    Man, think the gen 2 hit the Sweet spot, not ready to get one but will keep this on mind if I need something larger than my Ranger.

      @@NovichenkoWhipsthere’s no Gen 4 yet…it’s still in Gen 3. You got the Gen 2 like I do and 2021-present models are Gen 3.

      @@NovichenkoWhips they do have new headlights. The tailgate is different too I think. Like the 13th Gen F-150, 2015-17 has one set of grille options and headlights, then the 18-20 have a different set of grilles and headlights. Same with the 14th gen, 2021-23 have a different looking front end than the 24 models. But they’re in the same generation. So the 15th gen F150 will come out in 2027 so the Gen 4 Raptor will likely be 2027-28.

    Love my 2020 gen 2. Spd trombone exhaust, injen dual cold air intake. All piping changed. Wagner intercooler with mpt tune and one step colder plugs. Eibach front level spring on 17” wheels and 37” mid terrains

    Help wanted*
    I’m torn between three trucks
    2023 Toyota trd off road 32k miles for 37k
    2024 nissan frontier pro 4 x brand new for 39k
    2017 ford raptor 100k miles (cam phasers replaced) for 37k
    Can’t make my mind up
    It will be a daily commuter as well as some light off roading throughout the year in hunting properties. The reason I like the raptor is because it’s a dream truck, and I think it would be great for road trips which I do once or twice a month. But I very much prioritize reliability

      @@temperfi7298 raptor is slightly worse on mpg’s than the trd. But much more power/fun :) Those would be my considerations.

      @@NovichenkoWhipsas a Toyota guy ,, no power shitty mpg , only thing a raptor has better is power , mpg , comfort , stock suspension, full size. ,, as a Toyota your gonna get reliability. Knock on wood i bought my Tacoma at 90k miles and now I have 171k and I beat the piss out of it , never had a issue over then cv axles things like that since I do wheel my truck. But haven’t got a engine light yet

    Are there any problems with the cam phasers on the 2019-2020 raptors??

      @@rafitaaguilera8315 people say yes.. mine is very low mileage. I think I’ve heard maybe slight noise once or twice on a very cold start. I do try to use 5W-40 thicker oil plus oil additives. And more frequent oil changes..

    Great video. I did some research on if the gen 3 ecoboost needs an oil catch can and it seems like they don’t given they have a certain type of injector…what do you think?

      @@Alex-mw9un I think any turbo vehicle needs a catch can or air-oil separator system. If you want to stick with OEM parts Ford Performance makes them for these trucks. They look pretty sleek.

      @@jibinkodiat3063 cobb stage 2, cobb intercooler, turbosmart blow off valve, spd trombone, k&n intake insert filter. Want to do spd turbo adapters soon, then the downpipes maybe..

      @@NovichenkoWhips I have about 115k mile on my gen 2 right now. The best advice I can give is to ditch the stock leaf springs. But most importantly, use FORScan to permanently disable the "Transmission Adaptive Learning." Unless you like when your truck starts to slam into gear lmao. My truck started to do it around 70k miles.

      2018 at 71k miles. Cam phasers gave out at 21k and then again at 70k. I love the truck, keep eye on oil pressure if you play with the rpms as much as I do.

      @@Alex-mw9un 70k with down payment i had a 2017 and i put 14k into it second trans a long list of thing broke on it but the gen 3 i wont lie i beat on my 2021 and nothing its good just 120$ to fill up every 5 days is not fun i think around 6-7 years its time to trade it in

      Def not. 3.5L TT gen 1 EB owner and it runs at 0 fuel trims. Quick af. Still smoking newer trucks in a 2012 1st gen EB. Without a tune. I've owned a shit ton of vehicles. The 3.5l tt just feels solid. Engine feels sporty and insanely responsive in a truck
