I just purchased this mouse and just got it today. And OMG, I love love love this mouse. Best mouse ever. I own several Logitech mouse like the G500 and 500s and a few others. I got tired of having to replace the cord as it always had a bend right at the mouse connection itself. Even though I really tried to keep the cord straight and preventing it from bending. There is nothing in front for it to bend but it still does. Then I start again to have cord issues. It was my 5th time replacing the cord for the mouse, so I had enough. I then purchased the MX-Master 3S in White. And the features alone seriously put a grin on my face. It came with a 40% charge on the battery already, I plugged it in and works perfectly. It matches my white mechanical keyboard. I am in love with it. I recommend 100%. I love how silent the buttons are. It's perfect for me, though I had to slow down the point. It was super fast. I am using the USB dongle. works wonders. No problems at all so far. this mouse works flawlessly with them.
The first one I bought was for Mac. Had issues with it being non-responsive, lag, just didn't work very well. Purchased the standard windows model and it functions flawlessly. I tried using the bolt connection, bolt was not more than 12" from the mouse, experienced issues, non-responsive, severe lag, mouse movement would actually chatter moving across the screen. Absolutely usable. Went back to blue tooth, problem solved, functioning flawlessly again.
I have problems both usb and bluetooth. I read a lot about usb, so I will skip that for now but bluetooth also has tiny bit lag. It doesn't feel smooth. Is yours smooth as trackpad or another mouse you have.
Love your review! I Love my 3S! The battery is insane, and the look and feel of using it is amazing! Those clicks finally gone, the wife can sleep in peace now!
I originally got the Logitech G502X but the side buttons were in the way, I didn’t use the DPI switch and honestly it was too light. Final straw was a high pitched hum/tone from my speakers when moving the cursor while at 1000Hz. It wasn’t as bad at 500Hz but still very noticeable meaning I was running it at 125Hz most if not all of the time. Needless to say I sent it back and have purchased the MX Master 3S (which I got cheaper than the MX Master 3 and only slightly more expensive that the G502X.
I've noticed that when I'm done scrolling... the screen sort of jumps up and down a time or two until the wheel settles into place. It didn't do this out of the box but while editing a 60 page Word Document I started scrolling more aggressively through the document and now I have this odd jumping problem. I wasn't being "rough" with the wheel, just scrolling it so it would travel that 1000 lines in a second.
happens all the time to me when playing EU4. Im scrolling through something, then as soon as i close out of the screen the map zooms out to max. Very annoying. The Darkfield version was better and cheaper
I've just purchased my mx master 3s and I'm having this problem as well. It's like a freespin of logitech g502. That when you scroll down it would scroll a bit up and down slower than what you'd scroll. It's like the scroll wheel of the mouse of early 2000's is much better than this new "state of the art" mouses that costs a fortune.
Been struggling with the apple magic mouse with my m1 mac for about 3.5 years now.. Needless to say I've had enough! I can't play games as my mouse always things I'm clicking or scrolling when I'm not and it's such a pain! I've had my eye on this mouse for ages and can't wait to get my hands on one, you've 100% convinced me
Just got the mouse delivered today. I like the customisation options in the Logi options+ and as you said the buttons are quite mushy and silent so this might be a turn off for many people who prefer more tactile feedback.
Update to my last comment, I'm using the windows version with my Mac and the Logitech bolt connector. It functions flawlessly. Very happy with this new MX Master 3S In fact I like it better than my Apple track pads because of the programable features and overall ergonomics.
The hump is a little high for my hand but ill get use to it. I actually have very low expectations because im getting it primarily for web browsing and work. I use the G502 Lightspeed for gaming. What matters is a wireless mouse with long battery life and comfy countours + multi featured buttons.
