Seether is such an underrated and unsung band that people HAVE to listen to. They deserve so much better other than being called a Nirvana copycat. Seether forever!!! 🤘
He said it really put a strain on them and their relationship while doing this project. This song is so powerful remembering the good and bad times during the 90's and 2000's. No other duet produces this kind of emotion.
Great reaction. Amy and Shaun dated and as you may know, Amy wrote “call me when you’re sober” about his drinking. He wrote “Fine Again” about his struggle, which is worthy of a listen. You should check out Seether’s “Rise Above This” which Shaun wrote for his brother before losing him to depression. There are plenty of great Seether songs to consider.
This song is over 20 years old and it still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. It's so good This was actually the theme song for The Punisher movie Amy actually made those angel wings for this 4:15 to 4:31 my favorite shot of the video
Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan were in a relationship when this song happened. Amy Lee broke up with Shaun Morgan because he had a drinking problem. The good news is that he's sober now. Also, I was so obsessed with Amy Lee as a teenager. She's so talented, so beautiful and her voice is just haunting.
Driven Under is my favorite Seether song. Can’t describe the feeling it provides but it definitely opens up my emotions. The Gift, Remedy, Nobody is Praying for me, Gasoline, and their cover of Careless Whisper are all great!!!
Amy makes everything better! Props to whoever came up with the idea for them to be right beside each other with a door between them, great visual for the lyrical content...
This is a duet version of the original song Seether did. It was made for The Punisher soundtrack. Amy Lee and Sean Morgan (Seether vocalist) were dating at the time and had a bad breakup as his drinking problems got worse
I have never heard a Seether song I didn’t like. They are very underrated. Love them! Love Amy too. Probably won’t hear another duet with Amy cuz their break up was BAD!! Amy’s song Call Me When You’re Sober is about him. Unfortunately he deals with addiction 😢Shame cuz even after all these years I think they were such a cute couple. I can’t name another song from Seether for you to check out cuz I love them all. You won’t go wrong with any of their catalog. Have a great day Aileen 😊xx
Remedy, country song, fake it, words as weapons, truth, driven under, rise above this, breakdown, fine again, careless whisper, betray and degrade. All good songs by Seether worth listening to
I was listening to this song yesterday and another great reaction from Aileen she is simply stunning as always 😊 looking forward to more reaction from her ❤
For me this is the first time I’ve ever listened to either of these artists. But I have to say they are both amazing and fantastic sounding. I believe I’ll look farther into both. Thanks for sharing ❤️
So glad you could react to this - it's one of my favorite songs of all time, especially with this duo. Agree with everyone else, Amy Lee has one of the best voices of all time.
This is one of my all-time favorite duets. Their voices contrast but mesh so well it's amazing (kind of like Floor and Marko in Nightwish). Plus come on, you've got Amy Lee being everyone's favorite angel with dirty wings 😍
It's crazy that the same songs I jammed out to when I was younger, years later I go back to and cry because I finally listen to the lyrics and understand how sad and beautiful they are.
Amy Lee has the voice of an angel! If you can hear her voice and not get chills you should check yourself into the ER because you have no heart. I think this one was in one of the Resident Evil movies. You should check out Seether’s cover of George Michael’s Careless Whisper it is outstanding.
I've been listening to Seether for 20 years. Shaun has a beautiful voice. I have some suggestions: "Remedy", "The Gift", "Truth", "Fine Again", "Gasoline", "Cigarettes", "Careless Whisper", "Words As Weapons". I have another suggestion: Korn with Amy Lee - "Freak on a Leash", it's an acoustic version.
I owe my friend a big thanks she introduced me to Seether and Evanescence when i was 18 by showing me this music video i absolutely love both these bands
I love how 🫠 you are in the thumbnail for this 😭Already going to be such an incredible reaction before even watching!! I can’t wait to see what else you have for us over the weekend while you’re at TC 🖤
Seether started out as Saron Gas based in South Africa. They changed their name to Seether after arriving in the states and signing a record deal. Broken was originally featured on their debut album "Disclaimer" but later re-recorded with Amy Lee for "The Punisher" movie soundtrack and their remastered album "Disclaimer II"
This is my favourite song with Amy (yes even more so than My Immortal). I'm a sucker for great harmonies and Amy & Shaun have that special blend in this. The strings just add that cherry on top for me.....great composition.
The Punisher (2004) movie, had this song playing in a scene or two. It really portrays the mood and feeling of this song. Seether has so many beautiful songs, It's just a shame that the genre was on its way out. I have all their albums, and would like to keep the candle lit!...
One of South Africa's finest exports :), originally from Johannesburg, South Africa before heading off West :) Shaun Welgemoed (now Morgan) is a talent, love his voice and he sounds so incredibly to a similar band I was involved with here in South Africa; Lithium! :) Great reaction
Seether has an absolutely amazing rendition of George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” which Shaun used as kind of an apology to Amy for not being what she deserved. Just rocking’!!
i remember this song when it first came out this would be my future wedding song :) even though im 37 but still would be cool to play at a wedding ❤ Seether reminds me of first 2 albums of Creed ❤ this song was also a theme song for Thomas Janes The Punisher 2004 movie version on their movie soundtrack ;) ❤
Seether has MANY great songs. A rabbit hole you should indeed explore. One of MY favorites... "Driven Under" to name just ONE. Enjoyed your reaction and insights. Keep up the GREAT work Aileen! 🤘🤘🤘
The day my father passed way was the most difficult time I’ve gone through and on my way home with my wife to mourn right after his passing this song started lightly playing in the radio so my wife turned it a little louder and the lyrics couldn’t have been any more real. I not only see this as a heartbreak song for a relationship but also how broken i was they day he died and i keep a picture of him in my truck that reminds me of how broken i am all these years later but have come a long way to cherish and love the family i still do have . I listen to this song often and it still hits me hard everytime.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time and I'm happy you get to include it in your life now ❤ Also if you want seether recommendations go with The gift, Save today, Remedy, country song, and Fine Again
Aileen - hopefully whatever it is that's going on at this point in your life is something you can grow from and move thru. There are times when music can magnify those feelings to such a point that you have to move away from listening anymore. Hugs and hope.
Hard to pick one song from Seether, would love to see reaction to Rise Above This or Remedy - both are great songs and you started off with a banger. Love the reaction!! ❤🖤❤
I love seether and I feel like they are underrated. They are great song writers and you really feel their music. Let’s get more seether on your channel.
I grew up with Seether, they were a local band, that were known by another name back then. Was big locally, when grundge became a thing. I listen to them every week, in my playlist.
This was a childhood favourite of mine. If you want to check out more Seether I would recommend their song Breakdown. It helped me get through some tough times in my life and would love to see a reaction of it.
Amy Lee has one of the greatest voices in modern rock and metal, and you can quote me on that
"Amy Lee has one of the greatest voices in modern rock and metal, and you can quote me on that"
-@TannerHemmingsen- You said I could quote you. XD
For me, personally, Amy Lee has the greatest female Voice EVER.
not in modern rock, EVER
She's great live!
Hot take. What are u gonna say next, Pavarotti was a pretty good opera singer?
Full arc of this trilogy is:
Seether - Broken
Evanescence - Call Me When You’re Sober
Seether - Breakdown
Knowing now that they were in a relationship before Broken and Breakdown were released, and In that order, "Breakdown" makes so much more sense now.
call me when you're sober is why the relationship was doomed.
I think “Fake It”, fits in there too
@@Negative13Prod Fake It is him firing back.
Can you imagine being dumb enough to screw things up when you're lucky enough to have Amy Lee love you?
Seether is such an underrated and unsung band that people HAVE to listen to. They deserve so much better other than being called a Nirvana copycat. Seether forever!!! 🤘
SO underrated. Hell their new song Judas Mind goes so damn hard.
They just released a new album _"The Surface Seems so Far"._
Have you heard it?
@@Sadlander2 just came out here minutes ago. About to go blast it!
Previously known as Saron Gas, this group came a long way like most artists. Hearing this song, makes me want to re-watch The Punisher.
problem is the label charged prices for the music AS IF he was Cobain.
He said it really put a strain on them and their relationship while doing this project. This song is so powerful remembering the good and bad times during the 90's and 2000's. No other duet produces this kind of emotion.

Amy Lee singing with Korn in their acoustic session is insane
Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan were in a relationship when this song happened. Amy Lee broke up with Shaun Morgan because he had a drinking problem. The good news is that he's sober now.
Also, I was so obsessed with Amy Lee as a teenager. She's so talented, so beautiful and her voice is just haunting.
I was also obsessed when I was younger. I used to practice singing using her songs before puberty hit.
The Evanescence song “Call Me When You’re Sober” is about Shaun Morgan
He’s relapsed 😢
@@metracy42that's not good 😞

Who could possibly have broken Aileen''s heart? Anyone who knows her should be thankful and have loved and adored her for who she is. 😢😢😢
My exact thoughts, especially with her killer smile!
😂😂
Amy makes everything better! Props to whoever came up with the idea for them to be right beside each other with a door between them, great visual for the lyrical content...
20+ years after first hearing "Bring me to life" and Amy Lee's voice STILL gives me chills when I hear it.
This is a duet version of the original song Seether did. It was made for The Punisher soundtrack.
Amy Lee and Sean Morgan (Seether vocalist) were dating at the time and had a bad breakup as his drinking problems got worse
alcohol cost him Amy Lee, i can't imagine.
Seether - great rabbit hole to go down.
Fun fact. They got their name from a song titled 'Seether' by Veruca Salt. Another worth checking out.
Oldie but goodie. Remember seeing them yrs ago at SUNY Binghamton when they first started touring.

Seether has such a good library of songs, I hope you do more of them!
Seether is a great band, Amy has an unbelievable voice. Together they are pure gold.
As a South African, I remember watching Seether back here when they were called "Saron Gas" back in the early 2000's...what a band they are!
I was listening to this song yesterday and another great reaction from Aileen she is simply stunning as always 😊 looking forward to more reaction from her ❤

Seether's RIse Above This would be a great reaction video. Such a tragic story behind it and the official video is heartbreaking.

it has been millions of years since this song came out. it is impossible you can not have heard it before
Agreed, especially when she admits she listened to Amy Lee back then. This song was one of the most overplayed hits for several years.
@@nickdoesnthaveyoutube to be fair I don't think she was around millions of years ago. But it was a hit, T-Rex had it in his top 5 hunting songs..
Seen Seether live in Little Rock,AR and she come out and sang this with him. Think it was 2006 Unbelievable show!!
