The virago wf plus milorganite (sunnyland or whatever hd has) is what I do. Just sucks u can't use it on Bermuda.

Enjoyed the video, though it doesn’t apply to my cool season lawn in California, it’s always good to watch and learn, especially the math! When Spring arrives here, do you still recommend we hit the lawn with a selective weed killer instead of the weed and feed? I applied dithyopyr in the fall, but understand that mostly keeps crabgrass in check. We also get dandelions and clover, so I was planning on hitting them with a selective liquid weed killer for lawns. Thanks for all you do. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I am terrified of products like this. When I first moved into my house, I laid a similar product down, following the guidance of the “experts” at the warehouse store I bought it from. I also followed the instructions on the bag. When it was all said and done, the product had killed all the weeds in my yard. It also killed every single blade of grass on my property.
Clearly it was operator error that killed my lawn. But I haven’t gotten over it to try again now that my lawn has finally returned.
OK...Artazine will ONLY work if the daily temps are in the 80s or 90s. Be careful not to burn if using in 90s temps.

I live in the Central Texas region and have noticed that in both The Home Depot and Lowes, it is very difficult to get a 'Weed & Feed' that includes Atrizine as explained @ 5:46 in the video. The only product that included it was The Home Depot product called 'Vigoro Southern Weed and Feed'. I also examined product contents online with little luck finding Atrizine. I know Europe has banned it, maybe the US companies are thinking this is a good idea as well. Let us know if anyone knows something about this. Thanks!

I'm here in Florida also, new home owner and I have st.augustine grass,the sunniland. u mentioned ash and it's good because of a cold front..is this 4 a certain season you supposed to use it...I was about to buy the Scott's in home depot today but rather go on UA-cam and base it on people's experience etc my lawn needs help in the back yard...🙏 help me out

I'd be careful with too much nitrogen unless your lawn doesn't ever go dormant. But my assumption is your will face dormancy and if so, no more fert. Just spot spray weeds from now and all winter.
I just soded my lawn 1 month exactly ago some with st Augustin pro Vista. Some areas are struggling and some look good. What fertilizers or weed and feed can I apply today is August 4 2021 I also live in miami FL and would appreciate any info thanks in advance.
Granular weed and feed with Atrazine is not recommended for bahia …..correct ?

Alan I just recently sprayed Image weed control should I wait to spread the weed and feed? Image doesn’t contain atrazine. Secondly I remember older weed and feeds needed to be watered vigorously to avoid the burn, I’m considering the Sunniland product is this still the case? Thanks for the info. A couple weeks ago I was doing some work for one of my customers that is actually about to rent out their home. I noticed his yard was in fantastic shape and we got to chatting about his yard. He started to name some of the things he uses and I was like wow...that sounds really familiar to what I have seen you post about. I asked him if he followed any lawn care UA-camrs and I told him he should check out your channel. His response... "I love that guy!" ... haha..

Hey Allyn I live in Corona California and I have centipede grass, I have tried looking for a weed and feed safe for my turf but the southern lawn weed and feeds are not available in California from what I have researched do you have any recommendations on a weed and feed that would be safe for centipede grass? I just grab a bunch in my hand and throw it on my lawn. Bam!!! All done and we’ll see ya. My grass looks great. Using this system for 21 years. Nicest lawn in my neighborhood.

Did the float test, and found these tiny worm/larvae looking bugs with 2 mini needles sticking out the back. It was definitely chewing. Is Bifenthrin okay to put down with the Weed and Feed?
Current plan is:
Nov 24 - 3-18-18 fert {completed}
Nov. 26 - Bifenthrin followed by weed and feed
Dec 13 - Dithiopyr
Feb 1st - Prodiamine
Apr 1st - Pennant Magnum

Hay Allen just put down my first green punch 18 0 1 and no way could I put it down in 26 oz for 1400 I had to use 44 0z then watered in buy handed. Using the 8 oz .

In the Fall 2019 warm season supplement guide, Fall Step 3 shows to apply a round of pre-emergent in late December, however, there is no mention of this application in the blog where step 1 is done anytime Oct - Nov and step 2 in Jan. - March. Can you clarify if we should skip that late December round?

Thanks Allyn! I'm going to try this when fall is here. Just a note to others that I was able to find this at a Lowe's in the middle of South Carolina. It sounded pretty perfect for this fall for my yard, but I was concerned about not being able to find it outside Florida. Bag looks different, but it says Sunniland Corporation at the top, purple bag, same NPK ratio, and atrazine is the herbicide. Says Professional Weed & Feed. 50 pounds/10,000 square feet

I was wondering if you could maybe do a local fert comparison video between your Florida Sunniland product and Texas nitro phos product. I looked them up and they have a 15-5-10 with atrazine that looks pretty good to me. i don't know what you guys have to pay for it (40lbs bag) but it's looking all right to me.

We weed and feed as recommended throughout the year. But I just cant get rid of the weeds. Working in the backyard this weekend, I saw lots of weeds, like what will be dandelions. What can I do to get rid of them?
use liquid weed control to spot spray them - spray until the weeds are wet. That will help.
