I really do appreciate the fact that they come at us like this instead of not saying anything for another year. A delayed game is better than a rushed game

You know although it sucks that we gotta wait, I appreciate 100% how forthcoming they were with updating us instead of just not bringing it up or something. If Cyberpunk taught us anything, I would rather wait for an amazing game than get a rushed one released right now. Major respect to the development team for being so transparent with us👍
I am happy Cyberpunk released the way that it did. It was fun to look at, although some things were really bad like losing save files or causing serious crashes.
Cyberpunk was delayed over and over again bruh
Yeah, but hopefully they aren't doing a security breach and changing stuff just because people already thought of it and are just taking somethings people want in the sequel and using the things we want to make the game better. I hope that this game is good to prove the trolls wrong. I just hope the game's decent at least and surpasses and/or fixes and enhances the things that were in the original at most. If it even releases with some things being okay I'd still love it.
Both cyberbug and security breach
Cyberpunk had 10 YEARSSSSSS. AND THEY FORCED THERE EMPLOYEES TO WORK TO HARDDD
Just the fact you're being open about to us like this is so bold and genuine. I honestly don't care if the development takes longer. Take the time that works for you.
Sorry to ruin this, but i guarantee that they don't see this comment in it's entirety because the only way they can really read this is by using the automatic youtube translate, which is complete garbage. So they either

PREACH ON, BROTHA!
I love the straightforwardness and honesty here. They just come out and say, "Hey, we have a vision for this game, but need more time. Please be patient and trust us." I don't mind the delay one bit, either, to be honest. It just means they can polish up the rough edges and make the game better in the end. After all, as Miyamoto has said, "A delayed game is eventually good. A rushed game is bad forever."
Yes. I agree.
And even rushed they made Majoras mask in less than a year :0 not saying that they need to rush jaja, they are making sure the botw sequel is amazing and am down✨
I agree. It'll be well worth the wait for those who enjoyed the first. I just hope I don't die between now and then. lol. When someone suddenly cuts me off in traffic and I have to slam on my brakes, I don't think "Oh no! I'm about to die!"... I think "Oh no! I'm going to miss out on *insert highly anticipated video game, book, or movie*"
Not gonna lie, I am very disappointed and annoyed but your right I should be patient because they definitely are working on something good, in fact I should be prazing this decision for being honest with us are trying to make it the best they can.
@@guillermoantonio7474 I don't think that it was a rushed game just because it was developed quickly. They didn't try to bite off more than they could chew with Majora's Mask, and instead focused on developing the game around what they knew they were capable of with their time restraints. Majora's Mask isn't really an exception to the rule, because they were working efficiently within a short amount of time, not trying to rush to make something which they didn't have enough time to finish.
I appreciate this, they realize they can do much more than they originally planned and need more time, and formally told the fans and apologized, that’s all it takes to make a good game, time and respect on both ends. If only other companies didn’t rush production and development of games that could have been more than what they are.
I always say I wish I could play BOTW again for the first time. That was such a fun time and I hope that's how I feel when this comes out!
Yeah I feel like playing it a second time is nothing like playing it originally
Factsss
@@RavTheQueen That is very true indeed. The game puts a huge emphasis on exploration and discovery. I remember how much fun i had, walking and climbing around the whole map, to get to a point that looked interesting. But that is only fun if you wonder if there is something. If you know that there is nothing on that mountain, it’s not fun to climb that mountain.
But yes the first playthrough is a magical experience and thinking about it, makes me even more excited for the sequel !
@@frantschou2369 I feel like magical is the only way to describe the first playthrough of this game and I haven't found a game that is even close to being like that ever.
I just hope they have more advanced cooking. Stack effects, you know? That was and still is one of my main annoyances in the late game. You have to choose what you want those half hour powerful effects to be. Most ingredients just start accumulating never to be used again. Like, for instance, all of the fruit and meat. Why use them when you can cook a single small hearty radish? Things like this, I really hope they redesigned. I want to feel the need to pick up ingredients, when I spot them, past the first 10 hours.
I'm glad when game companies explain that they're delaying a game. Not only does it not overwork the workers by setting them a deadline, but doesnt leave fans waiting annoyed when the game isn't released by the suggested release date!
Also the fact they recognize they need more time to deliver a game for it to be up to the highest standard knowing they can lose clientele is something to respect

Eiji Aonuma has that fresh cut
"Breath of the Wild" was delayed multiple times, and we ended up getting a masterpiece of a game! I'll gladly wait a little bit longer if it means that the sequel is as good as the first.
Cyberpunk was also delayed. If they're going to delay it after saying that production was going smoothly for months then the least they can do is give us any information about the actual game, a 3 second clip isn't enough.

Honestly I respect Nintendo for being open about this instead of just letting us wait for a whole year being completely confused. And he doesn't even do it behind a Internet page, he literally comes onto camera and tells us directly which means a lot more than people realize.
Take as long as you need Mr Aonuma, we waited a long time for the original game and it was very well worth it.
I’m honestly amazed by this more than disappointed, a lot of Nintendo’s new games have felt unfinished, so it’s great to know they’re putting as time and effort as they need into this

This is what I like to see from developers, it's honestly refreshing. Especially as of late, it seems that major games keep being rushed and released before they're done; saturated with bugs and issues. For the biggest example, even though I'm a very big fan of the fnaf games and Security Breach, I would have MUCH rather waited another 1-3 years for the game, if it meant it would be finished. It was a fun and creative idea that would have shined and been a special experience if it wasn't borderline unplayable at times. With Breath of the Wild, it was such an amazing experience to play. I still remember eagerly waiting for new updates and trailers, and now have countless hours in the game. Breath of the Wild 2 has every potential to live up to its predecessor, and I don't want that experience to be ruined by something as small as a promised release date. I appreciate the mature call to delay the date and appreciate the transparency. I by no means support a lot of Nintendo's decisions, but when it comes to the developers of this game, I appreciate it.

I think they should just push the initial announcement to a later date so that they can be more accurate with their release dates
They don't delay them to make them better, that's what they used to do, delay a product because it needs bug fixing and polishing.
Nowadays they delay something because they're worried it won't make the next financial quarter or next year's profit margins.
This game been delayed purely on horrible designers, which have no heart, controlled like puppets on a string by upper managerial executives who know nothing of game mechanics.
Well imagine that huh? It's happening more and more often, and as the business sector continues to diversify and expand their executives, the development team is always under continued strain. They only want a pay check for a job, there is no more heart and soul, they do not do what they love, it's all a farce.
It will be a rushed mess like nearly every game now, with missing features or changes that weren't warranted - and why? Well because the consumer means nothing, you're just a number to them. They game will come out when they figured out how they'll make money from it and how they'll market it to improve sales on their switch device. Then it will be rushed and underdeveloped. Wait and see 🤣
This is really more of a meassure of protecting their employees mental health than anything else, Nintendo is actually anti-crunch and had been like that from many years, there are reports of them being anti-crunch as far back as 2002 at least (when they bought Retro Studios)
Now, this also translates to a better quality as the hours the team is working are more efficient when they are actually well rested and with a good mental health, and as Mr Miyamoto says "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad"
@@botterminator have you played breath of the wild? I was wondering how they were going to make this sequel new and exciting since it takes place on the same open world so I’m very interested in what they’re going to do. But I have full faith in them!
I appreciate the honesty and the bow of respect towards the fans. Take as much time as you need sirs and madams
Actually, this is fine with me and i’m sure many were expecting this. There are so many good games coming out this year and this announcement is just the confirmation. Thanks for informing us, the Zelda team are (quite literally) LEGENDS!
Better than TPC constantly rushing the devs to release games 24/7
@@skullerclawerbandicoot7966 Facts
@uwnv Literally nothing is different than from when botw was in development.
i agree. better choice to delay a game than to rush it, a rushed game is never good. ngl i was expecting this delay to happen.
@@Tsukiru he's a bot, he's spammed this on everyone's comments
Amazing seeing Nintendo communicating with fans this way.
Even more amazing to see fans being so understanding and appreciative ❤
Its just a video bro
Nintendo fans would never be angry at their overlord so this is not surprising.
@@jewska yikes, someone hasn't stepped into Twitter lol 😬
@@animereactionz i have left twitter for good. They are a different breed.
Very happy this game got delayed. New trailer (I’ve only watched a bit of it to avoid spoilers) looks BEAUTIFUL man.
Thanks for the update. And I understand good luck and have fun
Thank god, I don't want this to be rushed, they need to take their time on this masterpiece
Yea yea yea
Don't call it a masterpiece before it's even out lmao
Besides they'd be hypocrites if they did so after all: "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."
@@highdefinition450 true
Rushed? Been 5 years and the game world was already made.
It’s good that Nintendo always has the integrity to say that something is delayed instead of ignoring it
and making trash games
Nintendo and integrity in the same sentence. lol.
@@ToadetteGamer2 ah yes, trash games that are the most popular in the World
@@ToadetteGamer2 bruh just look at your name you're the most nintendo guy on the internet right now how could you say that with a straight face lmao
Not Nintendo, but the dev team. They are two separate things. God knows what corporate Nintendo would do to the game.
TEARS OF THE KINGDOM😭🎉🎉
Thx for letting us know for one and two, take all the time you need, I want this game to be ready in all its glory so you know everyone behind you
Can’t say I didn’t see this coming but if the game needs more work to fully realize the vision, then it needs more work. BOTW2 has big shoes to fill and I can wait the couple extra months.
Shameless plug because we're top comment: Check out my content lmao
yes
Choc!! The mastersword BREAKS!!!!! I thought it was a sword that never broke but it FLIPPING BREAKS!!!!
I fully agree this game is gonna be huge dude
Well at least they are delaying it for Spring 2023 release date just to improve the game's elements and quality. I'm ok with this. SEGA/SonicTeam is also doing the same with Sonic Frontiers in late 2022 since they decided to delay it.
@@joey_pasquariello it really is my guy especially since we now know the master sword can break. In BOTW 1 the sword only lost energy/power and disappeared for however long but in BOTW 2 its actually BROKEN
I really like that this update was given. I'm perfectly fine with waiting a bit longer for a better product. Given the responses, I'd say so are many others. But what matters most here is that you took the time to talk to the fans.
Doubt the dev team reads these, but thanks for the transparency and good luck!
Take as long as you need! Thank you for the update
Wow I didn’t realise we had this update, but I’m so glad they let us know
The delay prevents this from being released during an already oversaturated holiday window; I don't mind waiting a bit more for the masterpiece that this game is about to be!!
I agree plus it allows them to polish the game more to make it a lot better!
That was the worst-case scenario, yes, but the early parts of the year (even in the Spring lull) were getting overcrowded, too (esp. with Sony - they still don't space their stuff out better and release things in clumps). So it could be crowded in early 2023 as well.
Yeah, releasing it during the holidays would cause it to overshadow some games in a way
@@amaira4651 I'd say the bigger issue is it overshadowing other games
Cool to see you in the top comments.
Hello from the modding community (:
Take all the time you need. This will be another masterpiece, I can feel it.
shhut up
but it will release spring 2023 for sure.

Over rated game. OOT was way better.
I’m so glad they’re focusing on making a good game I honestly can’t wait!
I appreciate it when developers actually take their time and put incredible efforts into their works instead of rushing it to meet a hoped for deadline. Take all of the time you need, we will be more than patient :)
shut ip
@uwnv learn to spell page + ratio+ fatherless + you fell off+ L+ nobody cares
YOU will be more than patient, I'm not feeling it lol
@uwnv Good one bot
yeah, unlike pokemon
This is what the gaming community appreciates (Note how there isn't many people being negative in the comments.) Nintendo understood the value of being transparent and not being so greedy as to release the game unfinished like a lot of other major players in gaming.
Thank you Nintendo for holding off and making the next installation BoTW just as much if not more of a wonderful experience than the first one was.
took them long enough lol
*stares at New Horizons*
Your tryin’ to trick someone by putting 80 years ago on the side of your name huh?
"understood the value of being transparent and not being so greedy as to release the game unfinished"
Have you heard of Pokemon?
Hopefully other game companies take a look at Nintendo and decide to follow their example.
@@douglaslamar1530 It’s the director choice to not delay the game, The director one of the Pokémon series has a choice to ask nintendo to delay the game but he didn’t.

If the release is delayed for better content then I am happy that this is happening!
Keep up the great work!

Not really. It can be fixed with updates, like No Man's Sky.
@Mohsin Uddin id rather it be good from the start and then improved upon with updates
Fun fact: He never said that
“A delayed game is bad, a rushed game is bad, all video games are bad, and I hate making them.”
-Shigeru Miyamoto
I think this was a Vin Diesel Quote I think.
Just a reminder to everyone that the delayed launch means they're working even harder to make the game the best as it can possibly be. The original Breath of the Wild was originally slated to come out in 2015, but because it was delayed to 2017 so that the development team could add even more to it we all got the game we know and love today.
*cyberpunk enters the chat*
It was delayed so it could release on the switch
You don’t know that
Just a reminder to stfu with your rationalizations, we don’t wanna hear it
What bothers me is at this point they've had the same amount of time between BOTW and BOTW 2 that they had between SS and BOTW, so why are we going back to the same land? They can create a whole big world for BOTW, but BOTW 2 is BOTW DLC plus sky islands? Let's just say I'm worried.
Oh god I feel I watched this yesterday, I can't believe it's been a whole year and we're a month away for this game to be out!
Same
I appreciate ! Take as much time as needed !
I fully agree on the saying : "A delayed game is eventually good, but rushed game is forever bad."
I guess that gives me another year to actually beat the first one, then.
Or another year to make more Tiny Nerdy Zelda Things
On bro😂 i still havent beat ganon
the fact my 7 year old nephew beat it is worrying
Same 😅
just keep making The Things, you are the Zelda content that's keeping us going.
This game is far too amazing for fans to get mad at this announcement. If 2 is even just 10% cooler than the first, it’ll be worth the wait.
Wow so you equal 6 years of development to just 10% of an upgrade from the original, you guy are too conformists.
It's not and it won't be. We are waiting for a disaster
@@ToxDuris it's hard to upgrade on an already perfect work.
