  • Traditional breads made with wheat, and most gluten free breads, are not acceptable for a keto diet, as wheat and many other grains are inflammatory. But you CAN eat bread on keto, guilt free, by making your own.
Low carb bread mixtures are usually known for being too dense or crumbly when baked, but this recipe is not, thanks to a special mixture of ingredients that I share in this video that make this bread absolutely delicious!
Ingredients for the 3 ingredient Keto bread
    • 1 ½ cups whole golden flaxseed
    • 4 tbsp psyllium husk powder
    • 3 tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1 ⅓ cups hot water
Bake in the oven at 350 F for 50-55 min.
    .7 carbs per serving

Great vid! I tried and is very quick and easy. I enjoyed it best warm. I'm betting this same recipe will be reposted and retitled " Rustic Colon Cleanse" 😂

Did water at about 113 degrees , but think my psyllium husk may be stale so need fresh, was a beautiful loaf and so easy to make. For my very first attempt at making bread I am thrilled, Thank you ,Thank you, Thank you😊

Made this bread today, but it didn’t cook up like yours. I’m guessing the water was too hot when added in. It did rise while in oven, but fell after taking it out. I’ll retry again next week. I love the recipe because it is so simple, and just a few ingredients.

I now have two breads to try. I have to get a list made of items I don't have. I know I have a fresh bottle of sage. Going to grow my own herbs this next year. :-) Thanks loads.

Hi Kayne: Have you ever baked this bread in a sm. loaf pan? I'm just wondering if it matters. Of course l can try it, but thought l would ask if you had done it or not. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Not at all fresh out of the oven, but the consistency can become dense and viscous if stored for more than 2-3 days.

I'm interested in a previous bread recipe you made, but psyllium husk is a no-go for me. Can't stand the gummy texture. Can you see if a flax, oat fiber or oat fiber protein powder would work without almond flour which has a lot of oxalates? I really like your channel. You're adorable.

It makes 8-10 servings. Depending on how thick or thin the slices are cut.

What if I used Almond flour?

I’ve not tried it with almond flour, but a little experimenting might make it work!

Personally, I would've used oat fiber and yeast and a couple eggs and used two tbsp of xylium husk
