I saw an interview with Jimmy Page in which he said he remembers going on stage and going off stage but while they are playing music, he just lets it take him over and he doesn’t always remember what happened on stage.
Before Led Zep, Robert Plant was a frequent visitor to our blues club and he was always willing to get up and do a couple of numbers with us. Great stage presence.
The solo is like it’s own song. It has an intro, outro, and repeating phrases (like a chorus). It’s the guitar solo Beethoven would have written and I can’t think of a higher compliment
Don't over look the fact that JP is playing that solo while reaching over the 12 string part of his double guitar, making it much more difficult to do. Pure genius at work.👏
In my opinion "Does anybody remember laughter?" refers to the grim and miserable state the UK was in at the time ...eg Energy Crisis and three day working week. Perhaps Planty forgot he was across the pond, or maybe the US were in dire straits themselves at the time too.

The Gibson 12-string on Pages guitar makes one of the sweetest sounds ever when he plays it. I've seen others who play the same guitar but it's not the same sound. Saw them in 75 & 77 and both times it was such a great sound. Nobody else constructs the guitar into their songs like they did. Love your reactions guys!

to fully appreciate LZ, please react to 2 songs...."how many more times" live from earls court 1970 (january)...it demonstrates amazing range of emotions...power, boogie woogie, sonic blues....after you have listened to it...then react to "ten years gone" from the live 1977 LA forum concert (june)...
it expresses the amazing sensitivity in jimmys head....this band dwarfs all others....!!!!
I love how Plant can’t fully scream the line guuuuuuunnn in HMMT from RAH and improvises 🎼I couldn’t make it that time” love his humor
That 20 minute rendition of that song from earl's court was amazing. No other band could do that.
@@frankdascoli709 said from a true LZ expert!
@@robertcorona3362 agreed...threading in so many different songs during the 20 minutes...for me the best version of all time!
david greene and they kick off with an insanely good version of Were Gonna Groove. Just “ good evening” flick the smoke and jump directly into a perfectly synchronized start. Amazing chemistry! The show also showcases how good Percy was in the early days.
watch no quarter live '73 during this same performance. at their peak
You also need to do When the Levee Breaks, Going to California, Battle of Evermore, Ocean, No Quarter. This is a very deep rabbit hole if you want that journey.
Zeppelin are THE GOAT!!!!!!!
Zeppelin live 1975 earl's court.. " In My Time of Dying". Will blow you away too.
Jimmy Page is the best of all time. Pure genius. You guys just earned a sub
I saw Led Zeppelin twice. You have to listen to The Song remains the Same and The Rain Song.. You must listen to it live from this concert.. One goes into thee other . I promise you that the rain song is so beautiful you will never forget
Laughter never goes out of style, ever.Great reaction.
I saw them 6th row center in Dallas, I was about 16. Fell in love! Seen Page 4 other times, and Plant 5 times. Always shit grin. 😁. Plant last time was 2019. LISTEN TO THE BAND YES- Gates of Delirium live
