A rare run! Onboard GWR HST Castle Class 43170/43155 Par to Newquay line

- This happened while on holiday in Newquay a Class 150 had failed in the morning and the next available unit was this HST making for a very unusual run of a HST on a local line which has single track sections and is ran by 1 unit only every 2 hours.
I’ve heard of sprinters covering HSTs but a HST covering a sprinter😂
It seems a fair few others clocked this and joined for the ride me being a northerner didn’t know a single soul😂

Great catch, I love HSTs. Looked almost like it was running on a branch line!
Maximum speed on this line is around 40 even a sprinter is overkill
