 9,8000 Chinese Yuan / 10900 British Pounds because of this video!!! It's first hand from the previous owner and second hand to me with great condition.
I’ll say I think that vehicles from about 2002-2010 were peak. Good amount of tech but not over the top, about as reliable engine wise as you can make them, without all the bollocks sensors and engine monitoring crap that kills modern ones, and pretty clean looks.
This is the crossover that we needed. So much class in it, without displaying it. And on some level, it makes me hopeful on a curiously existential level, that in this day and age, we get from you Harry and Jeremy this kind of discussion. Anyway, should you do round 3, think about inviting @HighPeakAutos ...
Don’t often add comments to You Tube videos but I thought this was gold dust, I love Clarkson anyway, but the two of you simply chatting about cars was so interesting to listen to and there was obviously no script, you simply bounced off each others knowledge. More please!

@@bertyboy7126 Good for you. Mine's may be dirty as hell, but decades later still work flawlessly.
A farmer turned journalist, meets a journalist turned farmer. Excellent collaboration!
They were both journalists before farming.
Harry started in agriculture and ag sales.
I have a USA 2008 L322 with the Jaguar 4.4 Petrol V8 and I average 22 mpg on the highway. I also take it off road. I love it. It has 133,000 miles on it. I had to replace the front air suspension and put new solenoids in the transmission, but I love it.
How much did that cost?
It can't get better than this, Harry, Clarkson, and Range Rovers. Perfection indeed.
Maybe go for a few pints?
Would love to see Clarkson go to Harry’s garage and have a review of the cars with Harry. Would be great.
Yes!
Clarkson has no real passion for cars anymore, and I don't blame him. He has a much more interesting life
What a decent video, two chaps, talking about sensible stuff. Well done Harry. Keep up the good quality, always look forward to your next post.
Absolutely astonishingly decent video, I agree.
Harry l hope you appreciate how good that interview/chat was & it is the best thing l have seen Jeremy do for years . Just proper car talk from 2 blokes who know their stuff ,one of the most enjoyable things l have watched in years. Well done
The collab we never expected 🤣 this is excellent ! AND what a car to be reviewing after all those years as camera cars
I’m surprised it’s taken this long to be honest, they are friends, both farmers, and both car journalists. I’ve no idea how it’s taken so long.
I am a simple man. I see Clarkson and Harry, I click like before the video starts.
another banging video from Harry 👏🏿👏🏽👏🏾👏🏼👏🏻
oh hey there
Wth Official UA-cam?
Ayo UA-cam in the comments of Harry, Who would have thought 😂
Banging?? Jeremy? A goat?
Yes.
I have wanted to see these two do a video together for years and so happy to see it. It's crazy how similar they are and yet their personalities are so different.
The collab weve been waiting for
The bigger question is, "is this episode now peak Harry's Garage"?
Thanks for a great half hour. Most enjoyable.
Just bought myself a L322 in Australia. Came back to the UK last year for 4 months and bought one whilst home to drive. Drove it 12k miles in the 4 months up and down the country and without doubt the best car I've ever owned. So much so I've been looking for just the right one since I got back.
any issues in the 12K miles? what year did you get?
I can´t believe the crossover finally happened!
loved this colab. well worth a watch.
Jeremey has driven so so many cars yet a 16 year old car is his favorite.
says a lot about the new cars today
Last year, L322, full factory stock (not armored), went over anti-tank mine in Ukraine. All 5 passengers survived. A very tought car right from beginning. Will definitely consider buying one in closest future. Got pictures of what is left from car after explosion.
Surely well built, but it might have been a lighter sort of mine? Anti tank mines rip apart armoured personel carriers weighing 14,000 kilos....
@@williamdrijver4141 Info from soldiers who were in that LR
@@williamdrijver4141 and yes its all rip apart, just all survived
Wonderful video, two of my favourite motor journalists - and as a sidenote, not being a farmer or suchlike, both of you have played a big part in educating a London boy to understand a bit about our country's farms and farming. Thank you to you both.
London is dead. No more calling.
Haven’t watched Clarkson for sometime, he does have a wonderful term of phrase, humour entwined, lovely. A couple of old mates, mutual respect, having a yarn and I’m entertained. I’m getting on too it seems.
This was probably one of the most entertaining episodes of Harry's Garage in years. Your friend farmer is a knowledgeable man lol.
This video has come up on my phone several times now and I watch it again and again every time it pops up. Thanks guys.
Much respect
What a fantastic video, love seeing Clarkson's more real side, could watch videos like this for hours aha!
Never commented on this channel but listening to these 2 motoring legends is absolute gold!
What a fantastic bs- free video. Thanks Harry and Jezza....Great stuff! Team up more often for some high level auto babble. Loved it!!!😂
Brilliant. I have a L322 3.6, in the same green, done 138k miles now, over 100k with me. Had it rust proofed, a keeper. Best they've made.
Oh my. This is the best half an hour in car UA-cam history. More please!! What a treat.
This is precisely the content that I come for. Two gents shooting the breeze, gushing over their 16 year old Range Rovers.
two of my favorite British farmers, loved the conversation between you two
I think Harry's Garage needs more of these type of chats with your mates. The familiarity you both have with each other makes for honest, informative and entertaining viewing.
who next though?! Catchpole? Bovingdon? Big Chris Green?!
This is the crossover I didn’t know I needed. So happy to see Jezza on here.
Possibly one of your most enjoyable videos to date. Refreshing to hear from you both that new & expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.
I’ll say I think that vehicles from about 2002-2010 were peak. Good amount of tech but not over the top, about as reliable engine wise as you can make them, without all the bollocks sensors and engine monitoring crap that kills modern ones, and pretty clean looks.
I totally agree!
Or... Henry Catchpole, James May, Chris Harris, Jonny Smith or Richard Porter
Don’t often add comments to You Tube videos but I thought this was gold dust, I love Clarkson anyway, but the two of you simply chatting about cars was so interesting to listen to and there was obviously no script, you simply bounced off each others knowledge. More please!
Two icons in motoring history together in one video. How is this even possible? Enjoyed every too short minute of it.
I always thought these two were so incredibly alike.
One of the best tribute videos to the best car ever made. Enjoyed seeing a couple long term owners recount their stories. Funny how two big time motoring journalists end up with the same car! Thanks Harry and Jeremy
Thank you ever so much, Harry and Jeremy! I hope you two will consider getting together for a few farming videos sometime. Thank you also to Mrs. M. for filming! 👍👍
I could honestly watch these 2 chat about cars all day! they seem like genuine friends as well!
@harrysgarage your original L322 video is what helped grow my interest in the L322 and why I bought one last year. I appreciate you’re help and knowledge on the car!
We’ve had our L322 since new in 2012. It’s still splendid to drive.
It is very true. The L322 is the true definition of the RR original formula. Elegant in the city yet still a workhorse.
If you’re decently mechanically inclined, the LR3 and 2006-2009 Range Rovers are fantastic. They have the very stout 4.4 V8 and ZF transmission.
Isn't LR3 body off for a lot of jobs? Like the L320
Yeppp I have a 2009 RRS HSE and she’s great. Never left me stranded.
Yes this is peak RR! I have an 07 3.6 which I'll never sell because there's nothing that can replace it. 148K on the clock, Tonga green, clear glass, 19 inch wheels, dark cream interior, even the carpet. For all the reasons you say and a few more, it is loveable.
How reliable is the 3.6 im after a range rover for work
@@noelcahill6707 mine has been very good. It’s had nothing major from me in three years other than service fluids and a new battery. It is now ready for EGR valves and two really common spots of rust on o/s rear arch and boot lid. Will probably look into rust prevention/treatment underneath when these are addressed. It was affordable to buy, so doesn’t feel too bad when you spend a bit on them. it’s a big old car but it’s well understood. loads of specialists and spares everywhere.
Harry and Jeremy, my two favourite farmers. Great program.
I agree great farmers, Terrible writers, though.
To see these two together is great. Be even better if they did a tv series together
The farmers top tour
I get a kick out of Harry's lurking angst around unanticipated repair bills. I think the chap is doing OK...clearly.
Love your content Harry and great to see Jeremy here. 👍✌️
Great episode, so simple yet so entertaining.
Love it when you embed those photos of your motors from years gone by.
I just love Jeremy. A pub run with the two of you would be spectacular.
Harry and Jeremy should do this more often! It’s awesome!
Still keeping our 2006 l322 running. 255k miles and counting. Best vehicle ever
I've got a 2001 P38 and it's still going strong. It's loaded with tools and I get a lot of good use from it.
Clarkson's Farm is one of my favorite series, seen all of them, and have learned a great deal about the troubles farmers go through to feed their nation, working against most of the Government officials to put food on their tables. Reform is seriously needed and I hope the people of GB will wake up and demand changes. Also, the show is hilarious. Thanks for checking in with him. I've followed. your channel for years now and this was a special one. The Silverstone previews are still my favorite but your restorations are fascinating too. As a result I've come to appreciate some cars that I knew so little about including the distinctive Espada. I hope to see one in person at some point, but being here in the states, I don't know if that will ever happen.
No reform will ever be enough sadly. Something much deeper will need to be cleaned inside out.
No farmers no food ❤
Excellent video as always. I had the face lifted 2011 supercharged and miss it. Never had any problems with the battery, but didn’t jump in and out of it constantly.
One of my favourite cars of all time!
Nice to see some local farmers on the channel…
A very authentic, simple meetup chat. This is as good as journalism gets.
I just loved this. Harry trying to get back to the point each time hilarious.
Not ever easy when Jeremy is around. 😊
This warmed my heart. I’ve always looked up to both of these men.
Ive got a 2008 Range Rover Vouge, 3.6TDV8 and its just clocked over 323,000kms. In Australia, 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 Its been a tremendous car, and when asked about it, i always say, its like driving around my lounge suite. Its worth nothing to trade in, so my intention is to keep till it falls apart. Im disabled, and getting in and out is by far the easiest. Its the 4th one ive had over the years.
Im actually thinking about one nearby but its a 2009 of yours. What should i look out for and what kind of maintenance are you doing?
Love listening to two old blokes talking about cars 👍
