hey sir - been stalking your videos for the past month or so - good content. Sold my gen 2 (2019) about 6 months ago... long story. Picking up another gen 2 here shortly as the gen 3 are still too pricey. Plus, this is not my only vehicle. If sale goes through, I'll be reviewing these recommendations again. Question: assume you can only access the heated steering wheel via oem sync screen? Not sure I see another way of turning it on/off as the function is built into the APIM module. Wish there was a hard button like on gen 3.

Have that same inflator for my gen 2 Raptor. Highly recommend as well it’s great and one of the only ones that can fill a 35in tire.

Just so everyone knows, I own a brand that builds them, The amazon ones are all made with a cheap epoxy that yellows over time. There are also seams on the carbon 90% of the time and that throws the look off

Those minor issues likely would have cost you thousands of dollars if you took it to the ford dealership or should i say Stealership? Local BMW Stealership taught me that lesson. I would much rather use the Chevy and Ford dealerships i know in my area, they don’t rob their customers. Other ford/chevy dealerships do, but I’ve had great experiences with B&B Ford and Malcom Cunningham Chevrolet. Fords intimidate me to wrench on. Chevy, i can do minor stuff on if i had to. Ford looks like new math that i never learned😂

To know if your shocks and blown (except if evident leak marks) ask a friend to drive your truck, the problem is the ride changes so slowly that as owners we just get used to it. i bought new ones from Summit Racing, my Gen 1 has 120k I don't know when last they have been done. i used to notice some frame twisting on high speed bumps and now no more, old ones had gone to soft. Now I can't decide to either get the old ones redone or sell them as is. usually when I start accumulating parts I end up losing the vehicle before using those parts and now I could open a shop haha. ha and if someone wants to buy my old shocks they are in great shape, used like new haha

Hey Jim, I end up buying that myself and I did use the adhesive but they give you four little supposed to be self tappers that don’t go down very far. I use them as well because I’m in Florida with this crazy heat. It might come loose. But I love it thanks for the recommendation. Plus they give you that little rubber mount that goes in the middle of the arm that will rest on your console so you don’t mark it. I noticed you didn’t have it on yours. Plus, not to change the subject, I love to have that big screen you put in your F150. But I don’t know if I wanna fool with it. It seems pretty simple though. Thanks again. Have a great weekend.

@f1fiftyjimmy only thing holding me back from getting these large screen aftermarket stereos is me not knowing how dim the screen can get during night time. Not a big fan of bright lights in the cab at night. Was wondering what your thoughts on the brightness was for night time driving.

I installed my Autotech system about 16 months ago and now when I shut my F-150 off the screen won't power down draining my battery. Do you know a fix for this problem?

Upgraded my cabin filter to a lifetime K&N cabin filter where all I have to do is clean it from time to time. I plan on getting some of those ford performance plugs for my own EcoBeast truck. Never changed the plugs by myself before, is it hard? So you remove the coil overs to get to the spark plugs? Yes I need 6 as well. I’m tuned by MPT so that is why I’m goin to go with them and plan also upgrading the intercooler with a bigger more volume one with an aftermarket blowoff valve (unless you think you would get the same effect with a VTA mod and less expensive, I don’t want no check engine lights), and an injen intake. Currently I have installed 160 thermostat, a Borla Atak cat back exhaust, CV high flowed catted down pipes along with turbo adapters that makes the turbo inlet for exhaust a lot bigger to make the turbos come alive and sound better. The exhaust on my truck now sounds wicked and definitely loud on startup with a deep roar of a V8 even though it’s an Ecoboost V6. It’s quiet when you want it to be and loud when u get on it. Sounds amazing. I’ll have to see if I can find those videos and upload them here. But my truck is close to 100,000 miles being that it’s a 2018 so spark plugs are a must for me but usually pay someone to do it for me.

This is the only big screen system that retains everything from factory except for the cd changer which I rarely ever use since I can download all the music to my phone and listen to it that way
