    Let's see. Four guys (singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer). Fans close to stage. No riots. No fireworks (except the band's performance). No special effects. Nothing but raw, unfiltered, straight-up rock and roll. Amazing. This is how it was. This is how it should be again.

    • @SilversteinRescue
      @SilversteinRescue 3 роки тому +18

      Yup. I feel like he started to lose it around 1972 or 73 and wasn’t the same after that. Still incredible be it just didn’t have the same power and range he did in the 1968-1971 era. I can even hear him slightly slipping on LZ IV a little and you hear it a lot more on Houses Of The Holy. By Physical Graffiti he wasn’t even close. Always amazing though compared to most other frontmen.

He worked with LZ, the Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, R.E.M., everybody. Beam me back to the 70s, Scotty. My soul aches for that era for a lot of reasons, especially the music.

    What a great sound this live show has. I first heard this song in 1980, when my friend found a Led Zep 2 cassette someone lost on the ground in the Bronx, NYC. We were sitting in his bedroom and listened to it on a boombox. We were mesmerized by the whole record. Never heard anything like it. I was 14 years old then. I met Robert Plant some years back,I was working in a garage locally,and he came in for fuel as I was closing,I served him,I asked for an autograph,he gave it to me written on a fuel receipt I still have it,I thanked him,he asked my name,when I told him,he said it was his first wife’s name,he went to the car to look for a photograph for my son,he never had any,he said he would drop one in for me,when he was passing next,and he kept his word,I believe he lived local in the Wye Valley. These guys are amazing. I just got back from a cross country trip, Tennessee to California and back. Jamming to Zeppelin most of the trip ! I'm 63 and when I hear them I'm 18 again. Never fails.

    John Bonham plays that drum kit, it's impressive, there has never been one like it. Jimmy Page's guitar, the voice of Robert plant and John Paul Jones, uff men, are without a doubt the best rock band in history.

    Boys & girls this is Rock and Roll. John is tearing those drums up! They were so darn good. And tight. Do you all ever wonder how they sold so many albums??? This is an example as to why. Get it Jimmy! Roberts voice! John Paul was pretty good also! Every album a classic. They just took turns strutting their stuff. Epic! Gold....
