Yeah, you got the point of the song; his woman left him so he hopped on a train in hopes of starting over wherever the train stops. The train ride will hopefully take him away from his blues (sadness). Great reaction, CC
When everything in your life is in place you can listen to this song and enjoy the guitars and piano, but when you've lost your girlfriend or wife, you pay attention to the lyrics, you feel sad about your loss and hope that you will eventually feel good again.
Hi guys!!! Tuesday is the name of the woman. And, she's gone metaphorically -- she no longer loves him. So, he is leaving, on a real train -- hoping he can ride someplace where his blues/sadness will eventually go away. Anyway, that's my interpretation :-)
No, the singer did not mention the name of the "woman" but the term "Tuesday" is the day when their divorce paper was filed. And Ronnie ripped the papers along a train going through and the train ran over the paper pieces and flew them away, having the term "with the wind"
Awesome! My favorite rock band of all time! If you want to hear some of their music that isn’t off of their greatest hits albums that are still great songs. “T for Texas “ and “Honky tonk night time man “ are 2 of my favorites. They were one of the few artists that I can listen to a whole album and not skip a song.
Ronnie always had the purest way of conveying the message/feeling of his songs....... HOF songwriter if there ever was one! for a different feel try Honky Tonk Night Time Man
I think he's talking about being a touring musician. Every time he met a woman and fell for her, he had to leave to work in the next town and leave her at home. Hence Tuesday's gone, and on to Wednesday.
Just found your channel by the way of your reactions to REN’s music. Love the interaction between to both of you. Refreshing…keep up the great work. 👍🏻👍🏻
The 60's has a number of sleepers, neglected gems. One you should consider (and maybe become the first on UA-cam to react) is "Farewell Song" from the album, "Live at Winterland '68" by Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin. It's another breakup song.
These sad love songs from these bands like Skynyrd and Marshall Tucker. You need to look at the meaning from a musicians perspective. Like they have to leave there women behind you while there on the road touring. From my 40 years on the road the girl almost always leaves you. But not always there is a few exceptions that can handle it if your honest with her. And I got lucky and found one and she was on the road with me for the first ten years but once we had a child she decided to stay home. Plus the road life is extremely hard on you unless your extremely Rich. We did ok but we couldn't have ever afforded our own jet😂 we did buy a nice tour bus. But sadly I lost my wife the same day Kenny Rodgers died. I quit the music business and just kick around with my German shepherd Sargent I do help my nephews with there music as much as I can understand it.. kids 😂
This is a crazy coincidence...I was going to suggest you do this Skynyrd song as I just heard it on the radio yesterday...that is really too funny So how about Hotel California Live 1977? ...would really like to see you react to the live version.
@@jkennedy1048 They said they know the song, but I was really pushing them (in another comment) to do the live version. I grew up with that song and after seeing the live version(s), it totally changed my perspective. Plus Joe Walsh's expressions on the '77 concert are priceless...
So there’s only one thing you’ll ever need to know… and I believe you’re beginning to figure it out… the ‘70s had the best music of all time! 😊…. end of discussion LOL!
Love Lynyrd Skynyrd. But now it's time to indoctrinate you into the world of AC/DC. Here are songs to get you started. WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE live at River Plate. T.N.T. JAILBREAK. ITS A LONG WAY TO THE TOP, IF YOU WANNA ROCK-N-ROLL. THUNDERSTRUCK. Before you get started, the older songs are with the singer Bon Scott. He died in 198o. Brian Johnson was brought in to carry on after his death. You are in for a ride. Enjoy
Great reaction guys ❤❤❤❤ from singapore btw I appreciate if you can react to ez mil on his new album Podium, The Long Run ft(4 brother),Coins ft(MB Nel) thank you may god bless you and your family...peace
I went and looked it up so not my interpretation. Similar to Free Bird, Tuesday’s Gone is about the struggles of a performer and a love he had to leave behind for the success of his career. One possible explanation about Tuesday is a friend that passed had mentioned prior to passing that he would see them on Tuesday. I like the explanation and symbolism. Good job you two ❤
I think his woman committed suicide. His pain and loss seem too deep and profound for a breakup. She had to be "free". He's leaving his woman "at home". That's why he has to leave and hobo around to escape the pain. To me, that explains why the last instrument solo is a church organ.
Great reaction. Skynyrd is one of my all time favourite bands and one the greatest live bands ever. I see you have not reacted to The Warning yet. You should try out Animosity or Disciple from their Live at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico. They are a great three piece power trio that just rocks out live. If you like 70's 80's rock, you will find them a joy to listen to and watch.
That guitar solo sounds so lonesome!
Tuesdays gone is a masterpiece

His woman actually killed herself

Their music is timeless, always will be.
Absolutely !
My favorite Skynard song!
"Tuesday you see, she had to be free" Tuesday is the name of his girl.
Thank you kindly for another Lynyrd Skynyrd reaction.
Absolutely love you two together - what a refreshing couple; I hope you guys grow old together!

Good description
I always think of Tuesday Weld the actress and it messes with my mind. LOL.
It's about being a touring musician and always having to leave the girl you fell for in the town at home.

💯 truth. Their deep cuts are better than the hits Imo.
Forget hip hop..my man. Rock and roll is the way to live your life. ❤😊
My FAVORITE band!!
Tuesday, his lady left, so he left. Nothing left to stay for.
O to go back in time to see these greats perform live again would be priceless ❤
Poison Whiskey Saturday Night Special if you want to get more on the rough side of life of their music
My Favorite Skynyrd tune.
Love this song. It's like listening to " the wind." 😊 more to rock than just a guitar. All instruments.
Song is just FANTASTIC. 💥💥💥👍😎
Ronnie always had the purest way of conveying the message/feeling of his songs.......

The guitar solo reminded me of a
Lonesome sounding train!

This song is about the divorce from his first wife, it was final on a Tuesday Ronnie had a hard time dealing with it
tuesday is the girls name, not a weekday...
SKYNYRD!!!!! LIVE FREE!!!! LEGENDS!!!

The ballad of Curtis Lowe
Try Lynyrd Skynyrd ON THE HUNT, GIMME BACK MY BULLETS and SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL. Bangers!
Nice and simple times in America when this song came out
Hey Guys, love your channel!
Please, keep up the nice work!
Kudos!
BLUES is a way your feelng. Also a type of music. When someone has the Blues, theyre sad.
If you like Skynyrd and the Allman Bros., you should check out "The Band." Especially songs like "The Weight" or "Chest Fever."
Its not Christmas, but beautiful, and sad. Beautiful for the music, sad for the lyrics. Like Christmas, it raises emotions.
They have so many great songs! I think you should do That Smell nexr!
Aloha, you guys are so cute...excellent reaction to a great song😂❤😊
The lady was feeling the song.
Nice love song. We all know this pain. Got to keep rolling on. PEACE TO ALL
You might enjoy “I Need You” from the “Second Helping” album, especially Carol.
Cool reaction. Great great band. You need to react to this band Freebird song. The rock n roll anthem. Cheers mates!
They were my first concert i had just turned 17 it was April of 1977. Nazareth opened the show.
Great reaction Elie and Carol!
Made In the Shade would be a great song to check out. It's a deep cut, but that doesn't matter with Skynyrd. All their songs are great.
Skynyrd doing what they do best - Southern Rock Ballads. I love the other sings but I feel that this one is their best.
This sound is crazy. Like living in a cave. Echo....

You need to do Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd
One of my favorites of all time...grew up on, simultaneously like Eminem and crap lol...im 32
Lynerd skynerd classic southern rock band! Most of them died in a tragic plane crash!
only 2 actual band members died in the plane crash, 5 survived...one of the back up singers a road manager and both pilots also died...
I read before that Tuesday is NOT the name of someone but that the divorce he was going through that he did not want was finalized on a Tuesday.
Blues = Sadness
My name is happy Gilmore
she is gorgeous but the piercing "s" sounds are brutal
I guess he’s leaving his woman to tour with the band. The life of a Rock musician is hard, I suppose. Tuesday is a metaphor for a woman.
Tuesday was his woman that divorced him, listen to the words.. “ she just had to be free”
Watch Dazed and Confused if you haven't. Cult classic.
So there’s only one thing you’ll ever need to know… and I believe you’re beginning to figure it out… the ‘70s had the best music of all time! 😊…. end of discussion LOL!
Tuesday, April, Jennifer, or Lora,,, she's gone
this is the original version but Metallica`s version is worth a listen as well
You can tell by my channel name that I love this song. 🎶❤️🎶
I love you guys but update your mics
Waiting for ur lovely reaction on srk movie jawan third song.
Tuesday was his girlfriend and she wanted to be free so he left her! It hurt but he moved on! I'll try again somewhere else!

That plane crash took so much talent away!
you two are fantastic but not yet enough songs like from this timeframe, first timer here
first few years hearing this, it meant nothing to me. ... Lose enough things in your life & loved ones & then you may feel it.
Tuesday is his Girlfriends name and she no longer loves him. He has to start over somewhere else.
I went and looked it up so not my interpretation. Similar to Free Bird, Tuesday’s Gone is about the struggles of a performer and a love he had to leave behind for the success of his career. I think by the end of this she is considering leaving you. Just sayin....
