I was 5 when I purchased a link to the past. I didn’t even have a SNES. I woke up early every day before school just to go to my buddy’s house so we could play an hour each before school. 29 years after that, I own every single Zelda game including the Japan only(no CDi), and I’m now in process of collecting every single Zelda console. The dream is to have every Zelda game on its original console and be able to play each one as intended. Zelda taught me morality and how to be a hero. I owe a good portion of my psyche to The Legend of Zelda. My cat loves the stable trotters. When I am old and my time is coming, I hope to find a young Zelda fan whom I can trust with my collection and pass the torch to them. In a world where everyone seems to hate on everything, I can always count on Zelda to be a place of solace. Thank you, and love to all other Zelda fans out there.

This live orchestra plays just perfectly, not a single mistake or misplaced note. They even go perfectly synched with the video. I wish this was longer.
I absolutely LOVED this, especially as a cellist. That being said, nothing is absolved from criticism. Some of these pieces just simply don't sound as good without the choir. The BOTW trailer theme that everyone loves, I just didn't get that sensation of goosebumps without the choir belting out vocals in the background. It sounded empty. There were pieces where the full orchestra worked perfectly, and I did get that sensation. My personal feeling is don't shortchange a piece if you're going to perform it. Go all out! I absolutely agree with you that I wish it was longer. Twilight Princess' music is so under-appreciated. I went to a Zelda candlelight concert, and TP was the one major Zelda game that was left out, which was so frustrating.
@@nahor88 yeah I agree some of the pieces just sounded empty. That being said, it was all good, it was just missing some of the crazy full sounding harmonies and blending of a billion different sounds in a beautiful whirlwind of chords and notes. Also I don’t think any Zelda music is necessarily under appreciated, however I am at awe that a Zelda concert left out twilight princess music.
@@gooseguyfilms4460 I don't get why they didn't at least make this as long as Symphony of the Goddesses. They definitely used the same arrangements. Speaking of which, they need to bring that tour back! Absolutely loved how they'd add a piece on when a new Zelda game was released.
please please PLEASE bring this back out on tour. This was a yearly tradition for a friend and I years ago and I miss it dearly. Seeing this live is an experience I will never forget.
The Legend of Zelda franchise has been something I've played throughout my entire life. My fondest memory was playing A Link to the Past with my grandfather. He was watching me play and noticed I was getting frustrated at a simple map puzzle that he had already figured out. He was in no way a gamer of any kind, but he was an incredibly intelligent man who decided to use this simple puzzle to teach his grandson how to read and utilize maps. Rest in peace George Sylvester, your wisdom will never be forgotten.
That sounds like a great time to have had with them. Wish I had something like that with my grandparents, but they are all gone at this point. Hopefully at one point you can do the same for another in his honer.
@@ThwipThwipBoom Do you just go onto random comment threads that you don't even care about and be rude to people for kicks without reading what they even said? For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 KJV “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15 KJV If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on UA-cam and a UA-cam channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and he will. God Bless :)
Ever since the Symphony of the Goddesses disbanded, everybody was looking forward for a Zelda concert to mount a comeback.
🙋♀️
I was there in 2017 when they came to our state!!! Best gift ever. Came to find out we were emailed a invitation to meet the orchestra members but didnt realize it until after we left the concert and I am pretty sad about that.
I know I was thinking that too. Somebody told me at a convention that I went to said that they were going to bring it back but I think it might be a rumor or probably true we’ll have to wait-and-see.
@@TalonNO same! I also saw it in 2017. Literally one of the best moments of my entire life. I was in band at the time, so symphony of the goddesses inspired me to practice my flute more haha
I wonder if we went to the same concert 🤔 I’m from Hawaii btw
I've been I believe 4 times now and I'd 100% go again. I have a poster and two shirts 😎 Haha, Zelda music is untoppble.
I didn't have "live orchestra making me emotional by playing the soundtrack to my childhood" on my Friday morning agenda, but.. here we are! Thanks Nintendo ❤
I think we all felt that. ❤
Didn’t expect this today, but glad it released
And here I am, on a Friday morning.
I woke up horribly sick this morning, but this entire concert is my song of healing.
I find concerts like these always help me feel better when I'm sick. This would especially. Feel better, friend!
I've been sick the last couple days. Took some Nyquil and saw this was posted. Good half hour to relax.
I’ve got a horrible cold, so I know how you feel :)
Yeah, there seems to be so many things going around rn.
My body finally caught one rip
Wish they played sing of healing, but yeah I feel you man
I was 5 when I purchased a link to the past.

Thankyou Nintendo. After all these years The Legend of Zelda still moves me like no other. I'm 50 now and I still have great joy listening and playing your great games.
It's actually kind of interesting seeing the cues on their little video monitors so they stay in sync.
@@gooseguyfilms4460 I don't get why they didn't at least make this as long as Symphony of the Goddesses. They definitely used the same arrangements. Speaking of which, they need to bring that tour back! Absolutely loved how they'd add a piece on when a new Zelda game was released.
@@nahor88 I agree completely.
please please PLEASE bring this back out on tour.
Final Fantasy music will never be topped.
@@ThwipThwipBoomnot at all the reply a comment like this should have.
