I was already saying cut that bolt off with a grinder before you did it. I have found too that using a boxed end wrench works good for me. Puts the tool closer to the bolt head, but we all have our opinions. Yeah, the owner mowing gravel instead of grass. Lol... have a good evening.
Good job for hanging with it and thanks for the entertainment. I'm 70 on the next BD and I know the frustration these things can provide, and you saved the threads on the blade mount, but I had to chuckle anyway. At least you didn't cuss (or did you)? I would have...a blue streak!
Yessir that was hard job , but you got it ! Had the same problem onetime, pulled out my pipe wrench and a cheater bar ,came right out . I do know how you feel .it gets tough you get tougher
I don’t have a problem with you not using Jack stands. However, it was stupid to Jack it up in the middle. At least use two jacks, one on each side, so you don’t risk it tipping and either breaking the mower or you. Those jacks are only strong to a point.
I am so glad you don't have a problem with that, I was really afraid you would not approve of any of it. why don't you make a video demonstrating the only safe way to do this. oh,, that's right, you don't make videos..
hello from the stormy Ozarks Vernon!! I always start removal of bolt with impact wrench and don't need the 2x4. if that work then I get my torch! u removed ur battery so the acid doesn't spill? looking forward to your ford 9n improvement video! hows ur chicken eggs? caught some bass today before the storm came thru and then found some morels to go with my fish!! cheers!! tight lines!!
That looked far more difficult than you would expect it to be. Great job getting it done

I thought the 6 point socket would get a good hold on the bolt but I was wrong, lol

Just take the deck off. And spray the bolts a few times with pb blaster
Tightest bolts on the planet 😅

That's to much like work!! 😩 At least you got it off.
it was kind of a chore, I had to cut a lot of it out because of bad words and dirty names. lol
tuff bolts but you got it thumbs up shared
that's the second time I had to do that with a mower deck blade.
The decks can be a real butt kicker
this is the second one I had to cut loose.
I am having the same problem
That was nasty bolt, lucky it turned out before it break off, that would be bad
yes, I was afraid of that, I don't think it was really stuck so much in the threads as much as rusted to the blade adapter
Cool
thank you.
Believe in Jesus Christ and ask him for eternal life be blessed

that little incubator was a bust, not one egg hatched. hopefully the other one will be better.. you did good with the fish and mushrooms.
Why go through all of this when all you had to do was to just use an impact gun on it??? Talk about taking the hard way out:(
👍🍺
thank you.
