Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

Absolute masterpiece!
The drums at 3:04 are absolutely incredible.
3:01
3:05 - 3:22; the greatest 17 seconds of rock-n-roll history. These 17 seconds inspired me to pick up the guitar in the first place 30 years ago.

Wait… how many more times when it goes with “They call me a hunter”

Absolutely right!!!!
Bonzo fuckin screaming in the background @3:40 just absolutely hammering on those things what a madman
Heard this track a 100 times this the first i notice! Thanks man that was savage!!
How did you find out it was Bonham screaming?
He does it again when plant is singing hey oh hey oh hey oh.
That's not Bonzo. It was an echo of Plant in the recording. Apparently they had trouble removing it, so they amplified it.
Hey people with good taste in music are you here in 2024? ❤

Good music, never gets old... 🤘🤘🤘
As are 90% of Zeppelin songs. A band for the ages.
Older than that, Willie Dixon wrote it in 1962. These plagiarist's took credit for it, and gave none to Willie. They pretty much suck. Small Faces in 1966. ua-cam.com/video/tp0jZ4BGuDw/v-deo.html
And always will be
Yeah .. Even older when you consider day Willie Dixon wrote it!!
ROBERT PLANT. WHAT A VOICE

most brilliant song in the history of rock
1000%!
This song is the proof that there are bands, but they are THE BAND.
The production is perfect and it is still better than almost everything up to date, the drums are HUGE, the voice is brutal, the bass is groovy and the guitar is so tight. The solo is for me the best in rock history, a 20 second punch, doesnt need more
Powerful Led Zeppelin! The biggest band in the universe. And the best riff ever 🎸 Jimmy!!!
Damn right they still is and love led Zeppelin for sure and life 🎤🎸🎶🎵
And JPJ with the bass that adds... Sorry, can't help it... A whole lotta depth.
Jimmy could slay dragons.
Like I Tell Everyone Jimmie Page the best guitarist in the world!!
Pink Floyd disapproves of this message.
What a song! What a band! ❤❤❤❤
John Paul Jones's thunderous bass entry is perfect 🌩️... Ingenious move, doubling up on the octaves.
Bought the single in 1971 and played it at full volume on my cheap record player for days. I was 13 years old then. It's good that I was able to experience this time!
La voix de Robert Plant me donne encore et toujours des frissons ❤❤❤
R.I.P. John Bonham
(1948-1980)
4:20 absolutely pure gold
funny hows its 4.20 too
The Led Zeppelin they have been the history of Rock!!!
This is one of my favorite riffs. It's so "rude" as Jimmy says.
It might get loud was great; couldn't help but think it'd have been better if they'd have gotten Richie Blackmore and Jeff Beck with Page, instead of Jack White and The Edge. He just felt to outclass them
