I really hope GW re do terminators and old skool space marines making them a better scale. I have a really bad feeling they’re gonna change terminators into something completely different and get rid of the emperors space marines altogether.

Giles Chenery There’s ways they could work it into the lore and tabletop. Maybe cawls primaris have a limited lifespan compared to the emperors marines. Or they could keep old skool marines as hardened veterans.

Grey knights, the unique army with 3 kits (2 units, 1 "vehicle"), 4 characters, and 1 HQ specific...
I was always confused as to why the Grey knights have only one fast attack (interceptors), and only the storm raven, storm hawk, rhino, and land raider.
There are only 2 vable strats though, Paladin rush, or Papoose platoon (all dreadknights).

The Brother Captain and Stern minis were done in 2003 while Castellan Crowe and Draigo were done in 2011. That is the difference. Those metal models from 2003 were great at the time, and aged better than the 80s and 90s models, but definitely need to be updated.
The Grey Knights have needed an overhaul for a long time. Not just on existing minis but to get new minis and more options.

i agree, Crowe has maintained its look real well. i did give my Voldus a standard terminator head. that new librarian terminator that was released, works perfectly for grey knights having the angelus pattern storm bolter. when they came out with rules for a grand master in dreadknight, i used my converted dreadknight to represent that unit. it uses the front of a venerable dreadnought. i was thinking of making a new one using the redemptor dread, or maybe using the front of the librarian dread from blood angels. get rid of the blood angels iconography and replace them with grey knight ones.

I actually quite like the Dreadknight. Gotta also consider that the exoskeleton isn't any more resistant than the Space Marine armor, so there are actually more benefits to leaving it open than to closing it.
I do wish it had something so the guy in it wouldn't look as silly. Maybe if the front was more "merged" with the armor? As if there was a slot for the grey knight to hop in.

Hello mate...Hope you are well...Greyknights are the only GW 40k army I've got, I should put them on here, mine are painted the same as how gw does them they are almost as good as the ones in the book, i made a colour tweak in that the white helmets became gold, I never bothered with the character models I made my own including one holding the relic blade...I agree with you about the dreadknight it should have had a hull like dreadnought or something like the hulk suit ( and I have seen a picture of one with a dreadnought hull attached it looked good but it was only a picture so couldn't really see the butchery of how it was attached) HOWEVER to call it ( the fluff/the model ) bullshit was a bit strong I thought...titans have things called void shields in them/on them ( or did) so greyknights are elite enough to get something similar I would suggest with out tearing a rift in the 40k space time continuum to see past the "babycarrier" thing (I really must put mine on here)...cheers now

I completely disagree about the dreadknights. With the exception of them not being very possible, they fine without having a more armored front. Their Grey Knight armor is extremely strong, and is capable of handling hits that some imperial tanks would be wrecked by. Not only is the design similar to a lot of power suits in anime and movies (aliens), but real life power suits are designed similarly in a smaller scale.

lol. Grandmaster Voldus - if you looked at the sprue, his head is seperate, so it is a tiny kitbash to bung a lid on him.

I really dislike grey knights for some reason. The amount of ornaments on the models is just too much for me, i have the same problem with custodes
