Talk talk is so dodgy I half expected them to tarmac my drive without asking then holding my kids ransom until I paid. It needs shut down. There is no such thing as "fibre", TalkTalk throttle your Internet until you ask for and upgrade. Then you upgrade and they throttle you less. You can't have "fibre" if no fibre optics have been installed. I can also drop another big bomb shell. TalkTalk is not compatible with amazon echo device's. ONCE AGAIN!!!! YOU CAN'T GET A FIBRE UPGRADE BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO "FIBRE" OPTIC IN YOUR HOUSING AREA!!!
I wish I could switch to Sky but my parents won’t listen to me. TalkTalk is rubbish and if I do switch, I’ll never miss having it! It’s so slow and garbage
I agree TT are a total washout. we had fibre put into our village and up to my property. it came down a pole then underground to our house. the Openreach engineer didn't have a guard for the pole and left the cable loose, the hedge grew and when the hedge down the lane was cut so went the cable in two. now Openreach wants TT to report it so they can repair it even though they left the cable loose and TT wont report it as I have already tried to with OR. Ive informed both parties what happens when I want to connect to FTTP. OR said they will put a guard over the cable but not repair it. TT still wont report damaged cable.
I didn't realise you were in Hyde mate, I've followed you for ages I'm in Denton, I've been with Virgin for years always been happy with the speed, customer support is just as shit as the rest but I very rarely have to deal with them so that doesn't bother me. Do you do battery replacements for Nokia 8's
2mb is fine for uploads I’ve never had issues with it, it’s not that bad. I’ve got the 73mb speed from TalkTalk and always get around 70mb. It runs down a copper line (fibre to the cabinet) the reason why they can no longer support that speed is because there could be too much demand and selling you a 63mb speed would be misleading, would you rather they lie to you? If TalkTalk can’t give you what they want try another ISP
Megabits, not megabytes. 12 megabytes is 96 megabits. 37 megabytes is 296 megabits. 2 megabytes is 16 megabits. Based on the test results, 12.1Mbits - 15.8Mbits, TalkTalk's broadband page automatically chose the maximum that your line could handle based on them results.
looking at trying to use another router other than my talktalk one but cant find anything on youtube. My connection is crap 16mbps max then 5 secs later down to 3/4/6 mbps. Ive done test, they say phone line fine. 😂 can you speak to a humam ? to get an engineer out.
Try Argos but you should check using a speed checker what you maximum is beforehand, no point buying a router that's high capacity (like 100mbps) if you line can only give 15mbps.
Yea I have 3mbps upload from talktalk I cant do twitch at all. Just say your switching with another provider that has a higher upload and they will quickly change their tune. Its all a competition and talktalk wants your money.
Just be like me don't give a shit about any of them to be thoughtful none of them giving shit about their customers keep switching at the end of the term for a better deal that's how I bullshit them to beat them on the price

Talk talk is rubbish your better off with Virgin Media. I was with Talk Talk and they messed me about. It's cheaper for first year with virgin £26.95pm 100 meg. Second year just renegotiate with them £30pm

Left TalkTalk in 2018 for Sky and never going back. The problem with TT is the time and hassle it takes to get a repair completed.

TALK TALK IS RUBBISH EVERYONE KNEW THIS FOR YEARS.

Actually, before i moved to SSE, i was using TalkTalk, trust me, their internet is proper shit, thank god im using SSE now
