I love this song. Amy Lee is such a power house, her and Shaun Morgan harmonize beautifully together. I am glad you did a reaction to this song. I first heard this song years ago and and the time it shook me to my core...I interpret it as two broken people...its a tragic love story.

Don’t sleep on Amy Lee. She is arguably the most talented female singer of all time.

Can Amy sing Opera? If not, she can't be part of the "most talented female singer of all time" conversation.

@@Lunzatis_Palemoonshe probably can. To me there's more to being a great singer that hitting the high notes. Amy has a beautiful voice, it's something she was born with not something that's taught.

💜💜💜💜💜 Try Seether's "Fake It", "Remedy", "Fine Again", "Rise Above This", "Gasoline", "Same Damn Life" and "Country Song". Seether founded the "Rise Above Fest" in 2012 to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness.

I don’t care how many times I hear this song, it’s been hundreds and It hits deep every time. I get chills when Amy Lee’s part comes in. One of the most perfect and powerful duets. It just reminds me of a time as an angsty teenager in the early 2000s. There are so many powerful songs from that era.

At the 11:55 mark, you make mention of this song being something that could relate to someone passing away and being able to “rise above that”. Seether’s Lead singer Shaun Morgan’s brother dealt with depression and eventually took his own life. Morgan wrote the song ‘Rise above This’ in his brother’s honor. A song that is definitely worthy of your reaction.

He did this song without her and the collabed with her while they were dating. He did Rise above this fir his brother/band mate after he committed the "cide". It's a great song. Even Country Song by them is good, a little more if a light hearted song for them, they're great. I definitely recommend the Seether rabbit hole.

Grief is not enjoyable, but it is necessary. Whatever the cause, it is unhealthy to try to skip over or bury grief. It will have its time whether you want it to or not. Might as well allow yourself to go through it and then just keep going.

Seether is from South Africa, this song is about his (ex) wife choosing to stay there with his daughter when he needed to go. It's mainly the physical hurt of his daughter not being with him.
I like most of their songs, I can't do their cover of Careless Whisper it's weird. I see the most random stuff👀... I've seen this video many times, I just now saw the umbrella on the ground, it looks like Umbrella Corp from Resident Evil 🤷🏻‍♀🤷🏻‍♀

Seether has a great sense of humor in a lot of their videos. This is a great song about how you love someone so much that anytime they are away from you. This would be like you said with your parents passing away. Also in a long term relationship that ends with out a sign of ending. Seether is an amazing group and you should enjoy most of their videos.

BP, your ability to put into words, the emotions you are gifted, and share personal wxperience, and desire to better yourself….you are like the MiniMe of REN!
Hopefully that means something to you to know that, that is how we, the world feels, about you. REN brought a massive number of people in your direction, and shit, you are where you were meant to be in life , only you haven’t maxed out or close to where your joints taking you. The best way to succeed in life is to have the most important thing to drive towards possible….to better the world as much as possible!

Regardless of what the artist went through later their combined talent and their performances are just perfect for some people at certain times. After this song went absolutely nuclear, they ended up breaking up mostly due to Sean's alcoholism (according to Amy) and she wrote "Call me When you're Sober" Sean heard it and wrote "Breakdown" both pretty awesome songs.

Red does this I think a bit better in a lot of their songs and they have some amazing messages in their albums, not to take away from what Seether did with this though. 2. When you talked about the darkness at the end it just made me think about Disturbeds song The Light and I think it’d be a great reaction for the channel.

11:51 For some context. This song was added to the 2004 The Punisher Movie cause of frank castle's back story or came out in 2002 but as you guessed it a perfect song for that

I've always felt that particular lyric of "There's so much left to learn and no one left to fight" applies so hard to the vengeance-based hero genre.

Seether (Carless Whisper) George Micheal cover, rarely does a cover outshine the original but they nail it. The tone of the song gives an entirely different feel..
