The show filled me with so much happiness and heartbreak and nostalgia everything was there. Even the new scenes they added that wasn’t in the game just went so well together. The subtle changes were actually decent.
This video was fantastic, this made me even more excited, especially the part where you said that after Episode 3 the show just goes up and never stops, i also kinda teared up because i know whats coming in Episode 1, and also that WE finally got what we wanted, a great video game adaptation and a great show in general THATS ABOUT MY FAVORITE GAME.
I just watched ep 1. I am blown away by the way the show made me feel. It feels like i am reliving the same emotions as when i played the game for the first time. It is the same TLOU that I love but expanded and in a new color. But it felt that they still stick close to the game. The acting in the show is something out of this world. In episode 1 especially i was captured by the performance of Sara`s actor and i have to say she did it better than in the game for me. The way how she delivered the lines and how she expressed emotions was simply amazing. And the chemistry she had with Joel made me believe that it was his daughter. The rest of the cast was amazing, especially Pedro Pascal. I was skeptical at first, but man he is the Joel we love. Ellie for me was okay honestly. In the first episode, she was a little weak and there was 1 line that i didn't like the way she delivered it but i have to see more of her. The show was able to capture the intensity that the game had when you come across an infected. It also hit all the dark and somber moments that the game had. Overall, if the quality of the season will be like this in the rest of the episodes i will have to say it might be my favorite TV show ever. Watching this episode and seeing how they introduced the cordyceps infection and how they explained it made me really think about part 3. We know that the rough script of part 3 already exists and with that knowledge, i believe Neil Druckman can direct everything with part 3 in mid where the focus of the game and the story will be to restore humanity/find the vaccine/and give Ellie her agency over what she wants to do with her life and some redemption arc for her and Abby. Super excited for what comes next. Thank you ND and HBO for bringing such an amazing show and giving it to fans.
I loved it, But some of the dialogue Kinda felt like fanfiction, Maybe its just Because some of the Lines comes straight from the game and Im really used to them, so it felt Kinda weird to me, But really great
Fr I think we just gotta get used to it and try and act like the game doesn’t exist 💀, I could tell the show is good, it just feels off. If I were a first time viewer then I could understand how it would make it better. The game still hit harder to me tho (prolly because it’s the first time the story was told)
The episode was amazing and man I already love Anna torv as Tess. Gabriel Luna is TOMMY. Heard a friend complaining the story of the episode is not as good as the game. It’s the exact story LOL. Man some fans complaints just makes no sense.
Disappointedly average episode, pushing various political correctnesses, avoiding action gun fight scenes 😳, actor who plays Robert looks like "very dangerous guy" 😳, they made Joel to look dumb and soft, and connection between him and Ellie is so bad, everything is rushed... HUGE disappointment
@@apnerdsI didn't write hieroglyphics so that you don't understand anything, English is not my native language... I wrote that the series is disappointingly average, most of the casting is missed, most of the actors act very badly, an example of the actor who plays Robert, instead of looking physically dangerous, he looks like some little feminized nerd, the only bright spot is Sarah and the first 25-30 minutes, the rest of the episode is very bad... It's shocking that every detail and part of the game is better than the series, the actors who play the characters in the game act better and more realistic than all actors in the series except Sarah...
