Thank you man Ive already built a rho at mark dodge month ago. Only 62,000 plus tax out door I didn't get level one but thank you for your honesty and time bud. Just waiting to place order when I get home from work
I have a 17 Raptor. I'm not looking to upgrade yet, having no payment is nice. But this could absolutely be my next truck. I'll give it a few years to get the bugs worked out
All second your video I’ve already got over 1300 miles on mine and have had zero issues with it I’ve even taken it down to the Grand Canyon on over 200 miles of gravel Road in Baja and it literally rips
Hey you really make me take the decision, I’m going for the HRO 100% - I drove my 2020 tundra from New York to Miami FL back and forward and I still have pain in my right leg , that new system is super necessary if you pretend to use it for long distances travel. Thanks for the video new sub very good content
My passenger screen on my Rebel X was great for my daughter when we drove from SC to ARK. We used a Roku stick attached and she was able to watch UA-cam or movies the whole way there and back. We travel about 4 1/2 hours to GA a couple times a year to my brothers and my wife can watch her shows while I drive.
My Cobb tunes gen 2 Raptor with borla twin mufflers running 93octane on my trip from Toledo Ohio to gatlinburg Tennessee and back home I was average 18.2mpg and I topped off in servile Tennessee and made it 568miles back to Toledo Ohio on 1 tank !! Low fuel light came on!!!! Love my Raptor on stock 35inch BFG tires
That is incredible! Raptor is a great truck! I never got 18 with mine but I also think if I slowed down and did drive 80 everywhere I could pick up some MPGs
I ordered mine yesterday from a dealership here in Texas mine will be here next Thursday thank you for the video very helpful cause my wife didn’t like my buy 🤣🤦🏾♂️
Congrats on the new and very nice rig. Well deserved. My wife's 23' Grand Cherokee shows the same alerts on her factory nav. I think it will be a long time before I get comfortable with "hands free", maybe never. I already feel uncomfortable with adaptive cruise control. Great content as usual, looking forward to the new content.
Hey thanks man for the comment! that 23 GC is a sweet ride! man when you are tired that hands fee was pretty great though! I appreciate your kind words and watching the channel!! a lot more to come on this bad boy!
I own a ’21 Limited, and I still hold onto the hope of seeing a V8 HEMI return. However, I must acknowledge that all your compliments are valid, even in my current vehicle. The headlights are particularly noteworthy because I often travel long distances. During these trips, I frequently encounter long stretches of dark, hilly, and windy roads. The high beams on my truck are incredibly bright, to the point where I’ve noticed that other drivers avoid passing me so they can have a better view of the road ahead. It’s quite amazing! 😘 GR8 review.. liked & SUB
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you liked the review, and I totally agree about the headlights! Thanks for the subscription. I hope you enjoy the channel and stay tuned for more fun ram content!
Nice truck. I thought my 2022 GMC AT4, 6.2 was bad on mpg. I drove to NC and back, almost 3000 miles and averaged close to 18 mpg. I hated my tire noise, GoodYear Wrangler’s. I really like your hands free feature.
Thank you for watching and leaving the comment! Those GoodYears are loud. They performed pretty good but the road noise and vibration on the past few sets I’ve had I would never own another set. Curious to get your feedback on the next video.!
Good review. I love dense information. I’m bummed about the all wheel drive. I wonder if that can be tuned away in the future. In my old Armada, I had the choice of 2 WD, AWD, 4-HI and 4-LO. I really liked just instantly switching to AWD when I was jumping into traffic on uneven or loose pavement.
Thank you for watching! TRX was same way full time AWD! I am with you, I will talk about this more soon! some modes allow rear end to get a little loose!
For the Ram App. Go into the settings, once you are logged in, and activate the Face ID function. Then you no longer had to put a code in each time. Thanks for the unbiased review. I’m a MOPAR Ram fanboy I guess. Ive driven Ram trucks since 1999. Last Ford I had was a new 1993 Gen 1 lightning. That was a horrible vehicle and only kept it about 8 months. Currently have a ‘24 Ram Rebel GT. Looked at TRXs, but because of it being a “Final Edition” could not get one for under $130k out the door. And I found that to be ridiculous. May look at a RHO in 26 when I’m ready again. Good luck with you new ride.
This is a great comment, I think a lot of it due to the price point. Raptor R selling for $130-150k, RHO selling for 65-75k..have the price with a great interior/hands free driving...add a JB4 tune and your near 700hp like a Raptor R and TRX...this truck has some potential
Great video. I’m torn between getting the RHO or raptor. I always wanted a raptor but the RHO is making this decision harder. I think the interior blows the raptor away. So I look forward to your upcoming videos of both of them.
There is a tune from jb4, supposed to increase your hp by as much as 100hp, also, if you want a little more noise, steelworks makes the catback exhaust for the hurricane engines
Yes sir! Talking to several companies about tuning right now! More to come on this, but I can tell you this is going to shocking people with this thing is capable of
It's a cool truck, and a good value if you're paying well below MSRP. At MSRP or above, I just don't see it. I like the self-driving, but the mpg's are a major disappointment. If you're moving from Hellcat to Hurricane in the name of efficiency, I would expect you get more of a difference. I think had we not known about the TRX, this would have been more appealing. Ram should have come out with this truck prior to the TRX.
It is interesting watching how Ford and Ram have been battling it out in the off road half ton series. A lot of truth in what you said..given the economy we have been heading into I think more buyers would be interested in a small fuel economy savings with hands free driving for $40k less than a TRX. TRX will always be the king, but this will outsell volume wise and take a lot of market share from the Ford F-150 Raptor.
Great looking truck and thanks for the honest video review. For me as a wish list, I would like to be able to option the power running boards and bed power onboard. Also as you mentioned the ability to run on 2WD and switch to AWD to save a bit on fuel and power train wear. Aside from that, RAM did a great job.
TRX and RHO feel completely different going down the road. I talk about this on tomorrows video. Raptor R is incredible and my Favorite V8. R button is great!!
Hey bud, there’s a channel called Sahara tuning, he showed dyno results I believe you would be impressed with, especially whp and torque numbers, check it out,the only thing is he is working on getting the exhaust note right cause he took the stock exhaust off, sounded horrible on a cold start, but it’s all testing intent
I mean, is this where we are at?? A brand new vehicle made it 1300 miles and…that’s supposed to be a big deal? Ok 👍🏼 Other than that, I’m def interested to see wheee things go now with the next gen Raptor. I’m happy the RHO exists…competition is good!
Sadly...some truth to it. Recalls on every brand/quality issues..yes lol I was glad to get home! haha, I look forward to not having to worry about these things in the future! If it wasnt for the Ram TRX ford would have never brought out Raptor R...now RHO...Raptor will have to come with a strong answer for 2026 (Hoping 5.0 raptor)!
Sweet truck. I’m a 22 Raptor owner. Was looking at used 23 trx. Now im hearing the noise of a trx comeback. Would potentially looks into the RHO as well.
I would love to see TRX come back, if it does my guess is it will be a hybrid/3.0l twin turbo Hurricane but I would be willing to wager some money we never see a super charged V8 in an offroad truck again...if so it will be pricey (2024 TRXs...115k-124k). RHO rips its power is dead even between base raptor and Raptor R
@ there are recent spy shots of of a 6.2 hellcat ram in Michigan this past week. They extended the Durango hellcat production which to me the writing is on the wall. Old CEO Tim K is back. I don’t know if the TRX name will be back but I would wager a 6.2 hellcat powered ram coming. Seems to be lining up especially with new administration, new ceo, stellantis economic failure and market desire for v8 option.
Completely different vehicles and powertrains for sure, but man does that fuel mileage crap it’s pants in comparison to the Duramax 3.0 LZ0. My 1500 AT4 has me spoiled… Sick truck nonetheless, and all I’ve heard are great things in regards to Mark Dodge. Maybe I should head on down from Michigan as well to see what the hype is all about. Wonderful video, and many blessings to you going forward!
You are absolutely right, those diesel trucks get awesome fuel economy but have a completely different feel! LZ0 is the best diesel out there right now (half ton segment)! If you are after MPGs...Hurricane is hungry! Thanks for watching! more fun to come!
I was wondering if the new 14.4” screen is any wider than the 12”? I have a 19 ram with the 12” screen. The height is great but I wish it was slightly wider. Just curious. I have a RHO on order in the Atlanta area so excited for the upgrade from what I currently have
I noticed that very one is doing 75-80 mph's . Up here in Canada, you would get a ticket for driving that fast. If you only went 60/70 mph, you would be shocked, how much your mileage would improve, & the truck gets broken in
I've never been a fan of the sound of my Raptor, but after hearing this thing during the valet portion, I guess it could be worse! It should also be noted that the RHO uses a dinky ZF transmission that's only good for 553 ft lbs of torque. At least with the TRX, the 8hp95 gave a lot more headroom for tuning.
Thanks for watching! This RHO exhaust sound is polarizing and really needs to be heard first person (not through a video/mic) to get the best thought on it!
Awesome congrats!! They do a great job. I will probably change my oil here in the next thousand miles. I will have a video on this as I’m probably planning to do an oil analysis as well.
I just bought a fully optioned out 25 Big Horn with the SO and I’m loving it so far! My only concern is that at times the trans feels.. clunky and jerky. I’m assuming you haven’t experienced that with the HO?
The only thing bugging me with my one week old 25, unless I'm missing something, is every-time I want to change the AC fan speed I have to go into the comfort window and hit the bar. I do this a lot and my 2020 also had a dial under the screen.
I love my 2.7 ecoboost un my 23 xlt and I get 9 to 10L/100km to a tank and get 1275-1400km to a tank and still can beat any stock hemi 0 to 60 and is great comfort. After years of ram boys making fun of ecoboosts now all of a sudden they're fans of a twin turbo 6 cylinder. Everyone waits for Ford to lead the pack in innovation and then they copy it and try to make it better. Nice to see they along with Toyota and Gm have come to their senses and make a fast powerful fuel efficient truck. 15mpg isn't good at all though but probably better than any hemi
I couldnt agree more! The 2.7l and 3.0l are my favorite EB motors...Ford was 10-15 years ahead of everyone else with these boosted 6 motors! Thanks for watching!
Going from a Raptor R to a RHO is bonkers. I have a 37 Raptor and drove a TRX for 8 hrs and felt like I was in a boaty charger that would body roll like crazy. Also having to go through all of the screens to setup the suspension/etc drove me crazy. Makes me love my R button.
You'll need that 36 gal gas tank. At 14 mpg hwy, that's sad. My 5.7 hemi gets that good in the city driving. She gets 17+ on the interstate. No, Stellantis knows they F'd up and know if they don't change it, there will be no more Ram trucks, or the reject, so-called "Jeeps"
Very Nice review and nice Truck👍 Congrats! But with the MPG equivalent to the TRX, It doesn’t make sense to get this truck over a low mileage TRX. The Hellcat motor takes this truck into another league.
Never been interested in RAM but these RHOs seem like a crazy bargain. I’m more interested in the comfort and suspension tech and an inline six pushing 500hp is plenty for me! I read people are getting $10k off still, does that sound right?
Appreciate the review. Love my 24 37pp raptor but curious on your take the massage? Was it noticeable? Or just a gimmick? How does it compare to the Navigator? @ctech-review
Unless you are experiencing pinging (detonation) you get BETTER MPGs with lower octane fuel. Octane is a flame RETARDANT not an enhancer. My guess is you would get the best MPG with 91. In fact the 93 is probably still burning as it goes into the exhaust manifold.
10-4. I never had a vehicle run that high of an rpm. Plus I have had 3:55 and lower. I always run around 1500-1600 Been a while since I have had 392. Still bad ass truck. Good luck with it.
Yes they do. Manual telescoping steering wheel. If you get an opportunity, check out the video that just posted today you can see more on the interior of this truck.
My biggest complaint is the limited tires avail for an 18 inch rim and the cost of switching to 17 is about 9K. I guess the Mark Dodge discount negates that, but it is really annoying. Besides that, the price is a steal compared to the Raptor with the base price and a way better discount. I have no idea why you would get a Raptor over the RHO unless you are a fan boy. The Raptor R costs about 130K with markups. 60K more is not worth it for a cool engine noise. I just don't understand why anyone would get any Raptor over the RHO unless you just have cash to burn.
for 2025 this is a great value truck, thats why the hype is so high on these things. Raptor is still a great truck, I have loved and enjoyed mine. I am excited to see what this RHO is all about
I love how quiet the interior is, how premium the interior is, the heads up display works really well with polarized sunglasses and I like the hands-free driving. I do think the Raptor seat is a little more supple.
What happens if you clear tint the driver window? Anyone have an issue with polarized sunglasses and the heads up? Also, does that ruin the automatic high beams?
That’s a great point I never thought about. I wouldn’t know the answer to that. I will ask the question though to some people about this. Thank you for the comment.
Great question. I think it depends on the driving scenario but my buddy has a 2022 TRX and he drives similar to me and he’s getting between 9.5 and 11.5 MPG.
I have never wanted a TRX more. Also, that inline 6 is basically a fiat engine at the end of the day. So, it’s a big dose of ouch. At the end of the day, if you actually just wanted a truck to do truck things and tow competently, you wouldn’t come within 49 feet of this thing.
I worked with all 3 of these guys but technically Anthony/Aaron made it happen For Sales reach out to the following www.markdodge.net/staff.aspx Aaron - Thomas - Anthony
no 6'4'' box option......cant do short beds had a 33 gal tank on 21 Laramie and would get that option for sure on a truck with this kind of fuel MPG....
Really happy to hear that you enjoy the hands free driving. We worked really hard on it and the RHO specifically took extra time to achieve good lane centering. It makes it all worth it to see a happy owner.
I'm happy with it so far, a lot of technology I've never used before. Thank you for your work on it! Works excellent
Just take EVERYTHING posted online about vehicles with a hugh grain of salt.
This is probably one of the best, unbiased, thorough reviews I’ve seen. Looking forward to the follow up on the RHO. I’m a Rebel owner and am on the fence only due to fuel mileage.
Thank you! More to come on the RHO!
It’s completely biased - a honeymooner with a new truck. Get real.
@@milesb4231 Well these are just getting into owners hands so any and all reviews are going to be short term "honeymooner" for now, what do you expect. Just bought my RHO today! I got a blue one. I LOVE IT.

Good review and honest account of the RHO. This is in the MPG range of my Power Wagon and I do not have a problem with that.
Thanks for the comments! more videos to come on this truck! Glad to hear you liked it. PW is a nice ride!
I think its a sick truck. Hopefully the reliability is as good as the hemi’s. Keep us updated in the long term.
Fingers crossed for the reliability, time will tell! I plan on pushing this thing! got a lot of videos to come on it!
@@CTECH-REVIEWreliability and cost of service, have to think those turbos are going to cost a lot for service after the warranty ends
I hope they’re like the eco-boost because those are about $500 each which is not out of hand for a replacement turbo
I’m having second thoughts on the 2025 raptor I have on order. Love the truck congratulations!!
I would wait for the next video, I get into a bit more detail about that!

I hand calculated mine for 16.2 MPG. 800 mile round-trip.
In your RHO? If so that’s awesome. What speeds you drive at?
@ 75 the whole way there and back.
@ and yes, in my RHO
My 1500 AT4 has me spoiled…
Sick truck nonetheless, and all I’ve heard are great things in regards to Mark Dodge.
I have a RHO on order in the Atlanta area so excited for the upgrade from what I currently have
funny you say that, I think it is a little wider but I will confirm!
nice video great truck.
Thanks for tuning in and watching!
I noticed that very one is doing 75-80 mph's . Up here in Canada, you would get a ticket for driving that fast. If you only went 60/70 mph, you would be shocked, how much your mileage would improve, & the truck gets broken in
You are right, slow and steady wins the race! Our speed limits in many places here are 75-80!
good stuff man
Thanks for watching!
I’m getting 16.2 MPGs Highway in my 2024 2500 6.4 hemi running 87 octane at 70 mph
Thats awesome!! good work!! Thanks for watching and sharing!
Always great video! liked! Never been to Buc-ee's too. is that hands free driving a option or standard with the RHO?
Thank you! Cheers!
Same place I'm buying mine! Can't beat the deals they have! I'll have to drive mine back pretty far as well. Is there break in oil you have to change?
Awesome congrats!! They do a great job. I will probably change my oil here in the next thousand miles. I will have a video on this as I’m probably planning to do an oil analysis as well.
great review im just consern about the AC .. how was it ?
It never got above 60F to try it out!
Your mpg comparison with the Raptor R really shows how good Raptor R is , considering it's on 37's with 720 HP!
100% Ford does a pretty good job for efficiency! 5.2 is a special animal.
@CTECH-REVIEW
Yup , it is. Install a 3.8L Whipple, Larger TB, Full exhaust, and a tune ..1000+ hp
@@STEWDEE larger tb? thought the whipple's tb is already set pretty well, what tb did you go with
@@PretendNella
95mm
@@STEWDEE From soler? Thought those were the 5.0s
Every RHO I’m seeing on line are going for $80+k. Not affordable but they seem cool.
Call around several dealers selling for good prices! Thanks for watching.
Great review. That MPG with premium gas is disappointing. I’m surprised it can only drive in all wheel drive because that’ll naturally hurt your mpg
Yeah it is, I’m going to start testing different gas and see how it does, and yes, I think it may hurt a little.
If you get a tonneau cover it would increase your MPG especially over 75mph
More to come on this!!
I just bought a fully optioned out 25 Big Horn with the SO and I’m loving it so far!
My only concern is that at times the trans feels.. clunky and jerky. I’m assuming you haven’t experienced that with the HO?
No issues with trans...the ZF trans from my experience is best in class so I am not to worried about having issues with it.
@ yeah I have heard nothing but great things about. Think I should be concerned about it or just keep an eye on it to see if dealer needs to look?
The only thing bugging me with my one week old 25, unless I'm missing something, is every-time I want to change the AC fan speed I have to go into the comfort window and hit the bar. I do this a lot and my 2020 also had a dial under the screen.
I can do it on the side with the two fan buttons..does that not work on yours?
😂You can literally do it with one button (the TRX button) by the 4x4 selection
FYI, the OEM`s use 55 mph for calculating fuel economy.
You're right about that, this is just a "real-world" test!
Got 12.5 mpg in a new 2024 Ram Limited longhorn E torque on a 3000 mile trip
Thanks for watching, you got 12.5mpg with the hemi Etorque? Thats a huge trip! towing anything?
36 gallon tank is a must. This is a no go for me.
the RHO is a 33 gallon tank.
@@CTECH-REVIEW Didn't realize that but when I fill up my raptor I get 500 miles give or take on how you are driving of course. 33 is decent though.
How is the ride with the shocks? Looks like a nice truck congrats!! Time for a oil change
Thanks for watching. Pretty good. More sporty feeling than the raptor. A little stiffer. Also less body roll
Very Nice review and nice Truck👍 Congrats!
But with the MPG equivalent to the TRX, It doesn’t make sense to get this truck over a low mileage TRX. The Hellcat motor takes this truck into another league.
That's why I'm going to keep testing it and share more about its real-world MPG!
Thank you for watching and the kind comments!
My 2018 rubicon jl has the notifications for disabled vehicles and emergency vehicles.
that is a cool feature! that is new for me on factory nav!
Never been interested in RAM but these RHOs seem like a crazy bargain. I’m more interested in the comfort and suspension tech and an inline six pushing 500hp is plenty for me! I read people are getting $10k off still, does that sound right?
Thats why its great, find a better value truck for 2025!
Do you have to pay extra for the self driving system like GM and Chevy have to have on star subscription?
Not that I’m aware of, but I will look into this more. I didn’t see anything on a window sticker about this.
What do you mean GM and Chevy? GM is Chevy.. also they don’t have full self driving? It’s just super cruise and is meant for highways only.
Appreciate the review. Love my 24 37pp raptor but curious on your take the massage? Was it noticeable? Or just a gimmick? How does it compare to the Navigator? @ctech-review
Thanks for watching! It works great! The massaging works better in the RHO than our Navigator for sure!
@@CTECH-REVIEW Ford needs to get it together!
100%. It’s why I am not in a 25 raptor. All the cost reduction bs and decontenting has lost me as customer for a while.
Please check all your fluids. My transfer case and my rear diff were low.
oh yes! wow, how low were they?
@ differential was down almost a half a bag transfer case was down about a quarter of a bag. I used amsoil atf and Valvoline diff fluid
Unless you are experiencing pinging (detonation) you get BETTER MPGs with lower octane fuel. Octane is a flame RETARDANT not an enhancer. My guess is you would get the best MPG with 91. In fact the 93 is probably still burning as it goes into the exhaust manifold.
Interesting thought! I'll have to do some testing and see what I can find! Thanks for watching!
Ram hands down has the best looking trucks inside and out 🎉
I agree!
The RPMs run higher than other trucks on highway. That is what is killing the fuel economy. I guess gearing is high for rear end.
those 3.92 could be it, I show more about this topic on mpg loop video posting in a few days!
10-4. I never had a vehicle run that high of an rpm. Plus I have had 3:55 and lower. I always run around 1500-1600 Been a while since I have had 392. Still bad ass truck. Good luck with it.
Get that winter gas out and about10k miles on it and mpg should go up some.
That’s what I’m hoping too!
Does the RHO have the feature when driving at night in a dark area the brights come on/off automatically? Is the bright switch on the steering column?
I am excited to see what this RHO is all about
Do you rate this better over raptor f150 for long distance drive ?
I love how quiet the interior is, how premium the interior is, the heads up display works really well with polarized sunglasses and I like the hands-free driving. I do think the Raptor seat is a little more supple.
I would think the eight 8 vs the 10 speed in the raptor has something to do with the MPG's
I think that is part of it too, full time 4x4 auto, winter...we have a Raptor vs RHO video coming soon!
@ Can’t wait. Tinting that window is a game changer for six months of the year.
que tanto es el ahorro de gasolina comparado con la trx
Great question. I think it depends on the driving scenario but my buddy has a 2022 TRX and he drives similar to me and he’s getting between 9.5 and 11.5 MPG.
I have never wanted a TRX more.
Also, that inline 6 is basically a fiat engine at the end of the day. So, it’s a big dose of ouch.
At the end of the day, if you actually just wanted a truck to do truck things and tow competently, you wouldn’t come within 49 feet of this thing.
TRX is a great truck! I am curious what makes the Inline 6 a Fiat engine and the 6.2l not? Both were developed and designed during Fiat ownership.
Which truck absorbs bumps and seems smoother on the highway...RaptorR or your new RHO?
Great question...I talk about this exact topic on this next video! Its a bit of a mix between the two trucks!
How well did the massaging seats work?
Pretty good! I was happy with them. Better than the Navigator. I will see if I can do a specific video on this topic!
@@CTECH-REVIEW Thank you for the fast reply! That would be a great video. I forgot to ask... How quiet was the cab when at highway speeds?
how many times did you walk around the truck after valet brought it out? Just the thought of having to park it overnight in a hotel parking lot. 😩
haha I did a few times! small hotel, it went ok!
What is your sales guys name at Mark Dodge? I am ordering a RHO and I would love to work with the same person!
I worked with all 3 of these guys but technically Anthony/Aaron made it happen
For Sales reach out to the following
www.markdodge.net/staff.aspx
Aaron - Thomas - Anthony
So... When is it getting tuned?
Great question talking to some of the tuners now!
Yea I’ll stick to the eco boost getting 600 miles out of a tank at 16.8 mpg
Cant complain about that! Thanks for watching!
I am shocked by the fuel mileage. That's not as good as my hellcat durango lol.
I am closely watching this topic...more to come on it. My first full time 4xAuto truck so not sure what to expect compared to Raptors in the past.
They should’ve dropped this before the TRX
That would have been the smarter approach for Ram! smooth customers into this engine!
no 6'4'' box option......cant do short beds
had a 33 gal tank on 21 Laramie and would get that option for sure on a truck with this kind of fuel MPG....
Ram box would have been a cool option too!
Maybe I missed it but what was the deal you got on that truck?
I got the same deal everyone else off the street gets at MD, I did not get any special deal like other YT channels.
@@CTECH-REVIEW im not familiar with there deals. Is there money off msrp?
Is there an option to not have the passenger screen? That would be a waste for me
No unfortunately not! Wait maybe the base model doesnt have it!
