Here in the Philippines our Ford Raptor for 2019 model is selling at about P1.3M that's $22,414 bucks. It has less than 33K odometer in km's, lift up suspension with anti-rust proof. After test driving it, I noticed that it was out of wheel alignment the steering pulls to the right a little bit and the tires has about 55% tread life. I'm still negotiating with the seller for it. You got less than 7% interest rate for financing. Here in PH banks are ripped off, they want 24%+ for interests, they don't have credit scoring/rating unlike there in the US. So I'm gonna pay mostly cash for it and maybe have 20% balance for loan 1-2yrs financing. So the rate will be only less than 10%.

I test drove both and decided on the Raptor with the 37 package. I like Toyota but the TRD Pro is just an inferior vehicle vs. Raptor. 33 inch tire, no tow hooks, mediocre ground clearance, non-adaptive shocks, etc. For the price Toyota is asking for the TRD Pro, even a gen 2 Raptor can leave the TRD Pro in the dirt when it comes to capability and fun.
As a current 2017 Tundra TRD Pro owner, it's nothing to write home about. It's a basic truck with TRD Pro badging and a slightly better suspension (if I were to do it again, I would have bought an SR5 or Limited and then put an Icon suspension on it). From a performance and technology perspective, the Raptor is way ahead. Especially considering the Toyota tax, you're getting a lot more for your money with a used Raptor imho. But you also have to consider the spotty reliability with Ford and the gen 2 Tundra's (not the gen 3) are well sorted and reliabile rigs. I'll most likely upgrade to a Raptor next but I'm holding off for a bit because my truck has just never had an issue in 130k miles so far so it's hard to justify.

Would you still do it over again? Been looking at raptors and although I prefer the 3rd gen I don’t want to drop that kind of cash. Still impressed with the truck? Pros and cons?
@@kylechristensen9914 Ya I still would. Love my truck! Just make sure you get one for a solid deal and don’t look back! My last truck I had for 7.5 years and I plan to drive this one for quite some time! Biggest thing with gen 2 is you could have some cam phaser problems, just get a Ford ESP warranty and enjoy it.
2nd gen looks better.
Did you remove the big Autotec screen? If so, why?
Ya I did. I reverted back for the time being. Kinda missed the simplicity of stock, but that Autotec screen is deal. I did a road trip to Texas recently and really wish I had it installed for that. I sold mine to a friend and I might just pick up another 😂
28k for a 2019 with 150k miles a good deal? Or a ticking time bomb? Even with inspection and single owner?
I would find out if the owner says what all he has had done, then carfax it. Look the carfax over and if it shows it had work done. Call that business and give them the vin and they will tell you what they fixed. Listen for cam phaser noise on cold start. If it seems like its been a solid truck with minimal issues over the 150k life then go for it. I just would for sure plan to buy the Ford ESP Warranty.
How is the gas situation? Mpg and type of gas
I generally run 91 and average about 15-16
What wheels are you running and tires/sizes? Sweet raptor!
Method MR305’s in 17x9 +0 Offset in double black with BFG KO2’s 315/70/17 (factory tire)
@@f1fiftyjimmy what load range tire is that? C, D, E? Been reading up on tires and will need new tires for my wheels once I order. I was thinking going factory size but see others going 35x12.5x17
@@blazing2557 they are the factory tire spec, so these are C rated. I will say the ride out of the C rated tires rides very smooth.
@@f1fiftyjimmy from what I've read anyway, I guess D and E are a thicker compound and load capacity but I imagine ride is better on C since not being as stiff. Have you done any offroad?
@@blazing2557 I don't do any offroading, nothing around Iowa worthwhile to try. If I was offroading I would for sure step up to the D or E rated tire.
Literally did the same exact thing as you. Same year and mileage. Fiancés through the dealer, got the warranty, and refuse with my credit union. I put down 34 (sold my other truck and beater commuter car)
Love my gen 2. Take a wet magic eraser to your steering wheel, will take away the shine and make the leather soft and feel new
I'll give it a try!
What made you with go with a Raptor over a Toyota TRD Pro? Looking for a truck right now.
I'm just a ford guy at heart and have always loved the raptor. I will say the Toyota TRD pro's are still a cool truck.
@@Arkhaos12xthanks for the info. I picked up a 2023 Raptor in Azure blue and the R37 package.
Is under 70K doable for a 21?
Ya I wouldn't spend over 70 on a 21. I think 60k range is where I have been seeing them depending on miles of course.
I gotta 2019 30k miles fine 65
What's your net worth?
I just got one 2019 172,000 miles for $27,500
Dang! Thats some miles. You get a warranty for it?
Same old story , how haggled for days for a few bucks
and almost got screwed OMG ,
610 is wild after 15k down nahh
no cap
2022 ??
2019
Jeez 60 months at 6.8%? 😂
been loosely looking for this exact raptor with similar mileage for around 6 months now. Noticing pretty significant price drop in my last search - $40-45k range now. Looking to trade in my 2019 Tacoma for around $32k
