      Thank you for the kind words Nancy! I went through the video and the sound seems to be clear and working on my end. I try to avoid overlaying my videos with music so it’s easy to hear or turn up if necessary. Prehaps try turning it up or trying a different speaker. I’ll make an effort to keep sound clear on future videos! ❤️

    Hi. Your ankles are cut off so I couldn't see what you were doing with them.

      Sorry about that Nancy! They were crossed. So you cross your ankles and then use that as resistance as you try to pull your legs apart from each other and then slowly relax afterwards. I hope that helps!

    This is exactly what I needed right now. I have been so hard on myself that I had pushed myself to the state of Dorsal shutdown & freeze. Been so accustomed to doing things the hard way that it becomes difficult to do the things the easy way. But this was really helpful. Thank you so much 💜

    Wow I feel so much anxiety looking around and slowing down my body sense danger with slowing down

      This can be common! Sometimes when we slow down and are in a bit of a freeze, we can start to feel what is under that freeze (in terms of polyvagal theory). I would suggest a few things: you could look around or orient until you feel the edge of anxiety coming on and then do something that helps you settle, like maybe wrapping yourself up in a blanket and rocking or doing anything that you enjoy and feels good, and know that that is enough for the day. Take a break and know your system will develop more capacity to settle and feel safe as you practice. You want to take the approach of slowing dipping in and out. When you slow down and look around, make sure you’re in a place you feel some comfort in as well. The key here is baby steps :) Edit: you could also try doing this with a friend, a pet, or professional to support your nervous system in feeling safe. Or instead of using your eyes using other senses such as smell, touch or sound.

    Content was good but got jolted out of relaxation with 3 loud ads interrupting the session. It certainly wasn’t relaxing because of this. Is it possibly to change your ad settings?

      Hi! It's a little less straight forward for me to fix this because I am not monetized, but I think I found the correct setting! It's a little unclear. Thanks for alerting me to this, mid-video ads would definitely jolt anyone out of relaxation :) Thanks for watching! Update: I cannot clear mid video ads until my channel is monetized. When I hit that point, I'll make sure mid-video ads are turned off.

One thing I like to remind myself when I’m not feeling great and have a shift with a practice, is that I’m learning to operate my nervous system and if one shift happened, more can come.
