Jimmy has said that he remembers going onstage and coming off, and very little in between. But he’s always gone into a zone when he plays. Robert has said that, for him, to be able to do that performance of Zeppelin songs was nothing short of a miracle. JPJ felt relief when it was over. Jason was over the moon….to look down and see his dads old mates…and he was playing for ZEPPELIN…..and JPJ was giving HIM “the look” that he used to give to his dad. All of them spoke about the “thousand and one emotions” that they all experienced rehearsing and leading up to the concert. Considering how much those three had gone through together, and how intense it was……I can only imagine.
Every member of this band, with the exception of Jason Bonham is in their mid to late 70's now. Bonham is 57. And yet were they to perform this song again in 2023 they would still be able to deliver it with this kind of brilliance! They define professionalism. Interesting enough I met Jason a few years ago and he is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to know. Watching him do this on his dad's old kit was a real treat! It simply proves that a leaf never falls far from the tree from wince it came.
We spent many years hearing others trying desperately to imitate this sound, and everyone fell short. Then they get back together and, for one show, showed all the kids how it's done. Absolutely amazing!
Im 56 years old, graduated high school in 1986 and Im actually Crying right now... watching you guys reactions to my Favorite Band and seeing them on stage. I remembered watching this performance back in the Day with my Best Friend and it was magical then and still is to this day. Thank-you Led Zeppelin for all the Great Music and the memories that are associated with it... your music truly is the soundtrack to my life
THE MASTERS!!! You guys need to watch the entire concert, its incredible!! Roberts voice is the best of all time!!🎶🎤💜🎵💜 20,000 seats available...20 million requests!!!🎶💜
Try "For Your Life". It was the first time they tried it live. And what impresses me the most is that they didn't have to take that risk that it would not be well received. Guts right to the end. These guys were different.
I was lucky enough to get a ticket to see Led Zeppelin live and it’s the most wanted music show ever! They are my favourite band ever and their music now is nearly 50 years old and still sounds amazing!
I will be 60 in August and fixing to take drum lessons JUST to play this song! We'll, to just PLAY really, but DAMN this is a GREAT goal!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶💯🤘🤘🤘🤘😎
Evelyn here. There are very few places, in time or space, that I would rather have been the proverbial “fly on the wall” than at the rehearsals for this concert. The emotions of this reunion…..Jason coming into the band, the planing of the set list……All of it. And of course, no ticket I would rather have had than to be one of those very lucky 20,000 who, quite literally, won that lottery. That would have been one of those peak moments in one’s lifetime.
Nice analogy it would be like winning the lottery of future memories to spend with friends and family until the very day you left this part of the universe to seek pastures elsewhere maybe even taking it with you however a long life and happy to all
You guys need to react to more Led Zepplin! I suggest reacting to some of their acoustic songs like going to California, battle of evermore and bron-yr-stomp
I agree. Keep listening and reacting to Led Zeppelin...you have only scratched the surface. My favorite group as a teen in 60s 70z and to this day hands down#1
Now, when you see a 70 year old you gotta know they were rocking to this when it first burst out in society. It was earth shaking. Are you gonna be listening to this in 50 years?? !! Make a playlist of Led Zeppelin for your friends. Teach them.
Im a mom of 2 kids, in my 30s, a housewife and this has been my on my loop songlists for quite few years. Never gets old and the energy it brings... Pure goosebumps!!!
Robert Plant has still got it on the vocals and watch Jimmy page on the guitar how calm and cool he is. It’s like second nature to this band and with Jason Bonham on the drums filling in for his father John it’s a beautiful thing.
A friend of mine was at this exact concert and told me afterwards that it was unbelievably loud and the experience of a lifetime. This coming from someone who has seem just about everything. People were pummeled into submission. Cheers 🍺
Kashmir is one of my most favourite Led Zeppelin songs, what a riff, and this version from Celebration Day is absolutely awesome, outstanding, what else can you say, spectacular! Jason certainly did his father proud on the drums, well done Jason! Robert Plant's voice is amazing, and of course Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones are incredible too. Your reaction is fabulous, guys, I love it and have watched this video quite a few times, wonderful. Thanks so much for reacting to this epic performance!❤👍
Bravo Led Zeppelin, bravo Jason Bonham, and bravo Patrick and George for your great reaction. I love this song all day, every day! Janet from Louisiana ☮️🖤🤟
Bros, Zep began in 1968/69 to 1980, so mostly 70s. Robert is my age here, 59, and Jimmy 63, still got it! Best group ever! And Jason making his late Dad so proud
Thanks for doing this version, I get chills every time I hear it. Jason is a beast drummer chip off his father for sure. The rest of Led Zepp are perfect as usual, Jimmy’s tone is incredible here too.
Even though there's a sizable gap between Bonzo's drumming prowess and his son's, Jason is still terrific, and this was a performance where all four shined and everything clicked. Epic! And yes, the three Zep members were between 59 - 63, give or take.
There was a time when you had to have talent to be the best. That is why bands like led zeppelin are iconic. Only the best made the grade. The very best. These days anyone with UA-cam and a machine and auto tune can hit the charts. God I miss real music
My favorite song by my favorite band, and probably my favorite performance of it. And that WONDERFUL held note of Robert’s just gives me chills…..I do t even care if it was helped a little bit in the editing. It’s glorious….and a testimony to the power of his voice almost into his seventh decade.
Jason ponding the skins, did his Dad proud. Plant.... geeez dude still can wail. Jimmy and Jones great as usual. I`m just so spoiled growing up with them. GOAT of Rock/Blues.
Fantastic. And it’s good that you react and not just nod your head like so many others. Well done all round. The performance was top notch. There is a different level when the masters play.
Thanks for doing more Led Zep guy's, we need a lot more. Been waiting a long time for you to react to Ten Years Gone. It's a monster. Also, from Clebration Day I would say For Your Life, which was one of the highlights for me.
I was 16 when this album came out. I'd been a fan of Zeppelin since the early seventies, 1975 was a great year. Once I heard this song for the first time it became my favorite song of theirs 46 years later it still is. Man we had it great back then.
Part of the reason, in fact, gigantic part of the reason this performance is so powerful is due to John Paul Jones, with the keyboard and bass. Take that away, or even change who's doing it, and it would sound like you're turning the setting on your boom box from stereo to mono.
Did you notice the obelisks as they appeared in the backdrop taken from the album "Presence" - an impossible shape ! yet you're looking at it - An illusion. Brilliant ! & what a performance. I got the cd's + dvd Deluxe Edition which is utterly amazing - and I was at Knebworth in '79 - They still got it ! ! ! Thankyou guys for such a great reaction to such an iconic track.
Thanks you guys!! You help me to reconnect with my feelings when I heard this new probably what? 45 years now??!! I'm old, but thanks for sharing and appreciating music I have loved for years!! Be safe and keep sharing!
Kashmir was written in 1974 when the group was either in Morocco, or had just returned from the country, hence some of the chords. The album was released in 1975, and became so iconic. John Paul holds it all together, Jason, a gifted prodigy?, who inherited his father’s ability to play unusual beats on the drums, Jimmy plays that driving riff that is so identifiable, and Jimmy, who voice still had the range, power and ability that many can only dream of having at his age. Nine minutes of pure magic without any gimmicks heard todays.
THIS is as good as life will ever get
they got in the Guiness book of world records for this concert because over 20 million people applied for tickets
Jason Bonham, the only drummer on the planet qualified to play with these guys
Well said buddy ! I know him , great guy ! 🥁🥁👊🏼❤️
Amen, and Amen. You got that right!
@@richardcollyer4353 as was his father, everyone said and says. Bonzo forever
Listen to in my time of dying. It's a great song.
Fucking A buddy...🤘🔥🤘
for one night, led zeppelin conquered the music world yet again
Led Zepplin the greatest band ever Jason following Bonzo his dads foot steps and doing a great job
Let’s Praise John Paul Jones! Tearing up the keyboards while playing bass with his feet!
JPJ was always underrated!! He's amazing!!! ❤ It took all four of these guys to make their magic!!!
John Paul Jones on the keyboard, and playing the bass with his feet! Amazing!
Even in their 60s they are magnificent!!
40 years past their prime and they are still better than anyone else.
upper 70's ❤️
Can you imagine how emotional that was for ALL of them? It must have been overwhelming. ❤️
Jimmy has said that he remembers going onstage and coming off, and very little in between. But he’s always gone into a zone when he plays. Bro I can’t even fathom that emotion!
It was emotional for us who were there.
Love seeing younger generation guys appreciating this music from my youth.

fun fact. John Paul Jones plays the bass-part with his feet.
It's so classic and genuine Led Zeppelin that JPJ is overlooked once again even though he just nailed those keyboards :)
Robert doesn't get a lot of kudos either. Love JPJ . Everyone talks about Jimmy and then Bonzo. If it were just those two they wouldn't be on stage.
I think this version of "Kashmir" is the best ever! It is the ring tone on my phone. :-) Thank you for doing this!!!!!
I agree. They are so tight and the sound is just awesome.
My ringtone too. 😊
absolutely.
My ringtone as well! ❤❤❤❤
There's another earlier version that Plant just rips.
We spent many years hearing others trying desperately to imitate this sound, and everyone fell short.
Then they get back together and, for one show, showed all the kids how it's done.
Absolutely amazing!

AMAZING performance. And John Paul Jones - wow!
I don't care how many times that I've watched this performance, it always gets me so pumped up.
I could listen to this on repeat forever and never get tired of it!
It’s everything a tune should be !!
The reaction guy was right: this was perfect.
Operatic. 'Let Me Take You There'...
Me too....its bliss and everything crazy in your life and troubled mind goes quiet as this takes over that noise and replaced it with this masterpiece
Jason is probably the most overlooked drummer there ever was.
Not by actual drummers though.
By whom ?
Don't worry he still has one of greatest flex lines ever "My Dad played for Led Zeppelin"
@@kumararup188 "my dad is the greatest drummer of all time" is better.
Wholeheartedly agree!
Allways was and still is the most powerfull piece of music I have ever heard !!!!
Led Zeppelin Zeppelin Zeppelin you are the best band ever to walk planet earth

It has never been a hard decision for me when I say they were the greatest rock band in history!

That is Jason Bonham on the drums...John Bonham's son!! Do No Quarter from this concert!!
That would, be awsome to hear Jason perform when the levee breaks. I Know he would nail it
