To be clear, Jimmy Page was the producer of All their albums. But all the others were genius too and it took all 4 to create this magic.@@juliemanarin4127
The question of who is the genius in Led Zeppelin is easy. It's all four of them. Jimmy is a great blues rock guitarist, John Paul is an extraordinarily talented multi-instrumentalist, John was maybe the best rock drummer who ever lived and Robert is an amazing singer with incredible stage presence. Of my generation (I'm 71) all the women wanted to be with Robert Plant and all the men wanted to be him. We'll never see their like again.
I've heard every Led Zeppelin song a thousand times, but I'm smiling and groovin' right along with guys as you discover each gem. Great, REAL reactions!
This is the music from my generation (I'm 71). The 60's, 70's & 80's had the best music. 🎵🎶❤️. Love your reactions & seeing how much you enjoy the music. Have a Blessed day 😊
At 60, completely agree. Many call it the Golden Age of Rock. I really miss those days growing up in LA in the 70's where Rock stations (shout out to KROQ and KMET The Mighty Met) could play anything they wanted not the corporate radio crap these days. Man, it was amazing.
Yaay!! More Zeppelin!! Please do more! Jimmy Page produced all their albums!! Jimmy and JPJ are the geniuses! Jimmy produced all their albums and JPJ was a master arranger!
There are certainly many other hard rock/blues rock groups at the time and after, but there is a huge x-factor with Led Zeppelin that catapults them to the very pinnacle of Rock. The combination of talents is just unbelievable.
Jimmy Page is the producer. He always let each member stand out with there talent. No ego from Jimmy he knew how good they were and produced it beautifully.
Jimmy came up with the riffs….he was known as a riff master. JPJ was a master arranger and would bring his ideas. In this case the genius of that bass line. Robert would bring his ideas. And then, of course, z Bonham would add his insane fills. Jimmy was also the producer and a master of special effects in the studio (like reverse echo, which Page was the first to use) and worked with the engineer on the mixing.
Watching your reactions to this is priceless it takes me back to when i first heard this 42yrs ago!! I was an18yrs old kid with literally nothing living in a squat without a family in the middle of a literal war zone in Northern Ireland. Luckily i had friends in the same situation and i was in love for the first time!! 💕 and i had the music 🎶 including Led Zep. Many years later i ended up taking care of Jimmy Page along with my cousin one night and i got to tell him how much i loved his music. That young love ❤ has long evaporated some of my true friends didn't survive that time but i did and so has the music. Listening to it again is glorious and i realise all over again how truly wonderful Zepplin's music is 😊 thanks for reminding me 🙏😀
You're reactions are genuine, makes it fun to and listen to the music, I believe you stated your from Poland, I was born in Germany, lived in Japan for while, now reside in the US, just retired (Engineer) and my love for music is playing music most of my life, drums. Great channel.
Growing up on Zeppelin, and many other great bands from the 60’s and 70’s, we walked around with a smile on our faces and in our hearts, great music, beautiful time to be a teenager😎
Bass line of John Paul Jones is running with John Bonham’s drumming.Jimmy Page is cranking as always and Robert Plant with his sultry voice just hypnotizes your inner being. They are captivating.
Gee, listen to Jimmy's solo again??? Sign me up! Love the reaction! I still have the vinyl from 1969 or 1970. My favorite Zep album. Love the bass line in Living Loving Maid.....how can you not?
Zep 2 was very organically brought together through all their jamming and rehearsing and playing together, having fun touring America on their first tour in 1969. The songs for the second album grew out of that tour of their first album.
There was a time when they were no longer playing together, and all we had were people trying to copy Page and Page trying in vain to teach others how to play his riffs. Then they got back together for that concert, and they blew me away. After all those years of people trying to play like them, it turned out no one was even close. They came back and showed all the youngsters how it was done. It was magic.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this song changed my life. I had already started learning guitar and I was doing folk music in a coffeehouse, and when I heard this song I fell in love with the guitar in a whole new way. This was considered the very definition of heavy metal music back then, but it was really just one aspect of what Led Zeppelin had to offer the music world.
I'm 68, I was about 12 when their first album came out. What is most impressive about them is the absolute power of the music, at the same time beautiful and blending humorous and even whimsical elements throughout the music. The awesome power that everyone else tried to copy.
When you think of 70’s rock and roll, all the great bands, and there were many, but one stands out so much like Zeppelin does, that’s saying something.
I bought this on cassette in 1976 and I wore it out. This was made in 1969 and was light years ahead of everyone else production wise and talent wise. It's a perfect album and for me, was the entry way to Heavy Metal. I was so into this reaction I was waiting for the next song (Ramble On) to come on next. Fun reaction to an absolute classic.
You two are my favorite reactors on UA-cam without question because you understood and appreciate true genius just like the rest of us did the first time we experienced this magic. Led Zeppelin was made up of four geniuses in their own field as well as having the ability to cross over to other disciplines. They were without a doubt the greatest rock band of all time in my opinion and I love many bands.
John Paul Jones is the secret ingredient in Zeppelin. Master bassist, keyboardist and composer. He did the arrangements in many of their greatest songs ❤
I love you 2 not only your reactions to great music, it to one another, you are so sweet to each other and cute ! TY for me giving me so many fun moments ! Keep enjoying and having fun together. . . 😅
Love seeing your reactions to Zep ! I always had butterflies listening to their music mind you i was only fifteen at the time but their music was unlike anything around in 69 !
In live concerts they often threw in some improvisation but JPJ kept the base going so the others could get back on track. They played a massive range of genre, often in one track! Fantastic trust between them and amazing stage presence!
Led Zeppelin are unique among the great rock bands of the 1970’s in having an incredible variety of styles. There is no such thing as a “ typical” Zep song, unless you mean that it is typically unpredictable. Suggest you check out “ No Quarter” and “ How Many More Times” and “ The Rover”. Great reactions from both of you guys. Stay safe stay happy stay you. Best wishes from England 🏴.
Some of the music was written by guitarist Jimmy Page, and some was written by bassist John Paul Jones. Page generally gets the credit for all of the riffs, but quite often it's Jones who came up with them. "Black Dog" for example, is one like that.
Interesting to see first time reactions to music I first time reacted to as a senior in high school ~55 years ago. More interesting is how durable the music itself has proved over all that time.
We used to love this solo... it was legendary for guitar players. Page had a lot of fun with it live. Fun fact: "Eruption / You Really Got Me" off Van Halen's debut were also played back to back. These are the neat things they used to do back when music was something.
When I first heard the guitar riff in the middle of this song I thought of The Beatles "She's so Heavy". The lyrics for the Beatles song goes, "I want you so bad, I want you so baaaad. She's so heavy".
Great reaction! I see you've only reacted to the live version of "Since I've Been Loving You", but you still haven't heard the original studio recording. The original studio recording will reveal to you the true power and magic that was Led Zeppelin, and will definitely touch your soul. You should check it out next. Peace PS. With Led Zeppelin, you should always check out the studio recordings first. Zeppelin were very improvisational, and the songs would often change from night to night, To get a truer understanding of the songs, the studio versions are the way to go. And the sound of the original recordings are just so much better. Peace
When I was in high school, the first band I was in (late '60s) played a lot of Led Zeppelin, Cream, and The Who. I haven't listened to those bands in years. Thanks for the flashbacks.
I believe when they decided not to continue, Plant said in an interview: "The greatest drummer in the world has passed away. Who are you going to replace him with?" Perfectly said, I believe they were (or still are) musical geniuses, it's God's gift for humans that they found each other and created a band 🙂
They are so cute together, you can tell they love each other. I also love their reactions to Led Zeppelin, they both really enjoy listening & giving us their thoughts.
I just love watching you two react to "My Music"! 😉 The music from my younger days! So wonderful to see people hear and appreciate music from that era.
i love such good and intelligent comments from both of you. Jimmy Page is the amazing guitar player. usually i think all 4 band members in this group contribute to what the song will be but probably Jimmy would make most decisions. i think Jimmy is playing around here. he can make any sounds that he wants because he can. i wish the best for both of you. i your wife has good comments and they are not stupid. God bless you both.
Just discovered your channel. You guys are a hoot! And no apologies necessary! You groove and dig the music the way that feels right to you; it's your channel. As far as the mighty Zep goes, all 4 members were at the top of their individual musical disciplines; however, the vision and studio genius behind them was Jimmy Page, their guitarist. He (along with the bass player, John Paul Jones) were top tier London studio musicians before the band. It's here that Jimmy learned about music production and studio recording techniques that helped Zeppelin achieve their sound and success. Because of his expertise, they didn't need to depend on outside producers, so "their" sound remained "their" sound, unaltered or moved in another direction by outside influences. Cheers!
They were the gods of rock at that time. I recognize Robert Plant’s voice. He had this sort of crying type of voice. It was so beautiful. There is no other like him and Jimmy Paige gave him the music.
Thank you for your first time reaction to Zepplin's Heartbreaker. And also thank you for doing the Studio version 1st. I do enjoy the live reactions, but not for a first time listen. When you start with the Studio version 1st, you're hearing it exactly the same as it was to our ears back in the late 60's to early 70's. Well done and love the channel!
la loro ispirazione deriva spesso da brani blues più vecchi e meno conosciuti...rimane però insuperabile la capacità di rendere unico lo stile musicale che hanno creato
I love the passion of your reactions. It is so very different from what the current music consists of. The genius of the music has to be acknowledged as Jimmy Page’s contributions. He writes the music, and produces the recordings. His riffs are so different. Jimmy didn’t like Living Loving Maid. He wrote these lyrics, and I’ve heard him say he was too cynical when he wrote this.
Jimmy Paige, the lead guitarist is the genius behind the production of this great band!!! But all four members are pure gold. Thx guys.
Jpj is a genius as well
John Paul Jones had every bit as much to do with the production and the arrangements. Paige was the master of overdub and layering tracks.
And produced all the albums. JPJ also did some arranging...especially on the last album!
@@stevepas1yes he is!

The both of you are officially Led heads
The crazier Zeppelin gets on any given track, the harder Dominika smiles. She's a rock and roller! Look out, Andrei. She is a wild woman.
I've heard every Led Zeppelin song a thousand times, but I'm smiling and groovin' right along with guys as you discover each gem. Great, REAL reactions!
Led Zeppelin is the best “punch to the face” ever!
Not really a punch to the face... more like a freight train of musical genius running through your face. 🙂
This is the music from my generation (I'm 71). The 60's, 70's & 80's had the best music. 🎵🎶❤️. Love your reactions & seeing how much you enjoy the music. Have a Blessed day 😊

Agree 100percent
Yep. 71 too.
2 great songs from the great Led Zeppelin.
Greatest most diverse Rock Band ever... Welcome it's going to be a long trip.

It's good to see you young people enjoy, music, with no digit sound files tacho stuff but music made by hand and soul.
Every song on this album is legendary.
The Lemon Song is just crazy, one of my favourites from Zeppelin!
Jimmy Page(guitar)is the driving force but this is four excellent musicians that came together in a perfect storm at the perfect time!
That entire record is just like that played the bright side play the backside and you just can’t get enough
Do fool in the rain....different zeppelin..but absolutely amazing xx.....kisses for Arnold xxx
