I love the soundstream’s capabilities and the sleek look of them. It’s just hard to justify $1,100+ for just the head unit.
Nothing like good tunes while riding. Hope to do business with them in the future.
I can see the value of gps navigation but I never listen to the radio on my bike, I don't feel the need.

Mercy,,,,, A Radio on a Harley? Us Oldtimers listened to the throb of our Pans and Shovels was the music we liked.....Can not relate.....We used a thing called a MAP to navigate ever heard of it?.
I can read a map just fine, but I like that gps not all new tech is bad, and yep I'm up there in age too.

I understand, sometimes I just want to feel the wind and hear the exhaust, but sometimes I want to enjoy my music while I'm on a long road trip. One of the great things about this radio is, it has an on off switch 😉 best of both worlds. But, seriously having live traffic updates to reroute you around stand still traffic is highly important for an air cooled v-twin.
Amen brother!! These guys all ride custom bikes, they ain't Harleys anymore once they get done with em!! Tall wouldn't like me, mine is still stock
If you want that why buy a two wheel Car? A Convertible Car gives you wind in the face plus if hitting a rain squall just put up the top.
Motorcycles were made to be simple machines able to be fixed on the side of the road by the rider not an electrical engineer with a Masters. Degree....Or a 100$ labor rate shop! just saying

I have this radio in my 13 FLHTP, its a great radio so far
My only complaint is the indicators (neutral, oil, turn signals) that get relocated on the 9813SG are extremely hard to see in the daylight, especially with sunglasses on.

Spend $400 on a high end Bluetooth communicator for your helmet and the audio quality will be amazing on every bike you jump on.
True, but to be able to see the turn by turn is important for me. Searching on the go, traffic updates etc.

Would I lose the information screen from my '17 RGS? its the screen I have up 90% of the time for the outside temp, oil press, clock, IETMS, ETC.
This radio/Head Unit is dope. It brings the older bikes into the 21st century. It seems to outclass the Apple Car Play option on the new CVO as well.

I hope Volunteer Audio is at RTTHs next yr. Up to volume 50? That's crazy. Nigel's system only goes up to 11. He would be jealous. lol
