I love this song. Amy Lee is such a power house, her and Shaun Morgan harmonize beautifully together. I am glad you did a reaction to this song. I first heard this song years ago and and the time it shook me to my core...I interpret it as two broken people...its a tragic love story.
@@Lunzatis_Palemoonshe probably can. To me there's more to being a great singer that hitting the high notes. Amy has a beautiful voice, it's something she was born with not something that's taught.
💜💜💜💜💜 Try Seether's "Fake It", "Remedy", "Fine Again", "Rise Above This", "Gasoline", "Same Damn Life" and "Country Song". Seether founded the "Rise Above Fest" in 2012 to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness.
I don’t care how many times I hear this song, it’s been hundreds and It hits deep every time. I get chills when Amy Lee’s part comes in. One of the most perfect and powerful duets. It just reminds me of a time as an angsty teenager in the early 2000s. There are so many powerful songs from that era.
Fun fact Sean Morgan the lead singer and Amy Lee dated but broke up do to Sean's alcohol addiction at the time. That's what the song she wrote called (Call Me When Your Sober) is about. After Sean heard that she wrote that song he went to rehab.
Went to a concert back in 2008-09 in Virginia, it was Shinedown headlining with Seether, Flyleaf and Halestorm. Seether performed this with Lzzy Hale and it was incredible.
At the 11:55 mark, you make mention of this song being something that could relate to someone passing away and being able to “rise above that”. Seether’s Lead singer Shaun Morgan’s brother dealt with depression and eventually took his own life. Morgan wrote the song ‘Rise above This’ in his brother’s honor. A song that is definitely worthy of your reaction.
I love this song my wife and I met we were both broken and we supported one and other and no long depressed because we understood how the other one felt. ❤
Oh finally!!!! I was wondering if you were ever going to react to Seether. My 2nd all time favorite band ever. I haven’t even watched yet but Seether is so good. So amazing!!!!!
I love Seether, my all time favorite group. They have awesome videos. My all time favorite song of there's is Truth but they have so many great ones. He did this song without her and the collabed with her while they were dating. He did Rise above this fir his brother/band mate after he committed the "cide". It's a great song. Even Country Song by them is good, a little more if a light hearted song for them, they're great. I definitely recommend the Seether rabbit hole.
Grief is not enjoyable, but it is necessary. Whatever the cause, it is unhealthy to try to skip over or bury grief. It will have its time whether you want it to or not. Might as well allow yourself to go through it and then just keep going. Great song and beautiful voices!
Seether is from South Africa, this song is about his (ex) wife choosing to stay there with his daughter when he needed to go. It's mainly the physical hurt of his daughter not being with him. I like most of their songs, I can't do their cover of Careless Whisper it's weird. I see the most random stuff👀... I've seen this video many times, I just now saw the umbrella on the ground, it looks like Umbrella Corp from Resident Evil 🤷🏻♀🤷🏻♀
BP brother, before I forget, you said the words Rise Above This right after song was done, Seether has a song called Rise Above This that is bloody awesome. Take care brother
Got to see Seether live with breaking Benjamin and Three Days grace back in the day. They did this song with Ben from Breaking Benjamins lead singer doing Amy's part. Legit got goosebumps!
Seether has a great sense of humor in a lot of their videos. This is a great song about how you love someone so much that anytime they are away from you. This would be like you said with your parents passing away. Also in a long term relationship that ends with out a sign of ending. Seether is an amazing group and you should enjoy most of their videos.
Seether is great. They are still rockin! Please do more! I like Fake It but there are many many to keep you busy. Amy and Shaun's breakup wasn't smooth. He had alcohol addiction and issues, but is better now. i have also heard she was quite a drama handful, two sides to everything.
Bruh, not listening to negative thoughts is one thing, denying you have problems would be bad for your health. Being open about needing help is important.
Seether's a great band. They have a live unplugged CD and video called One Cold Night that's really good. They do an excellent version of Pearl Jam's "Immortality" on that album.
What a great reaction BP, your ability to put into words, the emotions you are gifted, and share personal wxperience, and desire to better yourself….you are like the MiniMe of REN! Hopefully that means something to you to know that, that is how we, the world feels, about you. This a beautifull song and some people say amy cant perform live but i was at the ziggo dome in amsterdam and she did great❤ it was beautifull ❤love u amy
Amy Lee's breakup song with Seether's frontman, Shaun Morgan is epic. Its an upbeat Evanescence song that you will absolutely love!! Amy at her very best!!! ❤❤❤
The band name Seether came from the song “Seether” by Veruca Salt … which the band Seether later covered. Veruca Salt is also known for their song “Volcano Girls”

I love this song! That gravelly voice... And for all the folks that diss Nickelback, Chris Daughtry also has that sound. The loss of my husband a little more than a year ago, left me very broken. I'm working my way back together but... broken. I also write urban fantasy with vampires, werewolves, shapeshifting dragons, etc and listen to music to set the tone for me for the story, and this is an often used song in my writing playlist.

Amy Lee does have a happy song. It's called "You" by her band Evanescence. There isn't an actual video for it as it was a private song written by her to her fiance at the time and was not meant for release, however, you can find it on UA-cam with lyric backgrounds where other ppl have uploaded it. It's about her love for her fiance and them getting engaged. You should check it out.
YASSSSS!! A bit o'the metal!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Check out Halestorm!! Lizzy Hale's voice is amazing! I do love ❤️ this track, sitting here singing along.... love you brother ❣️
BP, I'm kind of with you with my wanting a song like this on a Playlist. That's the beauty of being open minded on a variety of music. We as human beings are emotional individuals who tend to deal with our emotions in our own unique way.
