      Works with samsung model un46fh6030f! 🎉 But the location number is "J854" not "JP854“. Just snip it and turn the 2 ends of the snipped metal wire away from each other. Saved me $400 from not having to buy a new TV 🙌🏻😁

    This is NOT A STUPID Fix. Based on my quick internet research this is based on a Samsung Service Advisory. Many people have fixed their flickering & strobing screen problem in Samsung LCD TVs specially for 46" & 55".
    For me the issue started about 7 days ago, it was intermittent but many others have complained that usually it starts intermittently but then becomes permanent problem. Last night my issue worsen after I kept my TV on for several hours. My TV is about 4-5 years old so I was thinking of buying a new one but just found this fix which initially scared me (cutting a jumper on power board without knowing what it does is really scary) but I did search hard on internet & found many has done the same thing & their TV is working great after months of cutting this jumper so I took my chance & did it today. I kept my TV on for several hours & it is working exactly the way it used to work normally & I did not see any flickering or strobing issue. Jumper JP852 for 46" LCD TV and JP854 on 55" LCD TV on power board. Please remember this solution has been verified by many internet users for Samsung 46" & 55" LCD TVs. Do not try this on any other make as that can cause catastrophic accidents & destroy the TV & or any other property.

      It's a jumper they were supposed to separate at the factory but apparently didn't: "You will also see near this wire and lettering a diagram right under it, it should show two lines that are not connected. This proves that this jumper should not have been connected in the first place." -samsungtvflickering.com/

    LN55C630 developed this issue after less than 300 hours of use. I cut jp854 as you did and its worked awesome for more than two weeks now. Thanks! PS make sure you cut the right jumper for your model #. Don't touch the "HOT" side of the power supply board and if you screw up a single drop of solder will repair the cut jumper.

    UN60H6203 I tried this fix for my model but I the board is completely different. So I tried cutting one by one guessing which would be the miracle one.
    The flickering persisted on following jumpers.
    JP842
    JP805
    JP820
    The TV stopped turning back on when I cut JP801, Tried soldering it back just like the previous ones but it did not work and the TV didn't turn on. DO NOT DO JP801 for this model. On another note i'm orderint a new power supply, at least i tried.

    • @dannycastano4282
      @dannycastano4282 6 років тому +2

      UPDATE: I ordered the power supply for my TV off eBay last week and when I got it I installed it carefully (though the part seemed to be really old and the board had what looked like a burned part on it. didn't pay mind to this and installed it thinking it would work but it didn't. no power at all. then i tried the original part again because it did showed signs of power everytime I disconnected the cable strip that goes to the other board the creen would flash ones even if it was already disconnected from power outlet. so that meant to me that even thougt the tv didn't turn on when pressing the power button there was power flowing through it but this didn't happened with the ordered part. So I returned it to the seller and ordered another one from the site that Tampatech recommended in the desceiption of this video, I will update on results once I get the part and do the installation. I'm crossing fingers that this time all will work.

    dude !!! You da man !!! I was so pissed off my 55" Samsung started doing this flickering. I opened up the back, cut that jumper that you indicated, put back together and now it works perfectly !!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!! I'm glad I found your posting on this, there are others but I found them confusing... One guy bought and replaced the entire power board!! Probably expensive. Take care.

    I have an 8000 series Samsung and it started flickering over a year ago. I live in the small town of Alpena Michigan. There isn't really anyone here to fix these TV's. I watched this video and figured I have nothing to lose. Our number was JP 852 on the board. I cut it and put it all back together. IT WORKED! We were ready to go buy a new TV. Just saved ourselves a couple grand. It took less than 20 minutes. Thank you.

    Thank You so much for this step by step video. I have the LN55C630 TV and I have had it for 3.5 years. Just last week it started the strobbing/flashing issue which is so talked about largly online. I talked with samsung customer service, and they stated that the 2012 Lawsuite that Samsung paid $500M for was the 2008-2009 modles. and that my TV was a 2010 and not covered. They want to send a tech to my house and trouble shoot the issue and fix the TV. The estimated cost was $300-$450. I called a few other local places they all knew about this issue stated that it was very common on these TV's rom Samsung and wanted about the same amount of money. As I searched for way to fix at home, I found tons of people talking about cutting this jumper wire. I was very hesitant about doing it, but in the end, what did I have to loose. I followed these steps, and now my TV is working great. Thank You again for your help, and saving me a few bucks.
