Thanks for posting this! Was such a rush job I don’t really remember it, and coming out to jam in the middle of a set was pretty weird, couldn’t quite settle in hahaha! But I had a great time :) Something Nice to look back on :)
You absolutely killed it Rabea! I was so glad to see you guys collaborate. Congratulations on your own Neural DSP plug in as well. you're an inspiration to us all
Loved it, loved it! You did great. If I was you, I would've shaked all over and been half paralyzed... stepping in on stage during a sold out Plini show, who the hell can do that?! :D Bravo, friend!
How can i never have heard about Rabea before ?? !! His first 3 licks , and his tone, litterally gave me goose bumps. Only a few guitarists does this to me but thats Satriani and Eric Johnson , Vai and such.. Loved this jam, 3 very skilled players on the stage. Plini is also a quite new for me and love his guitar playing and tone as well.
Love Rabea. Loved hearing everyone’s different killer tones. Guitar nerds rejoice. The keyboard tone floored me as well - I kept wanting to skip ahead to hear my boy Bea but the mesmerizing keys wouldn’t let me. :)
Rabea is hands down the best of them, he is the most musical and to me it feels there a lof of emotion behind every note. Not some show off shredding, but actual telling a story.
Rabea 4 the win! All great guys, something just natural and refreshing about his approach in comparison w the other cats. I also appreciated the fact that his tone was the one with less effects making his stand out sonically as well. Sure, some of those other cats may have had more “technical chops, licks” , but I like to hear a musician make music not rehash ultra fast licks that they have rehashed time and time again. Rab sounded more musical to me within the context . I actually think he made THEM step their game up and they felt they had to play these ultra fast runs almost to say to him: “ I can play faster” but then Rab hung right in there w the tweedly deeing, but STILL with extra feel and soul power. IMHO🙏🏾
I love everything you do Rabea!! As the speed contest increased in intensity, Rabea is like, "Dudes, I'm kinda over the whole, fast as you can thing." Nothing offensive. lol Great music and guitarists.
Some comments let me feel that this was a competition. I like Rabeas playing very much. More melodical and not as technical. And I liked his sound more than the sound of the others.
@@East_Coast_Ghost86 You cited musicians that were breaking ground 30+ years ago. This video has talented musicians making fine music, but none of it is close to new. A lot of the video would darn near be at home in "And now, your 5-day forecast." Again, talented players in this, but they haven't advanced the art like the innovative legends you named. Still enjoyable, though.
Plini on the left, and Rabea on right 🔛 and my fav on the 7 string in middle! 2 X 6's = 12, and the 7 in the middle 🎶 ✨️ 🎶 = complete mixolodian fusion jazz rock 🪨 🎸
I have to agree with quite a few of you, Rabea just oozes that extra something, the feels the tingles, smooth and juicy. Don't get me wrong the other 2 can blow those frets away, but felt to robotic. All in all amazing.
Rabea looks intimidated, no reason to really, he can more than keep up with Plini and the gang as he clearly demonstrated! Confidence bro, you got where you are and you earned it and you belong there.
If I imagine myself going on stage of a SOLD OUT Plini show... haha, I would be shaking so much I couldn't probably even hold a guitar. The rest of the band was super relaxed and confident. If Rabea had played the set prior with them, I'm sure he'd be super relaxed and chill by this moment. But he had to really jump straight into the deep end, which is why he seems nervous. I'm actually super impressed how well he kept it together! :)
He’s not intimidated at all! Rebea is a beast! Have Plini set in on a frog leap concert and see how they look playing in that genre. I think rebea is won of the most versatile guitarist today!
@@dvsdez because Rabea plays with soul not math rock. Sorry but he is a jack of all trades. He can play anything. He needs to do his own thing now. It’s his time to shine. He’s surpassed those that discovered him. If you want to sit and listen to the boring ear guitar playing continue listening to Pliny and the others. It’s horrid.
Hm,all three largely ignoring the option to lay out some fluid, plausible lines following the chord progression (specifically Rabea and Plini) but rather making a meaningless wankfest out of it.
Bea is far from average. He plays with more feel than Plini. Plini is very technical but it sounds like diarrhea fingers after a while. ua-cam.com/video/ljPW0Om4gQ8/v-deo.html

I was there and this was one of the best parts of the whole gig 👍
You played fantasticly.
Mate, best tone for sure! You killed it!

rabea is one of the greatest such feeling-drummers make the greatest guitarists.
Just love Rabea, such a gem in the music world for us. Killer tone, great phrases... just awesome.

Just stumbled onto this! This was my favourite jam of the tour! So much fun getting nerdy with the boys!
Thanks for your comment! I loved your Aristides... thought it was pink in the lighting but I guess it is orange. I have a few Tiddies myself, haha!
Love Rabea. Loved hearing everyone’s different killer tones. Guitar nerds rejoice. The keyboard tone floored me as well - I kept wanting to skip ahead to hear my boy Bea but the mesmerizing keys wouldn’t let me. :)
Ok that was a treat. Of course Rabea was there to finish his Neural plugin.
Thanks for uploading this moment!! Loved it!!
Rabea killed it with his insane licks, hands down the best guitarist on stage.
All the love u guys are showing Bea... it warms my heart. Yeah he was amazing
Thank you so much for this resource. Two of my fav guitarists in the same room
The “4th best guitarist’s” tone was amazing
Thanks so much for posting this! The sound quality in my Meze Audio headphones was incredible!

Improv is a whole different beast than writing tbh
Awesome, thanks for sharing this!!
I am super impressed with the person that recorded this. Wow does it sound fantastic. 3D sound.
Haha, glad you like it! It's the standard Samsung Galaxy S22.
@@oskarpajunen The best marketing for Samsung, bootleg recordings from the audience :) But seriously, it sounds really decent.
That nord solo is out of this WORLD !
Rabea with them pink floyd sounding solos me likey.
This chord progression is so good.
Was it a 1-7-b7-6 progression?
Rabea’s tone. Jesus. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
You said it. Rabea is Tone Jesus 😂

loved that little keyboard jam at the beginning
I love everything you do Rabea!! As the speed contest increased in intensity, Rabea is like, "Dudes, I'm kinda over the whole, fast as you can thing." Nothing offensive. lol Great music and guitarists.
That was fantastic, thanks for sharing!
Oh yes!! Thanks for posting this Bud! So epic! Rabea you are such an inspiration Bro!
Indeed thanks for posting! You rock \m/
Plini transitioning from the quite kid to the cool kid is fun to watch lol
"Who happens to be here for some reason" 😄
* cough * Plugin * cough *
I was at this show. It happened literally the night before the plugin dropped hahaha
Clicked coz of Rabea but damn what an amazing drummer.
Rabea plays sweet child o' mine @10:05
I was there also,
what an amazing night 💗
Next time in YO-talo, Tampere ✊!!
Soooon!
Thanks so much for sharing this moment.🤟
Good to see our man Troy back on the kit again.
Wow!
I would've LOVED to be this in spirit!
The world needs more of THIS amidst her life.
We'd all be a better place to hear!
This is so badass that badass is not even a badass enough word to describe how badass this is
Jake sounded really great here
Some comments let me feel that this was a competition. I like Rabeas playing very much. More melodical and not as technical. And I liked his sound more than the sound of the others.
I think Plini was joking to be self effacing . Not competition.
Well, that was pleasant. :) Much thanks for the video.
The bit with the 3 of them was insane 🔥
2 me favs on stage.Good Times 🤘🏿😎
Rabea is awesome, but holy shit jake's playing is so tasteful, man does not waste a single note
thanks for the upload!!
Who was the 4th best guitarist?...I couldn't make it out when Plini said it...
The 11:43 run is just perfectly phrased
Geez Bea can effin play!
There’s a lot of talent on that stage. If ‘I’ were on the stage ‘I’ would be the second best player! Everyone else would be tied for first 😢
Dave just pulled me slightly left of center, and my wife of 30 yrs. said "Yeah, Okay"...damn ya'll, what a groove...lol.
This all progressive djent guitarists constantly soloing movement is starting to feel a lot like Kenny G smooth jazz period.
Uuuhhh keereen banget 👍👍👍❤❤
Shit yeah! Plini with Rabea!!!
A shred-off... too almost amusing speed levels... that was great... BUT, If that had turned into a Riff-off... Rabea smokes them all!
Rebea is so fn melodic you can just feel his playing. While the others I dont
AGREED. The only one with feeling.
Thanks
Is this the new G3 or what
FFW to 1:55 for the music.
this was so sweet!
That was so good
does anyone know who is the drummer?
Troy Wright!
@@oskarpajunen thanks!
Wow, this is really really cool 🤘🏿😎
Incredible!
Rabea is the man!
This is so exciting... These are the new Steve Vai's Joe Satriani's Paul Gilbert's, Jason Beckers and Marty Friedmans.....
Yet more boring than all of them.
@@davidfaustino4476 what drugs are you on??

Why is Plinis stage banter so much like Mikael Akerfeldt? Lol
keys were given me wii store vibes
Sooooo goood!! 🤘
amazing !!

Come on Plini, why you gotta do Jake like that xD
Bea's tone was insane
G3 eat you heart out! These guys are up there with the best guitar players on the planet right now!!
oh yeaaaaaaaaaa
RABEA!!!
Wow didn't see that coming , H3 maybe ; }
Mega 👌🏻
G3 Next Gen
Wow what a f’n treat you had with Bea!
Jake is so good !
Sure is!! He was on fire at the Sydney show!!
😎
fkn awesome. please bring that entire show to Atlanta🫡
Noicccccce!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
F*ing Amazing!
Epic
🤘👍

Woooohhhh
Oof! Awesomeness
as good as any out there :)
Sweet fucking mergatroid!
The best players have the best tone ,go figure
Would 100% rather listen to stuff like this than anything from Impulse Voices. So good.
It really sucks that Rabea has to bend down to the cable! Why don't you have a stage roadie??
Sorry Rabea can't play in that style music it's another language….Jake🔥🔥🔥⚡️
I thought the big man was class! I guess music is subjective though….
To me rabea is top guitarist.but i wish for him to find a unique tone .🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥❤💖💖
Maybe a more vintage tone would suit him

Aye, you’re in a vacuum it appears bud
@@robinho1978. Sure.
Rabea is an average player, what's he doing sharing the stage with Plini???
I definitely wouldn’t call any of his music average lol
