All that delicious panning and stereo choice of instruments on this song you're listening to was Page's doing. I had the fortune of seeing Zeppelin twice; once in '69 and once in '74. In '74, they themselves played the entire concert for more than four hours.

The stereo effects and the distortion towards the end of the track are just timeless. There will never be another tune like this. Absolute classic. Prince tried distortion with "Let's go crazy" but it wasn't as good.
