An excellent review!! I picked up one of these back in November 2023. It is a really nice guitar for the money. As you said, it's a sleeper in the Gibson line.

I was waiting to your feedback on the neck, this is the best part of this guitar, it also looks great. I was in the US in the end of the 2019, saw that guitar in blue at guitar center. It was better than any prs, gibson there.

Hello from my France. I just watched your video which is very interesting. I have this same Les Paul Junior DC Tribute 2019. The G string when tuned sounds out of tune. Do you have any advice? What strings do you recommend for this guitar? I'm 11 - 49 for strings. Thank you for your help. Musically MicH.

I use 9's, but if it sounds out of tune you may need to intonate better by adjusting the stopbar, or it might need some filing on the nut slots. Intonation with the stopbar can be a little tricky

Hi. Thank you for your answer. I think I'm going to see a luthier because I don't really like touching stopbars. THANKS. Have a good day.

Those routes would swallow a pair of Firebird pickups just nicely....

If Gibson put two P 90's on it they'd charge $1800 and people would still buy it.

@@steveelbert6996that would be the tribute special, which costs roughly the same…

Someone has to understand some day that a plank of wood with a cheap P 90 isn't worth more than a couple hundred at most. But go ahead. It's your money,or your moms.
