Ok My #LedHeadz are going to love this. Its between Led zep, and two other artist that are up for what band or hiphop group is going to be the first video ever to reach 100k on this channel . this is your chance to show rock can beat hip hop and modern day music even on a hiphop channel. so far you have a good lead look on my community page to see how far ahead you are . if you want to win watch the entire video all the way through so the view counts grab all the phones and tune in and show the new gen what real music is
Nice job. You pick up on stuff that Zep fans wouldnt notice - Robert Plant picking up a tambourine to support the action during solo for example. You probably already figured this out, but they are a British band. Probably the most influential band in hard rock - most of their other famous songs have superheavy iconic riffs that have been sampled endlessly. Kashmir and Whole Lotta Love are probably the most famous of their heavy tracks. I think you are more likely to recognise them.
Loved that reaction. I still have my poster from Robert Plant...the singer from that performance from back in the day!. Freebird? Ill have to look and see if you have done that from Lynyrd Skynryd. It's always the debatable ? of which is best...that or Stairway. Of course Ive loved them both since the 70s. Now Im loving Tom McDonalds genius songs.
Yes it is so sad and criminal that much of the live concert footage available to watch and listen to has been auto tuned. Nothing is raw and authentic anymore.
He's not even that young!!! My 14 year old nephew LOVES Led Zeppelin. So does my friend's 17 year old and her girlfriend. There's hope for some young people yet 👌🏼
Honey, I'm 76, and I've been listening to these guys since the 1970s. They are English and are my all-time favorite band. Play Kashmir or Whole Lotta Love to see a different dynamic. Robert Plant has a phenomenal voice, and the rest of the band is just as good in their own right. They no longer tour because most of them are older than me now. Yeah, the grandmothers of today knew how to rock it! Led Zeppelin has a whole repertoire of amazing songs. That love is why they were so famous. They Rock!
Saw them live in 77 in The Garden NYC. Top 5 of live concerts I’ve seen along with Bowie, Floyd, Yes, Tull and of course Queen and so many others. I’m a lucky old lady!
At that tribute performance Jason Bonham (John Bonham's son - JB was the original drummer) played the drums. Robert Plant said that seeing John's son was a really emotional moment.
I literally lost count of how many times during this video I found myself saying, "Dude, you ain't seen nothin' yet!" 😉 So glad that you appreciated it, and it was great watching your reaction when various elements (that I knew were coming) kicked in.
And those of us who grew up listening to this KNEW EVERY SINGLE WORD, EVERY SINGLE NOTE TO EVERY SONG - and the lyrics actually had MEANING. And yes, junior. They're a British band.
@@cubscoutmanisn’t that the truth!! There was so much variety in music that we could pick and choose a genre and it would have amazingly good, natural talent top hits! How can we enjoy the musical talent of today when we have thirty years of the best music ever made and sung to compare it to?🇨🇦
@@bonniewood5286 Well put Bonnie, I find it very hard to even attempt to get into any of the newer music. We have all of the good stuff already there that has more staying power. New music made with electronic toys or just the same old rap beat does nothing for me. I will always go back to all of the stuff we grew up with. It was so good then that nobody now can even come close to making the grade, try as they may. People are too distracted, and entertained by their smartphones, and they will never unplug from them long enough to put the time into making good music.
So many of their songs would blow your mind. Kashmir, Immigrant Song, Whole Lotta Love, No Quarter, Misty Mountain Hop and so many more. They were incredibly prolific. I love that some of their music is so heavily influenced by Lord of the Rings, like The Battle of Evermore.
Led Zeppelin recorded this in 1971, way before Lord of the Rings. It almost makes me cry to realize how many young people missed out on Led, Pink Floyd and many others who influenced music even today!
And IF you want to hear DRUMS, try the full length version of MOBY DICK. Buckle up buttercup as you and your headphones will need a rest after that experience!!!
Jimmy page was in the early Ysrdbirds, and was also in John Mayall Bluesbreakers band. When he left Eric Clapton replaced him. These guys are British rock royalty. They even had their own Jumbo Jet!
I heard somewhere that this is one of the most technically complex songs ever in rock music! In any case, it defines one of the reasons our 70s rock can never be duplicated. It wasn’t just the music, it was the reasons behind the music. Best review on this video I’ve seen yet. You rock!
This video clip was recorded LIVE at Madison Square Garden during the filming of their concert movie “The Song Remains the Same”. The concert was part of the 1973 U.S. tour and the movie was released in 1976. It’s definitely worth seeing if you haven’t.
Kashmir is great too matter of fact singer Robert Plant and lead guitarist Jimmy Page were both asked in separate interviews years ago if they had to pick one song as their favorite which one they admitted it has to be Kashmir because theres really alot put into Kashmir instrumentally etc
Jimmy Page is still considered one of the greatest guitar players ever, right up with there with Clapton and Hendrix. John Bonham, thought he met an early death, still retains being a top 3 drummer today. And no one can be as individual singer than Robert Plant. The band sold 300 million records! They’re gods.
Accent is British...they are an English band. Jimmy Page...best guitarist to ever grace the planet...John Bonham...best rock drummer of all time...John Paul Jones best musician on bass/keyboards/mandolin...Robert Plant best rock vocals ever/harmonica!
@@bjsmith6187 "technical" ability doesn't make a great guitarist. It is the emotive magic that rates Page the Wizard. Sure Prince was great too....Clapton...Mr. Slow hand...sorry he makes me yawn. But Page, he captures the emotion in his playing. And Hendrix, too...an emotive player...he's up there, too.
When the Levee Breaks will convince anybody to listen to and become a fan of Led Zeppelin. It’s a great way to get started listening to them for sure. Great suggestion.
@@violet04nunya98 True. There are so many elements to that song that make it so unique and listenable to over and over again. The drums suck you in at the beginning but from there everything else going on in the song makes it such a classic, iconic song.
I decided 40 years ago that I would not listen to Stairway to heaven ever again because I heard it literally hundreds of times. This made me literally cry not only that he had no idea they are the best band of all time, but he brought joy to the song for me again
Dude...Dazed And Confused from this concert in 1973 is 28 minutes of Jimmy losing his mind on the guitar!! You won't believe it! They are in their 20s. OMG...any live performance is amazing!! Trust me! Try The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song from this concert!! Killer! They are always in sync and crazy good!
100% agree. Dazed and confused from this concert will blow your mind. The song remains the same is the name of a song,an album, and a movie. Try the song remains the same, that traditions into the rain song from this concert. They belong together
it looks like your request is going to be the next on the list. good job! the majority seems to be with you. thanks for taking out the time and watching the video along with the time that it took you to write this animated post. you have me excited are you a writer
Led Zeppelin is and will always be the greatest band around. On the 70s people knew how to play the instruments. Not like today's so-called artist using computer generated sound. There is no talent like 70s talent. Dazed and confused a great song. Battle of evermore underated song.
I love this resurgence of older music with a new generation- who are dying to hear REAL music. No auto tune, real musicians, real performers. It’s not a Dance video- it’s a music video. Led Zeppelin is a great start. And there are many others. Keep listening.
I’m 64 graduated in 75 and I grew up with Led Zeppelin and it was so awesome to watch your reaction and your appreciation of them. The were truly the Gods of Rock in our era and beyond.
I found the kid kind of a poser. He faked listening. Stopped the song five times within the first 16 bars. Five times. He had a comment every time. Hadn't even heard one lyric. Poser.
Because Paige Bonham and Plant were so special it's understandable but I'm always sad that bassist, John Paul Jones oftentimes gets overlooked. He was most complete musician of all in the band. I've heard him described as a musical swiss army knife and was a fantastic bassist, composer and arranger.
We need more love for bassists. I'm a multi-instrumentalist. Started with piano when I was very young, but I fell in love with the bass. Piano initiated me into music, and bass solidified my love for music
Proficent Pro Studio Musician Bass, Keyboard, Lute, Mandalin as a Teenager met Page there recording on many albums together for years before Zep Band formed
The singer Robert Plant is still doing music and does tour but Led Zeppelin is no more since John Bonham there DRUMMER died in 1980 and as much as I'd love to see them get back together I sure understand
I’m 70 years old and I grew up listening and seeing these great musicians. My son became a guitar player because of Led Zeppelin 😎 imagine something like this playing and we’re all kicked back, chillin’ . No dance music because we’d be too high to move so we really listened to the words and the instruments 🎸 😂☮️❤️ You should really react to The Eagles “Hotel California” live performance. Magic guitar solo 🎸 😎
The group 'Heart ' did a rendition of this song during a tribute to this timeless band. The original drummer passed...his son played with Heart on this tribute. Definitely check it out. Powerful. Look a stage full to present the power
One of the best bands ever. I remember the day John Bonham died, people were crying and freaking out. I've met Robert and he was seriously kind and normal. He didn't even know my now ex had worked with some huge name friends of his. He just had a conversation with a stranger in line at the grocery store like any other human.
I can vouch for your opinion of Robert Plant! I have had the the privilege of meeting him several times and having a lengthy conversation with him, he is the most down to earth individual you could ever meet.
Led Zeppelin are legends, yes they have so much more in their arsenal so much more. The band from England started in 1968 ended sadly 1980 when John Bonham died. John Bonham (drummer) aka Bonzo one the greatest drummers in rock. John Paul Johns (keys, bass, mandolin) aka JPJ the glue of the band. Robert Plant (singer, harmonica, songwriter) aka the golden god. Jimmy Page (guitar, songwriter, producer, and founder of the band) aka guitar god. Checkout When The Levee Breaks great drums.
"I must have been living under a rock..." im in my seventh decade and watching a hip hopper discover Stairway to Heaven gives me reason to live a little longer...you got my subscribe!
Just to let you know, classic rock had dozens of great bands but Led Zeppelin was king. It was a different time, a different era. We called it hard Rock. Today, it's classic rock. Sorry, music isn't made like this today. Their is a ton of music lovers that living under that same rock. Don't be surprised when you hear more of Zep and some others from back in that day. You will freak out. You have just begun!
Check out Heart’s version done at the Kennedy Center Led Zeppelin was being honored by the center. It is a excellent version of the song as well and you get to see the band’s reactions to their song being sung well
Love it when people who dont usually listen to rock, especially the older stuff listen to a great song like this for the first time and that smile stays on their face for the whole 10min + of the song
How is it that a 60 year old white women finds herself here on a young rapper channel. Because of this. Your open mind impresses me, perhaps it time for me to be opened minded also. They are all here except drummer. Your a nice young man and I’ll come back to visit. Thank you sir peace✌️

@@ROMsquad Hello! I’m from Tennessee. So nice you responded. Found you accidentally, but truly have been enjoying ur videos. If we watch TV long enough, we’re made to believe that due to our race, where we live and even gender that we’re not supposed to like each other. What ur doing is bringing people together through the universal love of music. That’s extremely important right now in our divisive country. Thank you young man for bringing my music to ur generation and bringing ur music to mine. Be true to yourself with ur reactions. I’m a huge Led head, but there are some of their songs that don’t care for. So if u find one like that, stand ur ground and delete the comments! I have a lot of respect for what ur doing. I particularly liked The Battle of Evermore. Note the references in some of the writing to The Lord of the Rings. Oh, and if you haven't seen Heart do Stairway To Heaven with Led Zepplin in the Audience when Led Zepplin was being honored, THAT is a must see performance. Heart did a magnificent job but the sentiment, the love in the air as band watches Bonham's son play in his dead father's place...it's something special.
Whole Lotta Love has one of the filthiest riffs EVER. You, sir, are awesome and I love your open-mindedness and joy! I'll be back for more reactions, I subscribed!
British rock at it’s best. Robert Plant’s voice! Jimmy Paige guitar! Lyrics. Deep. Lyrics. Lyrics. Lyrics. They got honored by the Kennedy Center. Heart sand this for them. Take a listen to Ms Wilson from Heart singing this. John Bonham’s son Jason playing the drums and Robert Plant tearing up. Epic.
Heart honoring them brought tears to my eyes! My 36 yr old son knows who they are and today still listens to them and many more great ones. Thank goodness we exposed him and his siblings to them, Stevie ray vaughn , Elvis, Roy Orbison, heart, fleetwood mack, and on and on! I think it exploded a great love of all music in them.
"I don't think this is their only big hit." I love it! Naw dude, there's only about 107 more. You just simply started with their biggest and by biggest it's only generally considered to be one of, if not the best rock song ever made as well as among the top songs period ever made. Keep checking them out my man and there will be no disappointment n your future, I guarantee you.
I was at Madison Square Garden in nyc under one of the large speakers where they played this song, it had just come out to the public, it was a trip without the acid. I lost a degree of my hearing under that huge speaker, but had no regrets because I gained a high vibration in my soul! Now this is music, I feel sorry that todays sounds are so mechanical and the younger generation accepts it as music. Mechanics don’t touch the soul, how sad!
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page are still alive and look Fantastic. Plant is still recording. He has done a couple of recordings with Allison Krauss. He has done many interviews that are worthwhile.
Dude, I feel sorry for your generation. I was a teenager in the 1970’s and 80’s surrounded by these incredible rock bands. Led Zeppelin is the pinnacle. Listen to more and be converted.
Oh, so, so true. Born in 1974, I grew up with live music, my Dad a hobby jazz musician, me, a choir kid from age 6 until I graduated from the conservatory with a degree as vocal teacher for popular music (jazz). I have been surrounded and immersed in live music and have no comprehension how people can not be familiar with this world.
So many to choose from! "Since I've been loving you", "Kashmir", "Immigrant Song", " In my Time of Dying", "Achilles Last Stand", "When the Levee Breaks", "You Shook Me", "No Quarter", "Nobodies Fault but Mine", "Dazed and Confused", "Whole Lotta Love", "Heartbreaker", "Blackdog", "Rock and Roll", "The Lemon Song", "Dy'er Maker," "Trampled Underfoot."
If there are any other songs....Ummm start with the rest of LZ IV aka “Untitled” and prepare yourself for the rest of the catalog. LZ I, which is an amazing debut album that was embarrassingly criticized by Rolling Stone and led to the band’s shunning of the press, is a great start. It is, IMHO, one of their best albums.
As a 63 year old who grew up listening to them they have and always will be the best. They had a movie out in 1977 I saw it at the drive in. Dang Im old. It shows Robert Plant with his son that passed away as a little boy. He got some stomach bug from his sister she got rid of it but his son Karac did not. So sad. Robert Plant still tours and sings with Allison Krause now. I follow him on instagram. Best band ever. Heart paying honor to them at the Kennedy awards is awesome. I’ll be seeing Heart play here in Ohio this Wednesday. Hoping they sing Stairway to Heaven they did in 2014.
63 year old white guy here. Excellent to see you enjoy breaking down music that is new and different to you. Music I grew up on in what I consider the best decade ever, the 1970's. You made this a fun watch!
Yes, it is a great one to start out on since it was the first song I ever heard by them. It was on AM radio--before FM became the big thing. That was the great thing about the early seventies, you'd hear a song like this, followed up by maybe Glen Campbell then someone like the Jackson 5.
I could talk for a whole day about that song alone. Watching you enjoy it like that, & the things that hit you, about it... was priceless 👍🧡 That drummer was the reason I play drums, and everybody tuned their heaviness levels after hearing him dance with the heavy footed, uncluttered snare drum style. He died in 1980 after partying too hard, & it ended the bands time. He was 30 yrs old when he died, and had a gold record on his wall for this song when he was 18yrs old. Led Zeppelin Owned the 70's. They were from Britain, & That Guitarist left nothing for anyone else to do at the time. They influenced everybody. The chemistry between their playing styles was legendary. John Bonham(drums) Robert Plant (vocal acrobatics) are the babies of the band, the other 2 were older studio players, who produced other bands like Bad Company, & The Hurdy Gurdy Man Album, & they played on other peoples songs often when others couldnt cut it, at producers asking. Their guitar player had a personal relationship with the guitar inventor Les Paul, & was given first crack at new releases of next years models. This performance was from 5 nights sold out at Madison Sq Gdns 73", an attendance record back then. This song was a number 1 hit for 10-15 years on Rock stations. The studio version is on Zeppelin 4. If you like those keyboards? Lookup "All of My Love". Its a short sweet song with an amazing keyboard solo. You Have a Good Ear. Also, Listen for the french horns on the studio version of THIS song... my friend, that sound producer was a lagend as well. Their sound system was Huge! He could record the drum sound like nobody ever in history, The only drum recording that comes close is who you mentioned, METALLICA. Metallica replaced this band as the badge holder of the heaviest band for a decade. I know you will check this band out more, I am gonna subscribe and check more of your vids out. I hope you like what I wrote, it is only a blip of how awesome Led Zeppelin was. 😎👍
Dude I love you fam you just got me jumping out of my seat . Im excited about this band can't wait to see everything . Thanks for the love fam. mad love and respect back to you

I love how you keep saying how smooth he was. Yes he is. Because he is natural talent. No auto-tune, no crap to enhance his voice. He was and will always be a rock God. Says the lady who’s nephews middle name is Zepplin. 😂 Not a coincidence. 😉
It blows my mind to realize there are people in the world who have never heard of the greatest rock band in the world! Keep listening! The rabbit hole is deep & wonderous
The kids shouldn't be listening to old stuff like Led Zep or The Beatles, they should be out there making their own music. It's a sign they're growing up when peer pressure diminishes and they check out what us oldies call 'proper music'. Rock on dude.
I am 81. My ardent wish for you is to explore more groups from the 60s and 70s. It will open up a whole new world to you. Please check out Kashmir by Led Zep, also. Get to hear the Doors, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Kansas, Boston,Bachman Turner Overdrive, and Aerosmith.
Robert Plant was 19 when he started singing with Led Zeppelin, of course he was cocky. He's from the Birmingham, England area. I was married to a "Brommie" (someone from the Birmingham area) and in 1982 he took me to the local pub that Robert Plant hung out in, sure enough he came in and everyone was so casual about it. I just sat and stared, it was amazing!!😎😎😎😎
Jimmy Page is playing a double-necked guitar, especially for this song. It features a 12-string and a 6-string guitar. The 12-string doubles the note an octave higher. It also gets featured on The Song Remains The Same/Rain Song. Check that live from same performance. Also, Moby Dick from 1970 (John Bonham's drum solo). Thx!
Loved the reaction. Led Zeppelin were my favourite band in my teens and I was fortunate enough to see them live in 1975. Best concert I've ever seen. They were a band where you just couldn't decide who was the most talented. Sadly John Bonham died far too young, and later he was replaced by his own son, who is an awesome drummer in his own right. I think "Ramble on" would be worth a reaction, or "Living loving maid" but frankly they made so many great songs.
Led Zeppelin are essentially the founders of Hard Rock, they were heavily inspired by roots of rock n roll Black American artists like Willie Dixon. They are from the UK. Pound for Pound they are arguably the most talented group of musicians ever formed. Robert Plant on Vocals, John Bonham on Drums, Jimmy Page on Guitar, John Paul Jones on Bass. The drummer passed away suddenly in 1980 and they band has been broken up ever since. Only ever done a few reunions with John Bonham's son on Drums. He was essentially irreplacable. The Next songs you should do: Black Dog (Upbeat rock track) Dazed and Confused (Original album, robert plant completely melts on vox) Whole Lotta Love (Experimental Upbeat anthem similar to D&C in a lot of ways) Achilles Last Stand (Epic hard riffs, if you want stairway vibes a second time but less soft) Ten Years Gone (Probably my favorite track for many reasons) Thank you for the video, you have a new subscriber.
These guys are legends. Another great song by them is 'Whole lotta love'. Their drummer is John Bonham & sadly he passed away. In 2012 Led Zeppelin was honored at the Kennedy Center & the girl rock group 'Heart' sang this in tribute & it is frigging amazing. You see the guys watching on with smile & a few tears as the girls kick ass & John's son Jason is the drummer for the performance & he wears his dads Bowler hat as a nod to dad. Watching both performances is so fun. You should check it out. Heart is sisters Ann the lead singer who is 62 years old at the Kennedy center performance & she is still frigging amazing. Her sister is Nancy 958) & an awesome guitarist/singer too. 'Barracuda' would be a fun one to hear them do as young rockers.
Dude. Your true real understanding of how hard it was for them with just the rawness of the music. No special effects and over dubs or loop pedals etc. Just pure talent blasting across the record players to the concert halls was an amazingly life experience as a teenager back then. I love all music from all walks of life but even today at 60 years old listening to bands like S.O.A.D. and Opeth. I still pull out my first Led Zeppelin stairway to heaven album. Put it on the turn table and crank it to the max. Memories. Simply pure music.
You stumbled on the greatest rock band of all time. the nuances and themes of all of their albums is legendary. They took all of their inspiration from the great Blues singers and bands especially from New Orleans. They do not have 50 albums like other bands but the quality of their work is unmatched.
English band heavily influenced by American music. Truly rock gods...they set the standard for partying..icons and fully masters of their instruments. GODS OF ROCK
Led Zeppelin are a British band. The band split when John Bonham died because they couldnt go on without him. Robert Plant has had a solo career. John Bonham was the best drummee that ever lived, his son Jason is as good. If you watch Heart's tribute to Led Zeppelin at The Kennedy Centre with the surviving members in the audience and Jason Bonham on drums. Please react to Black Dog, The Immigrant Sing, Kashmir.
I cant imagine growing up and not hearing or see Led Zeppelin, Im 65 have 3 grown kids in their 40's they all rock out and love Led Zeppelin, and all music I listened to even Elvis and Motown! Check out who inspired Led Zeppelin!❤ Also please check out Lynard Skynard/ Freebird live ❤
Led zeppelin was revolutionary. John Bonham was the first drummer in rock to follow the lead guitar with the beat instead of the base. Jimmy Page is considered a guitar god, he did things that had not been done before, like pying and electric guitar with a violin bow. They are all legends. There is plenty in thier catalog to amaze you
That sir was your epiphany, welcome to the best rock band that has ever existed. Saw them live many times , but Earls Court , London 1975 was , just amazing and unforgettable, from a aged 59 year old... and yes they still produce music, they are still legends in their own right and they will forever be at the pinnacle as rocks greatest. God bless you dude.
actually NO they do not produce music as a band or for the most part together, since John Bonham died in 1980 they have only played together as Led Zeppelin I am thinking 3 times, Live aide, atlantic records bday party and last in 2007 in england with Jason Bonham john's son on drums
Listen to Hearts tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center . The band is there all but John Bottom he has passed on . His son plays the drums for this tribute.
Zed Zeppelin... One of the great rock/blues/metal/pop band of all time. This concert was filmed in July 1973 at Maddison Square Garden NY, a 3 or 4 night showing back in the day. The film crew shot all 3 shows and created a masterpiece of a concert at LZ peak time. As someone at 64 yrs old today, I grew up on this music, LZ was the front runner in my collection of music. MANY musicians/artists learned so much from the British band. G.O.A.T!
Check out some of the songs from their earlier albums first: Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve Been Loving You. Their whole discography has so much to offer, but I think the above 3 songs are a good starting point. Also, this live performance you watched here is from 1973 at Madison Square Garden. From it I recommend checking out Since I’ve Been Loving You (maybe listen to the studio version first), Whole Lotta Love, and Dazed and Confused (studio version first). Cheers!
Yea I prefer rock live cuz you know it’s going to be great especially when they give the solo to the guitarist or drummer in this case both it is something to be respected it’s such an art any instrument is an art really weather it’s vocals or made out of metal thanks for the post fam
@@ROMsquad the Lemon Song is Jimmy Page's take on Howlin Wolf, Killing Floor; Duane Allman and Boz Scaggs, also, have a take with Loan me a Dime. Zeppelin's, tea for one is another take, it's on Presence, as is Achilles Last Stand.
Pity Queen didnt say the same when Freddy died ,breaks my heart seeing them continue with other singers in his place Freddy must be turning in his gave , least John got out as he loved and respected Freddy too much .
John Bonham son Jason plays drums with them now. Watch led Zepplin rock and roll hall of fame induction with Heart covering this song Jason Bonham is on drums and he's amazing too.
Loved watching you discover the brilliance of Led Zeppelin! Robert Plant is still going strong looking and sounding the same just with gray hair. He does beautiful duets with Alison Krause. For someone of my generation it’s hard to believe a person who is into music could not know about them or at least have heard this song but it is so satisfying to see that when you do experience it you immediately recognize their greatness ❤
For future reaction: Their library is robust with iconic masterpieces, but Immigrant Song and Kashmir should be next up. Prepare yourself to be impressed!
Love your reaction man!...You have witnessed the best 4 piece band EVER!!!...As you said this was live and raw, young people today don't realise that this was released 50 years ago long before computers or cell phones existed...Pure Talent!
Ok My #LedHeadz are going to love this.
Got it on a loop.. 😎

You're right, there are no bad ones.
Love Ramble on, When the levy breaks, and California were and still are some of my favorite songs by Led Zeppelin ♥️
The Next songs you should do:
Black Dog (Upbeat rock track)
Dazed and Confused (Original album, robert plant completely melts on vox)
Whole Lotta Love (Experimental Upbeat anthem similar to D&C in a lot of ways)
Achilles Last Stand (Epic hard riffs, if you want stairway vibes a second time but less soft)
Ten Years Gone (Probably my favorite track for many reasons)
Thank you for the video, you have a new subscriber.
It's a toss-up between Led Zeppelin and another English band... that of course is Pink Floyd. How can you compare greatness?
Don't forget "Kashmyr"
Pound for pound? I think Rush is in the running there: three guys and their drummer was bonzo's only peer.
Watch “hearts” tribute to them from rock and the roll Hall of fame and they are sitting in balcony watching and pretty much crying
That whole show was awesome! It’s amazing how Humble they all seem! They are legends and have still not gotten too big for their britches! 😉
Sooooo fantastic!
2012 Kennedy Center Honors
It was The Kennedy Center Honors
Came here to suggest this. That would be a great reaction to see!
This performance moved me.. heart nailed it.. made plant emotional.. just magical
I also recommend watching Heart's tribute, nominated by Obama!
Love him doing Black Dog too. So much fun ❤
I saw them May 18th 1973 in Dallas, TX. Absolutely incredible live.
Mr too! My first two are Queen and Zeppelin 👑🔥
BRANCHING OUT......VERY GOOD MOVE LOVE LED ZEPPELIN
I appreciate it but thank clou9 e we were talking about it I didn’t know them he suggested
So happy to have grown up in the 70’s with the best rock & roll ever!
I TOTALLY LOVED YOUR REACTION! YOUR CLAPPING AT THE END AND YOUR HUGE SMILE!!! EVERY ZEPPELIN SONG DESERVES TO BE ENJOYED ❤🎉❤🎉
thanks fam I appreciate you love and respect
Love your dimple
You stumbled on the greatest rock band of all time. the nuances and themes of all of their albums is legendary. They took all of their inspiration from the great Blues singers and bands especially from New Orleans. They do not have 50 albums like other bands but the quality of their work is unmatched.
English band heavily influenced by American music. Truly rock gods...they set the standard for partying..icons and fully masters of their instruments. GODS OF ROCK
that’s true, and American music is influenced by eastern music and style
Led Zeppelin are a British band. The band split when John Bonham died because they couldnt go on without him. Robert Plant has had a solo career.
John Bonham was the best drummee that ever lived, his son Jason is as good. If you watch Heart's tribute to Led Zeppelin at The Kennedy Centre with the surviving members in the audience and Jason Bonham on drums.
Please react to Black Dog, The Immigrant Sing, Kashmir.
John Bonham died and his son had recently been playing with them
When the Levee Breaks is my all time favourite song by them.
Yes Kashmir! Another one of their best!
I nearly weep every time I watch the Heart rendition of this song at Kennedy Ctr Honors. Phenomenal. I love the bands reactions throughout the song. ❤
There is plenty in thier catalog to amaze you
Especially all the stuff they stole from other artists' catalogues
Music today is “listened to”...music then was EXPERIENCED.
I’m so glad you are open minded. Thank you.
Yes👍 welcome to the best real music Little bro😂😘
actually NO they do not produce music as a band or for the most part together, since John Bonham died in 1980 they have only played together as Led Zeppelin I am thinking 3 times, Live aide, atlantic records bday party and last in 2007 in england with Jason Bonham john's son on drums
Listen to Hearts tribute to Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center . The band is there all but John Bottom he has passed on . His son plays the drums for this tribute.
Never pause a guitar solo
If you truly never heard this song before, now that you did, music will never be the same to you again.
Ahhh man I’m so glad that anyone can come to love Led Zeppelin just after one song
"Kashmir" is classic- Jimmy Paige is legend- Another English group.
Kashmir will blow your mind
Check out some of the songs from their earlier albums first: Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, Since I’ve Been Loving You.
Their whole discography has so much to offer, but I think the above 3 songs are a good starting point.
Also, this live performance you watched here is from 1973 at Madison Square Garden. From it I recommend checking out Since I’ve Been Loving You (maybe listen to the studio version first), Whole Lotta Love, and Dazed and Confused (studio version first). Cheers!
you nailed quite a few great songs there !!
Sounds like a near future Zep
Fan
Robert Plant on vocals and Jimmy Page on guitar is pure Heaven. I was blessed to be born in the early 60’s.
And Bonham....unbelievable talent
Don’t leave out JPJ.
In my time of dying live is unbelievable, you wont be disappointed
Just found this. Love your reaction! When Bonham drops it and Page launches that solo, whoohoo! Fifty years later and it's still DAMN!!
Welcome to Led Zeppelin! Lemon song, When the Levee Breaks are two great ones. Anything Live really
Not to forget john paul jones on bass lemon song
@@aviatom1 to die for ...
When the band lost their great drummer John Bonham they all agreed that there could be no more led zeppelin without him
Facts it would not be the same from what i can see he truly was the glue
Like Van Halen with Eddie gone. Son Wolf said no stepping in his father's shoes.
Pity Queen didnt say the same when Freddy died ,breaks my heart seeing them continue with other singers in his place Freddy must be turning in his gave , least John got out as he loved and respected Freddy too much .
@@MARTIN-bd7gm Same for me with the Eagles after Glen Frey passed away.
The best thing about Led Zeppelin and what they did for me was, is that they showed up in my lifetime.
🤣😂🤣
