I left them because of the customer service, they use India to handle this which in it self doesn't sound like a problem at all but every time I called I literally could not understand what they were saying to me because of the accent being so strong. I maybe understood 1 in every 3 words and it made the whole experience very frustrating when I was trying to report a problem with the service and I had no idea what they was saying back to me

I agree and as a british indian even i find it difficult. The main problem is there are alot of scam call sites in india so whenever i talk to a legit company that operate out of india im always very cautious
Just use live chat instead. A lot easier.
Where do you livr for 16ms pingb
Biggest mistake I made moving to 150 full fibre, keeps dropping out, slow speeds. Better off on copper connection
i was upgraded to talktalk full fibre 150 3 weeks ago before that i was fibre 65 with the old copper line since being upgraded the service has been an absolute nightmare my speeds keep dropping out they sent me an eero 6 router and eero mesh router before the upgrade i was using their Fast Router and never had one problem with it but now my speeds are being throttled they said i would be getting 140 mbps but there only seems to be 92 coming through the connection doesnt seem to pick up on my laptop which is only 4 months my laptop their customer service is an absolute disgrace i want to go back to my fibre 65 and they wont let me
Lol the speed isn’t guaranteed to your devices. There are other factors which interfere with the speeds you’ll actually get. The connect you use such as WiFi and the distance your devices are from the router. The servers your devices connect too are a big factor too. I have 1GB speeds but it’s more like 300mb because of the factors I’ve mentioned.
@@Alexander_l322 I never had any issues with my speeds or connection before upgrading after upgrading the service has been atrocious
I had this problem in Jan 24. I was with vodafone on their fibre speed 2, worked perfectly and was getting 70mbps consistently. Upgraded to full fibre 100, openreach came out to install, since then download speed was between 1-5mbps. Did live video chat to customer service to show ethernet hook up and speed test and they did nothing about it. Cancelled a week later. Dubious of going full fibre again with anyone just in case I run into same problem.
@@simonwolfendale790 lil update it is now Feb 20th and my speed are as strong as ever my speed test comes back at 140 to 150 Mbps the only time it cuts out is at night Which I believe they are doing updates and then In the morning it's back on at full speed
@@adriant1940you do realise all internet providers that use FTTC use BTs infrastructure for you internet don't you? Therefore they'll be no difference which provider you go with unless you go with a full fibre package with Virgin or some other full fibre company.
4:14 "we don't suffer from evenings congestion " dose this mean u dont get affected if it's peak periods or over subscribed areas
We don't personally, it depends on the area. This will normally be quite similar if you're using Openreach, no matter which provider you choose.
@broadbandsavvy yeah it varies depending on area and how many people are using the service all at once thanks 🙏
so i just did two tests on one one my smartphone and one on my laptop my Android speed test results are Ping ms 31 DWNL was 83.2 and UPL was 26.6 and the my laptop test was Ping 16ms DWNL was 28.68 and UPL was 27.92 its an absolute disgrace im paying £35.50 every month
Keep calling them and get them or Openreach to fix it. Sounds like a problem with your line. I'm not sure that going back to Fibre 65 would help if they have made a hardware change (if an engineer had to come out to your house).
Depends on the time of day, wifi will not ever give the full speed you pay for unless you sit right next to the router although it probably still won’t get the best speeds. Only a wired connection has a chance and you still have to factor in other things which is out of yours and your isp control.
@@Alexander_l322 so what your saying is they fed a crock of shit when the gave me 2 eero 6 routers and told me my speeds would be faster than my last previous speeds great
I just installed my new Broadband wireless router,Now got a new 18 month Contract,I now be on Full fibre Broadband,Also keep my old Wireless Broadband router for a spare now,Im now going to do a line test see how much quicker my Internet is now
Rest in peace brother. Talktalk is shit
Several posters mentioning Indian call centres. However, my understanding is that Talk Talk use call centres in The Philippines. They did have centres in India and South Africa, but each time I call them now they are Philippines-based.
I was a Tiscali customer when Talk Talk took them over, so have been with them for a very long time. I'm on Fibre 65 with copper wires to the house. I've been reasonably satisfied with them, certainly enough to not bother moving. However, I have been having speed issues recently and reported it to Talk Talk. They have a month to sort it out, otherwise I am able to leave with no penalty, or so I was told. I still have about 6 months on my contract, so may stick it out until then. It's not enough to affect what I do on the net, but I am seriously considering moving if they don't resolve the issue.
They are a joke im cancelling my co tract june next year im stuck with them atm 😢
Il be honest im on fibre 65 two accounts two defferent package's and there shocking im still with them 7 years bb and phone. Talking is shocking as based india. Put online chat best way.
all this 35mbs 65mbs and 150mbs of download is crap, download any app or something like garmin routes a video and watch the top right of your computer and i`m lucky to get over 6mbs download. speed test says 32mbs every single time
You are not using the correct router. The router you need for 150 talktalk fibre is the eero white router. The old router only goes up to the 65 speed
In the past, when we purchased, they sent this router on the Fibre 150 plan. It is not limited to 65 Mbps. The new one you get now is better, but this old one isn't bad.
I have the same router and signed up for fibre 65, 3 years ago, the last 18 months it never has gone over 43,
Don’t join talktalk
Talktalk is shit, named worst provider in UK by Ofcom And last year by Which?
