God bless you and Oma, thank you for capturing these beautiful moments with your sweet beautiful mom. So happy I stumbled upon these videos. Makes me think of my grandma and great grandma and also great great grandma who lived to be 104 who came from the border of Poland and Germany. Thank you :) -Joshua.

Are you using Crisco to fry the crepes or butter? I love watching you cook, Oma. You are inspirational; still cooking at age 85 years.

Dear Oma, Thank you for making crepes with American measurements - all blini recipes online use British measurements - Taking the time to convert would have been cumbersome! Thank you, Oma & Happy Birthday!!! Love, Maria in US

Those looked really good but they are more like a French crepe...The Hungarians in my home town, Lorain, Ohio, stuffed theirs with a mixture of cottage cheese, an egg sugar, vanilla and orange rind. Rolled them up and placed them in a buttered shallow baking pan, topped them with a loose sour cream sauce sweetened with powder sugar, dash of vanilla and again orange rind. Spread that over the tops and baked them in a slow oven just to heat them up... Before serving them they dusted them with yet more powder sugar...

ahhh All your Oma's recipes are WUNDERBAR!!! Most are much like my Husband's mother from southern Germany taught me! Has Oma ever made Gefüllte Pfannkuchen mit Blumenkohl for you? (filled crepes with cauliflower and sauce) If so, would love recipe! Husband's German mother made these for him and cant find a good recipe online..I THINK it's probably very simple 😛
