Very nice review and you are an excellent guitarist. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊
I luckily own one of this that I exchanged with a Gibson SG that was not my kind of guitar.
My DC is a Worn Brown and as born as a Junior.
I just bought an new 3 ply pickguard, a neck p90 pickup, a three ways switch and a capacitor and welding the new circuitry and now she is a majestic LP Special DC.
I love this guitar with the slab body.
Is a very playable, resonant and comfortable guitar. 😊🤗

I bought a lightly used one 9/21. Previous owner put a graph tech bridge on it (adjustable saddles!) and man does it ever play well.
Even given my obnoxiously large collection of nice guitars, there is just something about these. I love the rawness and simplicity of it. Light, very toneful, and inspiring. Something about it that makes me reach for it all the time. It gets a lot of playing time.
Pickguard? I could not give a rat's a** about it. Looks perfectly fine to me, but I'm more concerned about tones, playability, and reliability than the shape of the pickguard.
Edit - Price is rising on these. Getting a nice one under $1000 isn't all that easy to do.

Great playing! Im thinking about getting one for $800 from my friend. It’s red and pristine. Is there a neck dive? Any problems with intonation? Thanks!

Hey! There's no neck dive. This one was really light and well balanced. Intonation was perfect as well. I've played a few more of these since this review and one of them had rough fret ends so keep an eye out for that.

I really want to buy this guitar, but that pickguard is quite disturbing in the shape of a dik., so I'll go for a 2nd hand conventional DC that looks like a proper DC.

After making this vid I missed having the guitar. I like the older DC styling but this really was a pretty good guitar.

When yo demo a guitar you should play it instead of talking the whole video 🤪

This one I was going for more of a review than demo. I’m putting the finishing touches on an amp demo of the new ToneMaster. Keep an eye out for it. Much more playing than talking in the next one.

And Aunt Jennifer, do you use words to learn about things; like a magazine review for example?
Manners? Well, that's another topic entirely.
