It was probably ignorance OR the tech not caring when they did the inspection rather than the dealer trying to hose you. I have trust issues with dealers because I was a benz tech and saw many hacks and crooks. Not all, but it only takes a few in a dealer with 50 techs to give a few people a bad experience. I'm not a huge union guy but surprised more dealers arent unionized in their shops.

I purchased a used 2015 F150 Lariat with 69,000 miles over the weekend. They offered me a 6yr/100,000 mile PremiumCARE warranty for $4500. Went back and forth with them and got it down to $2,928. I believe I’ll hit the mileage limit first so it can out to under 3 cents a mile.

I am loving my '21 Ranger Tremor but man, my wife sure hates the interior size when we go out of state, that is why I am here lol. Not sure I am ready to ditch the Ranger but thanks to your videos on your experience, I think the gen2 2019-2020 could be a good route for us. These years seem to get you a ton of what a new 2024 Raptor would get you but for over $30k less. Not sure if I am missing anything but seem like a deal at this point.

I ordered one for my f250 and they never messaged me on what screen I needed. So I replied to the order email from aliexpress with a picture of my stock sync 3 small screen. Hopefully they send me the correct screen without the ac controls.

I think this is what’s going on with mine. I was about to switch the alternator and battery reads healthy but is dead in the morning and realized the P was not illuminated when I park.

Once you go Raptor, you just can’t drive anything else besides another Raptor….Theyre the best vehicles ever made. Hope you get to experience gen 3 soon! Compare to gen 2, it’s on another level.

Have you had issues of it freezing up because it’s a tablet how often do you restart it?

So I have something different but similar. The truck is mechanically in Drive. But the shifter is locked in Park. So the truck doesn't start because it's in drive and not neutral, but I can't move the shifter out of park because the truck won't turn on and disengage the parking lock on the shifter.

Truck feels brand new and I was able to connect with the prior owner who took good care of it. I plan to drive it for 10 years (or my wife will leave me). Safe driving and good luck!

I'm looking at getting the bed rug, but haven't found a clean look for the bed lights. It looks like you have a plate around the light to hold down the rug. Did you buy them or did it come with the Raptor? I have a 23 F-150 and there is only a rubber gasket around the lights.

I've had a Retrax cover for a few years now and it leaks pretty bad. More as the front and rear so I added more foam seals around the tailgate area which help some, but with the moisture getting in all the time, the hardward for my retrax is rusting and after sending in pics they basically reply with, we don't guarantee it's waterproof. Such BS and not willing to help. I would stay away from Retrax going forward. I have Thule racks on mine which there are very few options with the rails for them sadly.

I got my Connect fixt 3 times i email with ford back an forward unless 20 emails and they left me hanging they want me to go 4th time on service . i lost 2 months and i was fired from work (cant work with no van) cannot sue them no money for that but i want Everybody to know Ford looks like made in China when you need them or there warranty they do not honor warranty who you pay for! that was me .....maybe you are lucky.

If I wasn't poor, I'd probably go Bak revolver x4s. You don't lose any interior bed space from where the roll up stows, and you don't block your visibility like a fold up. The only lost ability is the half closed feature, but we all have our preferences. Great looking truck!

Glad to see another raptor video. I have a bed rug in my gen 1 when I bought it. My concern is if it's holding any water underneath that could cause rot long term. Thought about getting line x sprayed instead but dunno yet. Don't haul much at this time

My buddy finally got his 2024 Ford ranger raptor after waiting a year. He had it for 3 days and the dash electrical system died. Nothing will work screens are dead been at the dealership for 3 weeks. They said they can't fix it and they are going to find him one or return his money.

As far as the new unit's EQ, I've played with it quite a bit and finally got it to sound clean and punchy( I've got the Factory Kicker sub in the back as well with mostly stock XLT speakers (upgraded front doors to the Alpine S69 which are basically stock replacements) The following settings may vary from set up to set up (from left to right) [ 10, 4, -3, -1, 0, -3, 2, 3, 1, -1, -1, 0, 0, 0, 4, 7 ] The first setting at 10 is really to be adjusted "to your taste" if you like more bass then up and if you like less bass then pull it down a few notches. If you hear any distortion in your lows (bass) lower the 4 on the left side (2nd from left). If you desire more highs tweak the right side. Anyway I hope this helps folks looking for a good jump off point to tweak from. Oh! also, if you've already adjusted your system gain from 30 to 40 or other you may want to return it to the factory settings of 30 for the above EQ settings to sound right. Otherwise if you want to keep it at 40 then just lower your bass levels in the EQ settings. Good luck!

Great video thanks. I have 2021 Kuga Vignale and the radio was not holding onto the last station listening too, and at every restart I got the SUSY station by default. Also, during a Bluetooth call the radio just started playing, and I couldn’t hear the other person, although they could hear me and the radio playing!!! Strange… I have completed the update to SYNC 3, Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188_ PRODUCT a few days ago and so far all good

I bought a android 14 like you and my ac was working on the screen , now its not. I have tried to get guidance from seller, and yes its hard. I have a 2016 F150 XLT , I found where it ask F150 HI F150 LO and so many protocols. which one do I pick and I go toSi auto, S2 and so on . So I was told to as well use 16 auto a/c. Can you please help me SIR
