You are so right. Imagine just one of them not playing in the band it would be a totally different vibe. The four of them together made Led Zepplin what they were. (Rusty)
Perfect union …etc, can equally be said about: The Who; Emerson, Lake & Palmer; YES; The Jimi Hendrix Experience; The Grateful Dead; The Allman Brothers Band, & others.
Each group has it’s own unique “personality”, each one had fantastic musicianship, & created great music. Zeppelin, great musicians they were, also were the best cover band in history, given all the plagiarism thru their 1st 4 albums. Saw em live at MSG in NYC 1977, great concert, one of the best shows I ever saw.
About 11 years ago, I had my niece's kids in my car. I put on Black Dog and Rock N Roll, with ghe windows up and the CD player cranked. They sat in silence, just 3 little kids - ages 9, 11 and 14 - completely stunned, in awe, never to be the same again. It's great to be an aunt.
watching and listening to this, it’s sad to know that this kind of stage presence and raw unfiltered musical performance no longer exists in the world. don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great and extremely talented artists out there, but no one shows up like this on stage anymore. it’s this special kind of magic of its time. what an important time in music history. grateful to at least be able to watch this sort of footage 🧡 it keeps the magic alive.
Agree. Like to compare it with artist like Picasso, Jackson Pollock ... these people opened doors and it seems that no more closed doors are left. We are fortunate to have lived thru this rather unique time period and looking around I feel sad because (most of) contemporary artist give me the feeling of commerce.
I'm a programmer and I spend a few nights working. When my brain is tired and asking for rest, I come here and I hear Zeppelin live, so my brain "wakes up" and I'm back to being productive. It's better than coffee.
Did this people realize that they were truly in the presence of greatness? Oh, to say that they saw Zeppelin in person.. I was honored to see Robert in person on Saturday and was still blown away. Not sure what I would have done if I could have seen the greatest to ever do it like these folks did.
I saw them twice. When I was 14 and 15. I was young, but I knew I was in the presence of greatness. It was something else to see them live. Just amazing….
Every time I listen to Zeppelin I come closer to appreciating that nothing rocks harder than them. Nobody can ever truly appreciate how hard they rock. We can only approach appreciation.
Jones is the best member of Led Zeppelin. You have Jimmy killing it on guitar, Robert singing, Bonzo is keeping the time. all 3 of them gunning hard for the spotlight. Jones holds them all together in every last song! He's consistent, he's well trained, he's the most important piece!
Jewel live performance sounds better than her album, but she is only with her guitar (not a band). Kelly Clarkson live performance also sounds better than her album
Greatest riff is a good argument but even for how mainstream and overplayed it is, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ is easily still the consensus #1 song of all time
These guys are amazing. I just got back from a cross country trip, Tennessee to California and back. Jamming to Zeppelin most of the trip ! I'm 63 and when I hear them I'm 18 again. Never fails.
John Bonham plays that drum kit, it's impressive, there has never been one like it. Jimmy Page's guitar, the voice of Robert plant and John Paul Jones, uff men, are without a doubt the best rock band in history.
Boys & girls this is Rock and Roll. John is tearing those drums up! They were so darn good. And tight. Do you all ever wonder how they sold so many albums??? This is an example as to why. Get it Jimmy! Roberts voice! John Paul was pretty good also! Every album a classic. They just took turns strutting their stuff. Epic! Gold....
At a late stage in my life I seem to discover the power of LZ being a fan of PF like you. I think both are at the very top in their genre and it makes no sense to rank them. I just wish I could travel back in time ...
@jean-marcducommun8185 agreed it depends more on my mood, but they are both Masters of poetry and music! I think listening to them is time traveling...
Nobody rEminDs me mOre of my brother than Robert plant..the hair, the 70's tall, skinny with bell bottom jeans. When my brother passed away Memorial weekend on his motorcycle, I found the words to Stairway to Heaven hand written by him in his Bible. Still got it. TY Zeppelin for many great memories.
Led Zeppelin is the best rock group in history. Jimmy accomplished so much. I cannot believe anyone could have that much talent. He's a musical genius.
@@timothyball7502 no one can compete with Frank Zappa. Zappa was even light years ahead of LZ .my hands down all time favorite. 0:10 In fact, that look that Jimmy and Robert give is phenomenal, it should be on the list of the greatest moments in the history of Rock!
How blessed are we that these 4 rock Gods found each other, during our lifetime?!
You are so right. Imagine just one of them not playing in the band it would be a totally different vibe. The four of them together made Led Zepplin what they were. (Rusty)
THRU MIDDLE MAN, CALLED SATAN
THRU MIDDLE MAN CALLED SATAN
The perfect union of the right musicians at the right time, and nobody has ever topped them.
Truth!!!!!!
Robert your voice is unreal!! I love this song very sexy
I’m better
Perfect union …etc, can equally be said about: The Who; Emerson, Lake & Palmer; YES; The Jimi Hendrix Experience; The Grateful Dead; The Allman Brothers Band, & others.
Each group has it’s own unique “personality”, each one had fantastic musicianship, & created great music. Zeppelin, great musicians they were, also were the best cover band in history, given all the plagiarism thru their 1st 4 albums. Saw em live at MSG in NYC 1977, great concert, one of the best shows I ever saw.
Long ago and far away, there was Bach, Beethoven and then Led Zeppelin. The final chapter of great music.
Chopin too ‼️
Back and Beethoven didn't rip of others work.ua-cam.com/video/WoqR7ztdTCg/v-deo.htmlsi=kfmk6vuay0ZzPgb1
The greatest rock & roll band in history
@MonteGould-oh9df You have that right !!
I love the way Page and Plant stand and look at one an other at the beginnig
I always did too! 🌟
Antonin Royannais I love it too. It looks as if they were "tuning in" one the other.
I'm 62 and will always be stunned in disbelief. They don't even seem human sometimes...unbelievable every second.
Мне тоже 62. И мне это нравится.
the band that influenced EVERYONE after them!

Webster has yet to give us a word that adequately describes the greatness of this band
I thank God every day that I had the grace to grow up in this time. The memory will last a lifetime🙏
Here I am , also 👍👍
Me too❤
Amazing Zeppelin.Pure magic. This is what happens when you turn music inside/out and re-invent it!❤😂
page and plant had unbeatable on-stage chemistry
Just like bread and butter.💓
Jones and Bonham were even stronger.
No words can express but just listen to their brilliance here
watching and listening to this, it’s sad to know that this kind of stage presence and raw unfiltered musical performance no longer exists in the world. don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great and extremely talented artists out there, but no one shows up like this on stage anymore. it’s this special kind of magic of its time. what an important time in music history. grateful to at least be able to watch this sort of footage 🧡 it keeps the magic alive.
TURNSTILE does… check them out!!!
Absolutely
Agree. Like to compare it with artist like Picasso, Jackson Pollock ... these people opened doors and it seems that no more closed doors are left. We are fortunate to have lived thru this rather unique time period and looking around I feel sad because (most of) contemporary artist give me the feeling of commerce.
yes, “the feeling of commerce” is a great way to describe it!
most of the best music i’ve heard these days come from various underground scenes.
Agree, we need it now! Especially in Russia.😮
I'm a programmer and I spend a few nights working. When my brain is tired and asking for rest, I come here and I hear Zeppelin live, so my brain "wakes up" and I'm back to being productive. It's better than coffee.
This is what I do too.
Me too
So true!
it's the thrill and excitement unleashing in your blood system
Walked 60k for cancer in Toronto listening to these tunes when I was 52. 😊🇨🇦
Sensational live footage & sound of the hottest live band in the 70's.........RESPECT !
Wish music sound like this today
How could Led Zeppelin fail
BEST DRUMMER
BEST LEAD GUITARIST
BEST VOCALS
Miss you all !!
Best years of my life !!
LED ZEPPELIN ❤
What’s wrong with JPJ?
Absolutely nothing @@rafaelorantes7185
They could have failed - being without Jonesy!! 😉
JPJ was AWESOME too !
The whole band just clicked together !!
Best Band EVER !
Ils sont partis au sommet de la gloire plutôt que s'inscruster et faire de la merde comme les rolling stones et d'autres.
Plant had an unbelievable voice, completely electric
Did this people realize that they were truly in the presence of greatness? Oh, to say that they saw Zeppelin in person.. I was honored to see Robert in person on Saturday and was still blown away. Not sure what I would have done if I could have seen the greatest to ever do it like these folks did.
I saw them twice. When I was 14 and 15. I was young, but I knew I was in the presence of greatness. It was something else to see them live. Just amazing….
Fantastic ! In 1970 I was 18 years old, I remember !!
these guys were only 22-26 years old during this show, completely fully formed, original and inimitable.
Thanks to whoever recorded this in 1970, especially the sound quality for those times (y)
Every time I listen to Zeppelin I come closer to appreciating that nothing rocks harder than them. Nobody can ever truly appreciate how hard they rock. We can only approach appreciation.
Great Concert,No Hassles just Awesome Music, The Way It Should Be! 🎸🔥🎸
GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Led Zeppelin are Gods
and thieves too. ua-cam.com/video/WoqR7ztdTCg/v-deo.htmlsi=kfmk6vuay0ZzPgb1
Thank you, thank you all. The band of course, the sound engineers, the road crew, love to you all where ever you are, December 2024 😃😃💕💕
With a band this good, their live performances sound better than their albumns. Not many artists today can do that.
Kgot yjickerpp yr novkn
Tool
@@shannonwilkerson Tool is one of few bands to do it today. But they don't compare to Zep. But at the same time they are totally different.
Jewel live performance sounds better than her album, but she is only with her guitar (not a band). Kelly Clarkson live performance also sounds better than her album
King gizzard and the lizard wizard
Robert plant one of the greatest vocalists of all time, not many to touch him back then... legend
Oh yes! Jimmy Page and Robert Plant are musical geniuses.
@@barbaragentry9003 as are John Paul Jones, and John Bonham
Hands down the greatest rock song ever made with an opening riff to stop you dead in your tracks.
Not even their best song. Still a great song.
Greatest riff is a good argument but even for how mainstream and overplayed it is, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ is easily still the consensus #1 song of all time
This was one of the first Zeppelin songs I remember hearing. They were revolutionary at the time.
There will never,EVER be another John Bonham.
mangadrummer85 his son is also a great drummer
Jason is good but NEVER as great as his dad !
Plant’s primal wail sends shivers down my spine, those concerts still echo through space-time.
Bohmans in the intro makes me wail
Pure artistic at its finest. They preformed so effortlessly and with so much passion that is unmatched 😮.
I said this very thing to a person tonight 😊
These guys are amazing. I just got back from a cross country trip, Tennessee to California and back. Jamming to Zeppelin most of the trip ! I'm 63 and when I hear them I'm 18 again. Never fails.
John Bonham plays that drum kit, it's impressive, there has never been one like it. Jimmy Page's guitar, the voice of Robert plant and John Paul Jones, uff men, are without a doubt the best rock band in history.
he beats those drums like he was dating them
Best band from England. Many from America are just as good, my opinion. 4-15-2022
@@timothyball7502 Nope.
After all these years still gives chills, admiration and love. INSANE. CRAZY. Heavenly. Music makes us closest to heaven, if it is not heaven itself
That fucking tone from jimmy man. The GREATEST rock band of all fucking time!!!
MR. ROBERT PLANT...ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZABLE VOICES IN ROCK AND ROLL...AND MAGICAL...😁😊☺😎
Epic! Gold....
Best band ever
What at stealing songs? ua-cam.com/video/WoqR7ztdTCg/v-deo.htmlsi=kfmk6vuay0ZzPgb1
Music will never be the same.
I listen to Pink Floyd a lot but when I think about the ultimate rock and roll it has absolutely Led Zeppelin!
P
RIP Sweet Prince.
Led Zeppelin is the best rock group in history. Jimmy accomplished so much. I cannot believe anyone could have that much talent. He's a musical genius.
Frank Zappa can compete with him. 4-15-2022
@@timothyball7502 Well, you got a point there. Zappa was an absolute genius, and he is certainly very missed by all of us!
@@timothyball7502 I don't know. Can't dispute ungodly genius of Zappa but I feel confident Jimmy takes the thrown without a doubt.
@@timothyball7502 no one can compete with Frank Zappa. Zappa was even light years ahead of LZ .my hands down all time favorite. But Zappa was a Great Grand Master...Jimmy and Jeff Beck are only Grand Masters. Same type of WIZARD. Only no one could create play compose like Zappa. If he trained Zeppelin ... OMG....can't even imagine how an even greater LZ would sound
@@guitarttimman Zappa wanted to teach Hendrix how to read and write music and compose his own songs at a professional level. Imagine if Jimmi Hendrix took him up on it. Zappa has no equal. It would of been great to see Zappa with Led Zeppelin.
This music will Live forever. As a Kid would play my Dad's Zepplin Records. Brings back memories
One of the greatest Rock bands ever. Roberts voice was one a kind. 🤘
It’s still is.
Jimmy will go down in history as the most awesome of all rock guitar players.
Robert Plant my lord you're voice is perfection literally!!!!!
Yes! This entire concert they were godly. And watch that video from 2007 of them performing Kashmir. The man still sounded amazing!
ya his voice sounds like so young
This song is a force of nature..
Bonham's drumming gives me chills
Greatest rock band in history at the peak of their powers
