I'm a therapist in the research phases of starting my own channel and appreciate seeing someone starting out and taking risks. Also, appreciate the exercises for my somatic work with clients. Good luck with the channel!
Sorry about that Nancy! They were crossed. So you cross your ankles and then use that as resistance as you try to pull your legs apart from each other and then slowly relax afterwards. I hope that helps!
Hi @freespirithippie6857! The idea is to engage the muscles in the legs and then let them relax after, thus beginning to complete some of the flight/fight response that may be left over in the nervous system. So, if the legs are crossed and then you are trying to pull them apart, you should experience the leg muscles engaging and then noticing what it feels like after you relax them. I hope that helps!
I know! They are brutal, unfortunately I can’t get rid of the mid-video ads until I am a monetized channel… which basically means more subscribers and views and I’m not there yet :( one day!
@@NicoleLarsonSomatics I'm not sure if you can do anything about it but they are popping up at regular intervals when we are trying to relax and tune in.
Hi Denise, I am so sorry about that, I know it's annoying and disruptive. Unfortunately, UA-cam doesn't give me and option to change it until my channel becomes monetized (aka. more views and subscribers), when it does, I'll be eliminating mid-video ads
Subscribed- This was so relaxing, thank you! I haven’t seen much of this kind of content on UA-cam before but it’s super helpful. ❤
Thank you! I am so glad you found it helpful. I agree, I have been able to attend classes in person but have had to really search for it online.
Thank you. I was feeling so tired and anxious but now I feel relaxed and wide awake.
That's wonderful, I am glad you were able to experience a welcome shift.

Thank you :) Good luck to you as well!
So happy I found your channel! Wonderful videos. I appreciate the clear audio and video without wild music.
Thanks Claudia, I really appreciate it. I'm so glad you like them and the audio comes through clearly :)
Hi. Your ankles are cut off so I couldn't see what you were doing with them.

Ok, thanks, got it! I absolutely love your videos. Very helpful and easy to understand. They make sense!
That’s wonderful to hear :) thank you!
I don't understand crossing the ankle and pulling them apart exercise.

The ad in the middle was distracting and my system heightened back up.

Is yawning normal?
Yes! People may yawn as they move into more of a parasympathetic/calm regulated state.
More ads in the middle of this 😢
Thank you, I am hoping this is fixed now. Thank you for tuning in :) Edit: Unfortunately I cannot change this until I have a monetized YT channel.
