@@ShaphanS The blade stripped or the spindle stripped? I never had a blade strip. Also if you use an impact gun as opposed to a cheater bar it puts less strain on the blade.
Kind of weird just dealt with that problem on my John Deere LA155. Next time put a little penetrating oil on the bolt before you try to loosen it. And you don't need that elaborate set up on the pulley, to loosen bolt on blade. just put a wrench on the bolt that's on the pulley side and hold as you loosen bolt on blade side ✌🏼✨ You can also find a thick chunk of rubber, to place between blade and stripped gear. Then reinstall blade get your mowing done. With all three blades. Just don't hit anything or wait until your grass is 3 feet high. Lol
That’s a great idea to stick that rubber on there. The issue I was having with the bolt for the mower deck was that the pulley bolt would loosen before the blade bolt would, and I was trying to get the blade bolt off so I knew what I was dealing with. I wasn’t sure if the blade was stripped or the spindle. Thanks for the tip, and for watching. If you liked that you should watch the setup I rigged to replace the spindle. 😂
I think it was like $3k when I got it. I prefer the lawn tractor to the side by side and if I had to buy one again I’d probably stick with the E180. I kinda wish I had the bigger one with PTO, but couldn’t justify the expense at the time.
We had the D110 and my wide wore it out in about 4 years. I got the E180 last year for her and it is much beefier and has a lot ore power. She loves it. Belt brake last week and I am doing a full maintenance and replacing both belts. I think you will like it.
You need a little anti size on those bolts
I needed a little something that’s for sure.
I put a block of wood between the blade and housing to unbolt it. quicker and once the blade is loose it drops right out. Reverse it to tighten.
That works great, but when it’s the blade that is stripped out it doesn’t work too well.

I don't have a JD, but this helped me how easy working on one would be. My mower is a nightmare to work with. Thanks for sharing!

The Jacobs Triangle Homestead it’s like I tell my kids all the time, you have to figure it out.
Why did you take off the whole deck..?
Would you buy the 180 again. What's the price for the 180
