Ive always thought that Lorgar and Corvus would return in a double header. With the later stalking the former, it would make sense that if Lorgar returned to the 40k universe, Corvus would not be far behind him
It would be really fun, also, if the release announcement for Lorgar came out without Corvus And then Corvus' release announcement came out like a week later Even his release announcement is stalking Lorgar
Yeah, at most, the Sanguinor could get an upgrade to be a bit more of a spiritual entity/Imperial Saint/"Deamon of The Emperor" style thing with implications of a part of Sanguinius's soul maybe being involved.
I'm a huge fan of blood angels, but the whole point of them in 40K is that Sanguinius is dead and gone. The sanguinor is super cool and I'd love to see a primarch-esk model for it in a range update but bringing Sanguinius back would be a mistake. It downplays everything that has happened in the setting given what happened to Horus and the Emperor and the rest of the Imperium in the last 10 000 years as a direct result of his death. That being said, I'd love to see Vulkan, Kahn, or Corvis return. Vulkan's dope and could do very good things for the greater imperium and it'd give the other two an excuse for GW to remember they exist.
Does it make sense to bring him back? No. But if we see the sales of space marine models dwindle, because all that we see is more primaris with a slightly different weapon, something shiny will have to happen, even if it involves jumping the shark. At that point, they might as well give us Sanguinius riding Big Chompa into battle.
Yeah, as a Blood Angels player, whilst part of me of course wants him reborn and would love to see what happens if Sanguinius came back - I think it would ultimately be pretty silly and would ruin the setting. He's too powerful. How could you use him in game and have him 'balanced', only to see him get slaughtered over and over by rolling a 1. What would become of the black rage and death company? Too many silly bits involved. May as well bring big E back and be done with it at that point.
I think that Vulkan is an easy choice. His ability to regenerate makes him easy enough to re-introduce into the storyline. He would also make a great model in plastic.
I think it would be neat to bring back Fulgrim and Vulkan in the same edition because Vulkan protects civilians and Fulgrim... is Fulgrim. Which would make one hell of a standoff.
I think it would be really interesting if the "tree of life" Russ is looking for was, in fact, Isha, since she's the eldar godess of life and is one of the few still alive. It would be a pretty good way of bringing new things to two factions at once.
on one hand, i would like for the 2 to return, especially Isha because Eldar need more love... on the other hand, i hope the eldar arent going to be a damsel in distress for the imperium to save, some forget that Isha is a literal GOD that is BILLIONS of years old and has immense power, i dont want her to be reduced to "elf gf" jokes, she's so much more than that.
@@joeblogg2957 Would you prefer an Avatar of Isha (like we have for Khaine). I feel like a God model would be too strong to convert to rules or would do a huge disservice (why I don't like AoS). But an Avatar at least of Isha could be a cool new model rather than just having a revamp.
@@Patrick-y4d1z an Avatar of Isha would be so cool, furthermore, with a living god... maybe the eldar don't need to sacrifice the life of one of their kin to summon it. Isha merely needs to select a champion and empower them.
@@joeblogg2957 Or perhaps it'd be summoned from a model that dies - so it's more like rebirth than a sacrifice? I don't know, but I think an Avatar of Isha would be really cool. I saw some people do a Kurnous themed Avatar of Khaine using Durthu from WFB and it looked awesome and actually really fitting.
Sanguinius, like Horus, should remain dead. Both of their deaths are integral pieces to the lore. Sanguinius' death not only has implications for the Blood Angels, but its symbolic to the Imperium. Right behind Horus, he was seen as one of the best primarchs by all his brothers and by the Imperium (even Angron is chill when people talk about The Angel). His permanent death is symbolic for the downward spiral of the Imperium: their Angel is dead, and the Primarchs left behind are too divisive to lead a united humanity.
Shitty Horus clone already came back and sucked - he needs to stay dead. Clone Fulgrim came back and Fabius Bile chucked him into a Necron museum for eternity….
@@armyvet7070 I'm aware. Those don't count because the Horus clone won't ever see a permanent return, and really only served as a character development device for Abaddon. Horus is dead. Sangy should remain dead. It's a completely different topic for Clonegrim but it's a flex piece for GW if they ever want to go in a wild direction lore wise in the future.
Until GW decides to do a Scooby-Doo reveal. The Sanguinor pops off his mask and the gang goes "OLD MAN SANGUINIUS!" Think about how The Lion was just taking a nap for a long time. Laziest return ever.
Should: Unless there is some kind of major shift in the direction they want to take the lore, then Fulgrim and Vulcan seem to fit in the easiest with the existing lore. Shouldn’t: Easy Sanguinius and Horus. Their deaths are cornerstones in the foundation of 40k lore. If GW uproots those, the whole building crumbles.
@@ffejpsycho I mean, he successfully cloned Horus and Fulgrim. It was perfectly fine. Unfortunately the Black Legion and Necrons are not fine. Not at all.
Sanguinius shall not return. It would ruin his entire character. His ultimate sacrifice will be neglected. Horus is 100% destroyed completely. His return will ruin Emperor's and Sanguinius' sacrifice.
Personally agree he should not be the next. However I don’t think it’d necessarily ruin his sacrifice. You’d just have to make his return equally tragic. What could you do to make him hate the cost of his return? If you answer that, you could probably make it work.
@@georgedanielsbizhe 100% isn’t coming back next, and maybe not at all. All blood angel leaks point to an updated sanguinor in the range refresh for 10th. Doubtful we see multiple range updates for BA within 10th. And there’s really no need to bring him back, the sanguinor gives the faction the perfect centerpiece model, and allows customization/character creation in a much better way than just saying “oh the primarch is fighting with my guys today”.
One theory I had was that, given their 'dual' within the eye of terror, that Lorgar and Corvus with come back as a "pair" in some narative arc akin to how Lion and Angron were both reintroduce via the "Arks of Omen" storyline.
Chaos: Fulgrim and probably with a Emperor’s Children codex. Loyalist: Either Leman or Jaghatai. I think both of them have been hinted at a little, Leman more than the Khan but it’d be interesting for the White Scars to pop back in. Ah or Vulcan since his whole artifact quest got a highlight recently-ish.
OR...... Both Demon Fulgrum and the uncorrputed clone of Fulgrum as a Loyalist. That Fabius Bile traded Trazyn for a sizeable amount of uncorrupted Emperor's Children gene seed.
The problem with Jaghatai is be brings very little to the table. He's one of the least fleshed-out primarchs and just doesn't have the widespread appeal of others.
As cool as that would be, as an EC player I would be pissed to have a fulgrim back that isn't leading my army lol. I'd like to see an EC codex with new noise marines and demon primarch Fulgrim.
@@JM-sp2iu I get that, I’m not even a big EC fan and I’d love to see what gimmick they have for them, and it’d give us another Daemon Primarch model, those are always really good.
That could be a really fun and interesting story. Like the idea that Fulgrim manages to escape his stasis field and triggers a mass shutdown of Trazyn numerous galleries leading to all sorts of trouble. We know he has a full-blown war in heaven era Krork locked up, love to see him escape too and hook up with current orks.
he is no Longer in Stasis according to some of the new Trazyn lore they are apparently ''friends'' due to Fulgrim showing a lot of interest in his museum
Corvax would be an interesting choice because he's a primarch from a codex compliant chapter but he might be the more divergent primarch in the imperium since he's basically an order demon primarch.
I would love to see a model that's a primarch standing on top of the tank that's named after them. Like Rogal Dorn on a Rogal Dorn, or Leman Russ on a Leman Russ.
So, some wolf priests mentioned seeing "a great warrior riding upon speeding winds" in one of the books and who's the fast primarch whose psykers use wind powers? Jaghatai The Arks of Omen campaign ended with Vashtor and friends going into the webway and who's the only primarch in the webway? Jaghatai Currently the White Scars and most of their successors are on their homeworld of Chogoris after fending off an invasion from the Red Corsairs I believe, however the Red Corsairs are still in system. So in summary, the arks of omen going to where Jaghatai is, wolf priests of the Space Wolves (who also saw visions of a great warrior lying asleep under stone which was obviously the Lion who then returned) also saw visions of Jaghatai and similarly to the Lion returning when the Dark Angels had all their successors together and were in great peril, the White Scars are in a similar situation. I want Jaghatai to return next for the loyalists.
Lore wise that makes sense. Unfortunately GW's decisions are driven by product sales not lore, they are perfectly happy to ignore or drop even well developed story lines and Russ will be the face of the Space Wolves range refresh, whereas Jhagatai wouldn't shift as many models as there are not as many White Scars players and there isn't a range of unique White Scars units.
@@samhunter1205 There could be more unique white scars units to be fair, so the release of Khan could spark a refreshed range of miniatures in a new way.
@@eldoriath1 there could (as in it is possible), and I wish they would do that, as the White Scars are one of the worst served legions by the current Primaris range (just outriders as bikers isn't great for White Scars chapter identity). But in terms of what GW will do, rather than what we might like to happen, GW will absolutely prioritise the range refresh for the existing chapter specific units before it releases new ones, especially ones for the less supported chapters.
@@samhunter1205 Yeah, and ravenwing does have it much better off in that regard but also feel the lack of mounted options in general. As currently is it feels like white scars are best built using the dark angels chapter with the white scars detachment. You loose out on the few white scars specific characters, but you can just re-flavour the ravenwing ones to work as count as.
I have a theory that Russ and Corax will return together. They are friends, both of them are presumably in the Warp, and there's this whole connection between wolves and ravens in the Nordic mythology.
Lorgar's been seen in lore since the duel with Corax. That fight happened during the Scouring per the Author (Not long after the Heresy, in other words), while recent CSM codexes have said Lorgar has left Sicarus and is leading a Word Bearer warband out in the galaxy again.
@@malcolm_in_the_middle Maybe Demon Fulgrim could attack the gallery and then Trazyn releases Clonegrim to fight him. I think Clonegrim leaving the gallery is not impossible but it needs some sort of special event to happen. At least that's what I think.
Not happening, at least while Trayzn remains all "The Infinite" and everything! ...plus, now he has finagled a shard of the deceiver, as his newest toy/piece of a god!!
@@malcolm_in_the_middle they could always go the boring as hell way, trayzn is willing to trade just about anything for a peice of necronTYR artifacts, and it's specifically necrontyr, so just about as old as old gets in 40k.
@malcolm_in_the_middle they could say clonegrim got out during the 13th black crusade. When the bell destroyed part of trazyn's collection, it could have let him escape.
For Curze it was confirmed that he's dead, on Soul Hunter (first book of the Night Lords trilogy) **Spoilers** Talos talks about how he chased the assassin and that she had the head of Konrad with her, plus the fact that it took like 15 minutes to start bleeding, supposedly because the healing factor of the primarch
To add to this, probably also worth mentioning that the Eldar are hunting for Curze's crown, the Corona Nox, so there's still a loophole for him to come back via soulstone shenanigans if they really wanted to bring him back.
@@lonecolamarine Why? He WANTED it to happen. If that gem in his "crown" really is a Soulstone, then he outplayed everyone. He didn't want to live, but he also didn't want to die, only to have his soul become trapped in the Warp ... so he came up with a 3rd option and pretty much told both the Imperium and Chaos to go fcuk themselves! Ingenious if you ask me.
The release of the Forge World Fulgrim means it's less likely a 40k version is getting released soon IMO. They wouldn't want to undercut sales of their new model.
Considering there’s no sales to be undercut (those playing Hh that want it get it and 40k only people didn’t) I wouldn’t assume that. My guess is within the edition we see it. It would be very GW to hope that players buy both and I bet they think that.
@@timunderbakke8756to add to this: that model is impractical as f**k for a real game (I’m stumped at how you move it amongst terrain with those huge wings?), looks like it’ll snap if you even think about it and his rules are so bad in HH that no one would even want to run him. It seems it’s really for painters, and for masochistic modelers who like to fix FW’s bubbles, bent & sagging parts, slippage, and pinning the hell out of every piece. They need something reasonable and plastic to actually use in game.
From my understanding forge world is separate from the main game workshop, they don’t really care all that much about undercutting each other… and with emperors children almost certainly getting their codex this edition there’s no way they’ll ever release them without their primarch.
I’d love to see Clone Fulgrim come back, ideally around the same time as demon Fulgrim or some time later. I know it’s one of those plot points that have been thrown into the dumpster but come on, Demon Fulgrim vs Clone Fulgrim would be awesome and narratively satisfying.
I think it'd be amazing if Clone Fulgrim actually defeated Daemon Fulgrim... Only to fall to Slaanesh in the process. It'd fulfil Fabius Bile's fears that the clone was just as likely as the original to fall to Chaos, and only really persnickity nerds would be up in arms over it. He could end up like Lucius the Eternal, absorbing the Primarch's soul and having his tortured visage permanently writhing on the bare skin of his chest.
Perterabo or Lorgar would make amazing surprise D.Primarch models, Corvax or The Kahn would be a good choice since their respective armies needing some love and attention
With the narrative of Vashtor moving into the webway, I am shocked the Khan was so low. Personally Id put him second behind Fulgrim. It just makes so much sense right now.
He’s probably the least known of the loyalist primarchs (not to mention least popular), so while he fits narratively really well there’s probably a lot of people who don’t realise that or just plain forgot about him… plus with him being as unpopular as he is there’s a real chance GW focuses on the primarchs that‘ll sell better like russ.
Interesting to me that vulkan was second behind the obvious winner. I always felt salamanders had a disproportionately large following for the nothing they get from GW. Not that surprising, dragons are markatable and popular as it turns out. Now give us a Salamanders faction GW.
@@baconblock010 why not both? It would take Vulkan to move the chapter to divergent, but if they went that way, the Salamanders could field drakes in combat, which would give them a cool niche (and also allow for melta strafing runs, lol).
Ferrus Manus coming back with his head interred in a Primarch Dreadnought (maybe with Necrodermis as some form of covering, at least on the hands?). Partially because it'd be cool as all hell, partly because it's deliciously grimdark to have that be exactly what his chapter would love, and what would horrify him the most.
That was my original idea for Perterabo. Given that wound wound Fulgrim dealt him being interred in a daemon engine dread would rock. For Ferrus, it was explicitly state that the Emperor and Malcador could have brought him back, given time. If he is brought back, I'd loke to see it done with a fresh clone body that had his actual soul stuff back Into. He wouldn't have his metal hands anymore, as was always his wish. Given that Ferrus would totally revamp the Iron Hands culture, he always hated that they went so deep in cybernetics, it would tie in nicely with the fresh influx of Primaris. You would have a fee holdout firstborn that either won't or can't cross the Rubicon and they would remain cyber marines. The rest become Primaris and become whole again like Ferrus.
As a Space Wolves player, very excited by the idea of getting our Primarch back. As for ones that shouldn't though, despite the fact that Blood Angels are really cool, I think it works better that their Primarch stays dead. Its a big part of their lore and a very strong reason for why they are the way they are.
An Alpharius kit that comes with every armor option but Alpha legion would be hilarious and very fitting for his “return”. Edit: the Bequin books have a winged former Space Marine in them, who drinks blood like a vampire and was freed from a dimensional space by Beta. Eisenhorn even has an Alpha Legion marine in his retinue at that point. And the main villain is heavily implied to be one of the missing primarchs.
As much as I want Vulkan to return, I think a Leman Russ vs Fulgrim release would be massive! Both in the Eye of Terror, could easily make a ripper story about the two of them fighting for their respective loyalties.
As few as possible would be my answer. Fulgrim is a given now that the other 3 chaos legion got theirs, but I'd like him to be the last one. It's no gonna happen, but that would be the ideal scenario still. 40k themes were always about the desperation with a glimmer of hope, the stagnation and encroachment in belief, the lack of progress and compensating with numbers to face all the threats, having lost all those mighty heroes and legends of the Heresy era. The Primarchs returning comes with all sorts of problems that defeat those themes. It could be fine if some of those returns would bring really interesting concept and originality, like what if Leman is now all mutated and "wulfenized" by having being in the warp for so long and is now being seen as a mutant, which would not sit well with a large part of the imperium and his brothers and some of his sons. Or having some confirmed dead finally (they could find the remains of Dorn finally, and having intersting story around that). Just random examples, but GW will never do something like that, instead they will just return and all will be good and dandy. Then when everyone will be back, there's won't be any mystery to the setting and it'll become so much more stale.
For a while, Dorn was confirmed dead as he was slain by Khorne berserkers, and the IF had his full skeleton. It was then changed to just his fist. Apparently the IF are bad at keeping track of their most treasured relic.
As someone who is a space wolves player i would love to see leman come back. But i think Vulkan should come back to fix the golden throne and be a weapon smith that could help the armys of the empire of man. The lion is back so there's the warrior, Gman is the logistics support, just need someone who can craft new weapons and armor. so Vulkan should be the one to come back
Perturabo coming back would be interesting, seeing how he would get on with both Vashtorr and Bel'akor. Would he lead a dedicated Iron Warriors faction? Would he even have a new form? I really hope GW give him some new lore with some new character traits. I also hope they don't phone in his model by doing something daft like a Lord of Skulls conversation.
@@Mechagodzilla128 you can’t say Vect isn’t a Primarch when the etymology is just the words Prime and Archon combined, and Vect is the Prime Archon of the Dark Eldar!
Sanguinor filling the 'slot' for Sanguinius, like Abaddon fills the 'slot' for Horus, could be a very interesting direction. I expect to see Fulgrim Perturabo Vulkan in that order. (It seems to be roughly 2 Traitor, and 1 Loyalist if the pattern continues)
Leman Russ seems to me like the best pick and most likely pick. The Space Wolves are due a range refresh, and having that tied with his return would also be great for the chapter's lore hesitations around primaris marines. He is officially alive, and the Space Wolves are one of the most played SM chapters.
Alpharius/Omegon would be such a weird character to implement though. Because part of their whole thing is it could be anyone, so do you have a unique miniature? Is it something like each turn you can choose to attach them to any other unit? Or something like if they are killed, they reappear attached to any other unit or replace a model in the squad they are attatched to until that squad is destroyed and then moved?" They'd have to be like a slightly stronger and wouldn't that be too much like a mechanic for Vulkan? His whole thing is he can't die so does he always get back up but maybe after a phase or something?
Could probably just replace a character that is still alive. And give him a separate abilities depending on if he respawn as attached to a squad or not. That way he has a clear limit on how many times he can resurrect, and there is a definite counterplay plan to prevent/reduce the number of his resurrection. Or, if you want it to revolve around dice roll: You start with 2 dice on first round. At the end of the turn, if Alpharius is dead, roll those die, and if you roll one 6, he revives back by sacrificing one model in your army. You also gain more dice each round, so he'll be more likely to revive the longer the game goes. This way, *everyone* in your army can technically 'become' Alpharius, but at the same time, given how often he'll resurrect in this way, I don't think he'll be too strong stat-wise to balance things out.
My guess it will either be; Lemun Russ because memes have reduced the Space Wolves to crazy Furries and Lemun will be an attempt to bring them back to being cool Viking Bezerkers. or Both Corvus and Lorgar together as the next Imperium/Chaos event in the future.
Surprised and glad to see Vulkan voted so highly by the fans. My impression was that he was kind of mid in terms of popularity. Also Fulgrim could be a lore reason for putting primarchs to sleep again should GW decide they want to reset storylines 😂
Vulkan is the Primarch that everyone loves but is barely anyone's first pick. The best man to their favourite legions' groom. I used to lean towards Imperial Fists but after learning more and more about the Salamanders they've swapped first and second positions now. Dorn (and Guilliman, but he's already here) is the primarch we need, Vulkan is the primarch we deserve. Vulkan lives! **stomp stomp**
Primarchs who I defiantly should come back Traitors: Snekgrim, Lorgar and Pertuabo Loyaliist: Leman Rus, Corvus Corax and Jaghatai Primarch who might come back but its unlikely Traitors: Alpharius Omegon (while we do know one of the twins is dead, its is not 100% comfirmed if the other twin is dead, if he is event still in control of his legion any more or where his true alignment is Loyalists: Ferrus Manus (only if he comes with the Return of the legion of the dammed as an Imperial Greater Daemon), Vulkan (assuming he managed to reform his body after that Wagghhh energy explosion. Even if he did its unlikely he would ever return to the Imperium seeing truely corrupt and oppressive it is going against all of his personal moral leanings and thinks its just not worth saving the Imperium anymore) Rogal Dorn its not yet confirmed if he is truly dead or not in the current lore because if he had actually died then the traitors especially the Iron Warriors and their primarch Pertuabo would be non stop gloating about it especially to the faces of their most hated rivals the Imperial Fists yet for some reason they are rather silent about it. Primarchs who should not come back and should definitely stay dead Traitors: Horus (his soul has been erased from existence and his former first captain Abaddon is already filling his successor role) Konrad Kurze he wanted to be killed by that Imperial Assassin Loyalist: Sanginius should definitely stay dead and his role for the modern 40k era is already being filled by Dante, Mephiston and the Sanginuor
While fulgrim ideally is released first to finish up the four god factions, I’d really love to see a Corax and raven guard Vs. Lorgar and word bearers. Not likely any time soon I’d wager, but damn that’d be kinda rad.
Id love to have a Konrad model! I love the Night Lords lore and the fact the Konrad did what he did because he thought the future set in stone and went with the flow rather than fight the current.
IMO Chaos really needs the Slaanesh aligned EC Codex, so I hope Fulgrim is next, for Imperium I hope for the return if the Khan, because he has significantly more braimcells than the other (realistic) options combined. I also wouldnt be against a Lorgar/Corax duo release.
Fulgrim makes the most sense to be next. Getting the emporers children and him in the game finishes off the mono God factions. That would give regular chaos some room to go more along the lines of lost and the damned or dark mech
What if Ferrus Manus returns as a head connected to some sort of life supporting machinery like a dreadnought (or something similar to the fabricator general of mars who is just a huge block of computer)
I'd like for Jaghatai Khan to come back as a massive grotesque esque creature leading a raid after Drukari have done some foul work on him from his time apart and it's only mid battle when the black iron helm is broken that his brothers realize who it actually is and work to either end his suffering or wrest him from the Drukari to try and change back. Bonus points if the battle involved White Scars and Space Wolves, bonus bonus points if Leman Russ is the one that has to duel him as I'm pretty sure they were somewhat closer in the lore.
Don’t think russ and khan got along in the lore… khan was only close to Horus and Magnus, and was treated as an outsider or outright hated/mistrusted by the others. Still would be a cool story line, though if we want a angsty duel to free him it could be cool to go with Magnus, force the two to work together for a time (plus the thousand sons are constantly trying to get into the webway).
@@Swampert919 Fair enough may have been more like tolerance, I thought Russ had been at a point where he actively chose not to antagonize the Khan and otherwise seek a fight which was a character building moment since before he'd have just fought him without a thought but I'm hazy on the details. Still the dynamic would be cool imo regardless of who is actually brought to bear.
Your telling me you would love to see at the very least a clone of him come back, not to mention the possibility of him leading the legion of the damned as ghost rider primarch, or just a Frankenstein thing the iron hands put together.
Honestly, just have him come back as some nasty living-metal golem. Those iron hands of his were sorta implied to be leeching into his brain, just have him show up somewhere having slowly regrown his body.
I’ve always wanted to see Ferris to comeback as a dreadnought of some kind considering the strong connection with the Adeptus Mechanicus and Iron hands it could be a cool idea
Honestly would prefer him being a good demon primarch akin to the blood angels one. Like we all know emperor did something with warp entities to create the primarchs so a dead on being something akin to a demon or kaldor is not a bad idea lore wise. Just enough to add him back without upsetting the whole setting like gulimans return
Blood Angels collector since 1998 and Sanguinius absolutely should not come back! It’s such a key part of the lore. But! A primarch-sized Sanguinor I’d be absolutely up for that.
Honestly a great twist would be to bring loyal clonegrim & traitor fulgrim into it really puts a massive spin on things the only ones that shouldn’t come back are sang & Horus
Wpuld love to see Lorgar return next since he's my favorite of the traitors and he is supposed to already be back Logically though, it should be Fulgrim. He's the only monogod daemon primarch we don't have yet. Wouldn't make sense if they don't bring back the last monogod primarch before we get the undivided ones
I suspect that the next two to return will be Fulgrim and Corvus Corax (typed before I finished the video). Fulgrim is the most likely one simply because he rounds out the quartet, it's rumored that the Emperor's Children are getting a codex this edition, and he already has a demon primarch model released for 30K by Forge World. Corax, on the other hand, is admittedly more speculative. My main reason for predicting Corax to be the next loyalist primarch is because unlike Jaghatai Khan and Leman Russ, he's actually appeared in a Black Library story set in the contemporary era, where he terrorizes the Word Bearers on their home turf as a not-a-demon. Honestly, Corax as a shadows incarnate primarch would make for a sick model, given how GW's gotten a whole lot better at sculpting ephemeral-looking things over the last few years. Personally, I would like to see Ferrus Manus return, but only as a primarch dreadnought, with the reason why it took the Mechanicus so long to bring him back being that Cawl hadn't yet invented a sarcophagus-analogue that could revive a severed head.
How Sanguinius is not closer to the bottom shocks me. If he came back it would break the lore. He would be too powerful and if he got a power boost from being a Greater Demon of The Emperor. He would destroy any of the Chaos Demon Primarchs.
The healthiest thing for the game would probably be fulgrim with emps children getting a faction update THEN instead of doing codex demons and all the divergent csm factions, you get codex nurgle, codex slanesh etc
No affiliation with EC here, but I love this idea so my Tzeentchy stuff can just come in the same rules as Thousand Sons. I also hope this would allow the new detachments to offer extra rules support based on the monogod book. It wouldn’t be hard to say “if your army is , you may only do 25% points without that keyword within this book” Maybe toss the old collectors a bone with a separate detachment that’s daemons only but can soup them up, leave rules in each book for it.
As a major Space Wolves fan, I kinda don't want Leman Russ back just yet... as his return is kinda the Wolftime, which is the end times. Leman needs to return with some epic legendary gamechanger story plot. Kinda want him to free Isha, since one of the things that it was speculated he went into the warp for was looking for the Tree of Life to heal the Emperor, and I could see the Eldar calling her their Tree of Life. I honestly kinda want Khan back since I think the White Scars deserve some love first. Plus a Priest of the Space Wolves saw a vision that sounded like it could be the Khan returning... and then theres the whole thing with Vashtor and the webway.
What would be interesting, and it would really shake things up and piss off certain people, is that if one of the three loyalist primarchs that went into the warp: Corvus, Russ and the Khan, came back having turned to Chaos. Possibly a demon primarch. It would make sense since they have been in the warp for 10,000 years. It would make those three chapters into Dark Angels in the sense that they are half loyalist and half traitor. So there could be Chaos White Scars, etc. It would be an interesting plot twist, but like I said, some people would not like it.
I am a Space Wolves player and I would love that twist. Imagine Lemon comes back looking mutated by the Warp, becoming more Wulfen like. Big Berserker energy. That would be crazy and I personally think 40k could use a cool shakeup like that.
I dig it. Of those I’d say Corvus is most likely to abhor the Imperium as it stands and go renegade. Would be siiiiick if he could summon shadow daemons to control (new units for renegade RG to play with), and if they had the brass pair to really make him go Chaos, he’d be best buds with Be’lakor because shadow entities, fuck yeah.
@@Backstabmacro Making Corvus go completely Chaos is total bs! Why would he suddendly work together with the entities who machinated the wholesale slaughter of his beloved sons? It broke him and he set out to take bloody vengence! Making him turn would be a betrayal to his lore and character!
Who shouldn't, well the 3 dead, Alpherus/ Omegon, and Leman Russ (he said he will return in the end times and there are other more accessible primarchs)
I would love to see them do Corax as a loyalist demon primarch. It would really shake things up and might let them split raven guard out from the main codex into a single faction. I also would like Russ to be a wolfen version of himself when he returns. I know this might be unpopular with some people but I think some big shifts like this would give the marines a bit more flavour. Fulgrim should still be the next to return though, emperor's children need a codex and model range so that each chaos god has representation
Next traitor should be fulgrim to round out the four chaos gods Loyalist I’d say dorn or vulkan Shouldn’t : any primarch that has died either during or after the heresy at the hands of another primarch
Jaghatai Khan coming back would actually be awesome, the White Scars have such a cool, unique theming to them and there should be more stories for them. Their previous Chapter Master, Kyublai Khan, also disappeared in the webway chasing Drukhari raiders, it even happened quite recently in the lore, I believe during 8th edition when everything went off the rails, and he was succeeded by Jubal Khan after he didn't return. I could definitely see a cool story unfolding where Kor'sarro Khan travels into the webway in search of his missing brothers and Chapter Master and ends up finding his Primarch and helping bring him back.
I personally realy hope they dont do any shenanigans to resurrect the confired dead primarchs, I dont mind them bringing back primarchs and for the loyalist ones the two theyve brought back actually fits with establishd lore as Gulliman was always ment to come back once hed healed that was the point of putting him in stasis, and the Lion was flat out prophesised to return when needed most (which certainly fits with the current story). By that loginc my bets on Russ, as again fits with the lore of returning for 'the wolftimes' and also, Space Wolves are SUPER popular. Id be ok with them making some kind of ascended sanginor avatar thing for the blood angels but dont make it a full on resurrection of sanguinius that would just be crap.
I truely believe that we will see Drukari, Aeldari and Emperors Children all come out together tied into a story line as it would be a fantastic story event which could revitalise all three factions.
Chaos is pretty clearly going to be furlgrim, while loyalists would be a toss up between Jaghatai Khan and Russ. i would also love to see Corvus Corax come back as a "totally-not-a-daemon" primarch to rally the raven guard
Watching your video, an interesting idea came to me: what if we switch Curze with Corax? Corax returns from the Warp as a demon, and Curze actually was delivered a message from the Emperor by M'Shen and revaluated his views.
Lore wise it makes sense for Vulcan to come back next. He could help Cawl figure out the other pharos devices and punch some corridors through the warp storms separating the galaxy. That would both be a boon for the imperium and absolutely define the next set of warzones as Abaddon and chaos work to take those sites and shut them down or destroy them. Model wise the best loyalist would be the Khan. You could launch an entire new codex and range of miniatures to make a space marine rapid strike army with jet bikes and such and the army aesthetic as Mongols would be awesome to see and opens up an entire new miniature range to drive sales.
I think for the Blood Angels they are letting the Mephiston storyline unfold a bit, they might even get 2 centerpiece type models, one a primarched-up Sanguinor, and another one for the black angel / Mephiston
I personally think that the most interesting twist to Curze's story is if he did come back to life in a way he didn't foresee. He would learn (finally) that the future can be changed and would immediately have to take all responsibility for what he did. I don't think he should come back but it would be very interesting if he did.
Another option is Clonegrim. A perfect and untainted clone of Fulgrim, made by Fabius Bile and traded for a catch of gene-seed with Trazine the Infinite. It would be interesting to see how this phoenix would rise if he was ever released.
Even though I might not be a fan per say of the Emperor’s children and Fullgrim, I’d like to see them next purely to have a proper playable faction of each Chaos god, now that we have for the first three.
My money is Fulgrim would be next to complete the Chaos Pantheon with Slaneesh being represented by the Emperor's Children After that I personally would want to see the Khan come back since the lore is leaning towards Abaddon and Vashtorr heading to the webway, but it is more likely that Leman Russ would be the next loyalist Primarch since the Space Wolves are their own subfaction
I haven’t finished the video yet, but before I get to deep, I wanted to say this now. I don’t actually play the table top game, but I’ve always loved the setting and lore and designs of the game. If my favorite primarch, Jagatai Khan comes back, I might actually pull the trigger and start a White Scar army.
Also we will never get horus back, he was literally annihilated from physical and pyschic realms so he could never come back like hes perma dead. If they brought him back id be very disappointed

To be fair, none of the primarchs should be back.
Not even the daemon ones.
The entire setting suffers for it.
@@jorgemontero6384I’m all for bringing him back tbh. It’s 40k and they can use whatever bullshit they wanted. Best primarch imo
I can see Sanguinnius come back as a shattered ghost, that dies at the end of round three as he cannot hold his form for long.
I think that Vulkan is an easy choice. His ability to regenerate makes him easy enough to re-introduce into the storyline. He would also make a great model in plastic.
Vulcan lives!!!

Clever
on one hand, i would like for the 2 to return, especially Isha because Eldar need more love...
on the other hand, i hope the eldar arent going to be a damsel in distress for the imperium to save, some forget that Isha is a literal GOD that is BILLIONS of years old and has immense power, i dont want her to be reduced to "elf gf" jokes, she's so much more than that.

But we all know, that GW would happily maul the lore to sell miniatures.
Iom is not in spiral anymore.
Until GW decides to do a Scooby-Doo reveal. The Sanguinor pops off his mask and the gang goes "OLD MAN SANGUINIUS!"
Think about how The Lion was just taking a nap for a long time.
Fabius Bile managed it, with Horus...and that turned out fin... oh wait...

Loyalist: Either Leman or Jaghatai. I think both of them have been hinted at a little, Leman more than the Khan but it’d be interesting for the White Scars to pop back in. Ah or Vulcan since his whole artifact quest got a highlight recently-ish.
I would love to see the Khan come back and maybe let the white scars have a biker captain again.
I think dorn has a fair chance
OR...... Both Demon Fulgrum and the uncorrputed clone of Fulgrum as a Loyalist. That Fabius Bile traded Trazyn for a sizeable amount of uncorrupted Emperor's Children gene seed.
I'm curious what's going to happen with Fulgrim. He just got a resin kit for his ascended form in 30k. Makes me wonder what they have planned for 40k.
The problem with Jaghatai is be brings very little to the table. He's one of the least fleshed-out primarchs and just doesn't have the widespread appeal of others.
Honestly I’d love to see a Loyalist Fulgrim get used, there’s a literal pure, loyal clone of him in Trazyn’s galleries just sitting there in stasis.
They could give him the Red Scorpions. However Idk how Papa Smurf and the Lion would take his origin.

Definitely agree on the corvus and Lorgar.
If they release them as a combo. They need to make it so you can pose Corvis with Lorgar over his knee. Getting spanked like the petulant child he is.
A double Primarch release would be absolutely insane
Lol I read that as "neurodivergent chapters".
Jaghatai
The Arks of Omen campaign ended with Vashtor and friends going into the webway and who's the only primarch in the webway? Jaghatai
Currently the White Scars and most of their successors are on their homeworld of Chogoris after fending off an invasion from the Red Corsairs I believe, however the Red Corsairs are still in system.
You can't trust wolf priests. They predicted the Wolf Time and the return of Russ like 3 times already, but they keep coming up with new prophecies.
@@samhunter1205
There could be more unique white scars units to be fair, so the release of Khan could spark a refreshed range of miniatures in a new way.
@@eldoriath1 there could (as in it is possible), and I wish they would do that, as the White Scars are one of the worst served legions by the current Primaris range (just outriders as bikers isn't great for White Scars chapter identity). Oh god that's the coolest fucking idea ever. Yes. Gimme!

As for ones that shouldn't though, despite the fact that Blood Angels are really cool, I think it works better that their Primarch stays dead. Its a big part of their lore and a very strong reason for why they are the way they are.
Vulkan!
If you mean the King in Yellow, he's all but confirmed as Constantin Valdor
As much as I want Vulkan to return, I think a Leman Russ vs Fulgrim release would be massive! Both in the Eye of Terror, could easily make a ripper story about the two of them fighting for their respective loyalties.
Horus went from 0% chance to 0> chance after thst line from the newest book. Emperor making some reference to meeting them again
I would want the Khan to come back just cause it would be cool. But realistically I can see Fulgrim for chaos and Russ for loyalist
The lion is back so there's the warrior, Gman is the logistics support, just need someone who can craft new weapons and armor. so Vulkan should be the one to come back
moar liek Vulkan takes one look at the state of the Imperium in the 41st millennium, and immediately activates the Terminus Decree!!
haha
Perturabo coming back would be interesting, seeing how he would get on with both Vashtorr and Bel'akor. Would he lead a dedicated Iron Warriors faction? Would he even have a new form?
I really hope GW give him some new lore with some new character traits. I also hope they don't phone in his model by doing something daft like a Lord of Skulls conversation.
Asdrubael Vect! He had a model for a very long time, and deserves to have a revamped model
Vect isn't a primarch, but I agree that he should come back. Dark Eldar losing their faction leader is wrong.
@@user-kz9zi7rv9p that would be everything I want and more!
@@Mechagodzilla128 you can’t say Vect isn’t a Primarch when the etymology is just the words Prime and Archon combined, and Vect is the Prime Archon of the Dark Eldar!
@@stevenburton7725 you absolutely CAN say that, because Primarch has a very specific meaning in 40k and it isn't the one you describe.
@@samhunter1205 what, in your opinion, is the only definition of the word Primarch?
Sanguinor filling the 'slot' for Sanguinius, like Abaddon fills the 'slot' for Horus, could be a very interesting direction.
I expect to see
Fulgrim
Perturabo
Vulkan
in that order. (It seems to be roughly 2 Traitor, and 1 Loyalist if the pattern continues)
It’s only been 300 years in the eye compared to the thousands in normal space so leman and anyone else missing in the eye can come back.
Leman Russ seems to me like the best pick and most likely pick.
The Space Wolves are due a range refresh, and having that tied with his return would also be great for the chapter's lore hesitations around primaris marines.
He is officially alive, and the Space Wolves are one of the most played SM chapters.
Problem is shit is supposed to hit the fan when Russ returns and brings the Wolftime with him.
Half the legions need a range before the special kids get their range refresh
Alpharius/Omegon would be such a weird character to implement though. Because part of their whole thing is it could be anyone, so do you have a unique miniature? Is it something like each turn you can choose to attach them to any other unit? Or something like if they are killed, they reappear attached to any other unit or replace a model in the squad they are attatched to until that squad is destroyed and then moved?"
They'd have to be like a slightly stronger and wouldn't that be too much like a mechanic for Vulkan? His whole thing is he can't die so does he always get back up but maybe after a phase or something?
Trick question. You are obviously Alpharius trying to misdirect the masses.
I could definitely see “Alpharious” having a stratagem that allows him to return in place of a Sargent or character.
You bring them back as an auxiliary primarch for the Tau, that's the kind of curve ball the Alpha Legion like to deliver
I'm going to buy that Omegon miniature. It's called "Alpha Legion Saboteur"
Primarchs who I defiantly should come back
Traitors: Snekgrim, Lorgar and Pertuabo
Loyaliist: Leman Rus, Corvus Corax and Jaghatai
Primarch who might come back but its unlikely
Traitors: Alpharius Omegon (while we do know one of the twins is dead, its is not 100% comfirmed if the other twin is dead, if he is event still in control of his legion any more or where his true alignment is
Loyalists: Ferrus Manus (only if he comes with the Return of the legion of the dammed as an Imperial Greater Daemon), Vulkan (assuming he managed to reform his body after that Wagghhh energy explosion. Even if he did its unlikely he would ever return to the Imperium seeing truely corrupt and oppressive it is going against all of his personal moral leanings and thinks its just not worth saving the Imperium anymore)
Rogal Dorn its not yet confirmed if he is truly dead or not in the current lore because if he had actually died then the traitors especially the Iron Warriors and their primarch Pertuabo would be non stop gloating about it especially to the faces of their most hated rivals the Imperial Fists yet for some reason they are rather silent about it.
Primarchs who should not come back and should definitely stay dead
Traitors:
Horus (his soul has been erased from existence and his former first captain Abaddon is already filling his successor role)
Konrad Kurze he wanted to be killed by that Imperial Assassin
Loyalist:
Sanginius should definitely stay dead and his role for the modern 40k era is already being filled by Dante, Mephiston and the Sanginuor
Imagine if GW retcons Horus getting obliterated and just went, "Horus returned somehow."
The Blood Angels hatred would rival Guts against Griffith.
100000 Vampiric Space Marines screaming "HORUS!"
While fulgrim ideally is released first to finish up the four god factions, I’d really love to see a Corax and raven guard Vs. Lorgar and word bearers. Not likely any time soon I’d wager, but damn that’d be kinda rad.
What do you mean?
Ferrus manus would be a great next pick.
He always comes out ahead.
Hehe
OK but for real though it'd be sick to see him come back as the leader of the Legion of the Damned.
You forgot the Waka Waka Waka
Id love to have a Konrad model! I love the Night Lords lore and the fact the Konrad did what he did because he thought the future set in stone and went with the flow rather than fight the current.
There's only one answer for who should come back next and here's a hint HE LIVES.
Clonegrim!
STOMP?
Fortify?
Daemon Wolf Leman Russ and Demon Raven Corvus.
Fight me.
Bring Corax back 😅 sadly he's not very popular so not likely
I go back and forth on Ferrus. I think I'd be ok with Keys of Hel Dreadnaught Ferrus.
I see "who shouldn't" and I am scared to see Ferrus on that list...
sad
Wpuld love to see Lorgar return next since he's my favorite of the traitors and he is supposed to already be back
Logically though, it should be Fulgrim. He's the only monogod daemon primarch we don't have yet.
Wouldn't make sense if they don't bring back the last monogod primarch before we get the undivided ones
Id love to see Perturabo come back as a Primarch inhabiting some sort of Darmon Machine (possible due to a deal with Vashtorr).
I want to see Ferrus comeback as some type of unholy Robocop 2 like monstrosity
@@Dee7nine I think Ferrus as a Primarch Dreadnought and Perturabo as a Daemon Machine would be a nice mirror.
Never underestimate the power of Sanguinis fanboys. They go through some serious mental gymnastics to justify bringing him back
@@gavinziozios1431hey, not all fans of his want him back. I don't. As much as I love him, it's just a fluff disaster.
GW will bring back which ever model is most likely going to get the sales and bump up profits
It wouldn’t be hard to say “if your army is , you may only do 25% points without that keyword within this book”
Maybe toss the old collectors a bone with a separate detachment that’s daemons only but can soup them up, leave rules in each book for it.
You'd still need a chaos undivided codex but yeah it'd be nice. But it makes sense so GW will probably never do it.
I think it would be awesome 😎👍
I'm planning out a renegade RG chapter as my next project. I approve 👍
Also, if they bring back Lorgar they Have to bring back Corvus too. And vice versa. Their lore rivalry rn is actually fairly compelling
Next traitor should be fulgrim to round out the four chaos gods
Loyalist I’d say dorn or vulkan
Shouldn’t : any primarch that has died either during or after the heresy at the hands of another primarch
I know it's not going to happen but my dream is to have white scars and eldar teaming up to protect the webway from vashtorr
The rumor is Fulgrim is next with a range refresh followed by Leman at the end of 10th.
I feel like, if we got any kind of Horus mini, it'd have to be for HH, or Legio Imperialis.
They should bring Horus back as an april fools gag. "Somehow Horus returned!"
I want Alpharius with rules that allow you to run 2 of them in the same list
Yeah, but I want a rule that on a roll it turns out that I'm actually Alpharius
Even though I might not be a fan per say of the Emperor’s children and Fullgrim, I’d like to see them next purely to have a proper playable faction of each Chaos god, now that we have for the first three.
I have been dying to see my boy leman return to 40K
My money is Fulgrim would be next to complete the Chaos Pantheon with Slaneesh being represented by the Emperor's Children
After that I personally would want to see the Khan come back since the lore is leaning towards Abaddon and Vashtorr heading to the webway, but it is more likely that Leman Russ would be the next loyalist Primarch since the Space Wolves are their own subfaction
I haven’t finished the video yet, but before I get to deep, I wanted to say this now. I don’t actually play the table top game, but I’ve always loved the setting and lore and designs of the game. If my favorite primarch, Jagatai Khan comes back, I might actually pull the trigger and start a White Scar army.
in my head cannon there is a secret dungeon with a lever "break glass in case of emergency" to resurrect Sanguinius
Lemon Russ! With a great story of his discovery of the "World Tree"!
I would love to see Lemon Russ come back as a Wolfen due to his extended time in the worp.
Also we will never get horus back, he was literally annihilated from physical and pyschic realms so he could never come back like hes perma dead. If they brought him back id be very disappointed
I think it would be really funny if they brought back two primarchs in a sort of versus event:
Fulgrim vs Clone-grim.
For Ferrus Manus, I think it would be really cool if he was kinda resurrected and put into a primarch dreadnoght
Because they released the HH resin model, I don't think Fulgrim is getting a 40k release any time soon.
The 40K Lion got released 2,5 years after the HH Lion, if Fulgrim comes out at the end of 10th it would be similar
@@wakito64 Lion was one character model for HH as part of the entire range of primarchs. Fulgrim got an original AND transfigured model and BOTH are for HH.
@@Arturius_Rex_8 The first Fulgrim model was part of the same range as the Lion, Fulgrim Transfigured is the second Primarch of the second range of Primarchs meant to showcase them at their peak like Horus Ascended. Having 2 HH model for a Primarch doesn't mean anything when it has been announced that they are all going to get another HH model at one point
im just reading through soul hunter and there a memory of talos seeing the assasin drag curses head away is clearly mentioned. So hes pretty explicitely depicted as dead i think. ^^
With the new updates to Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons, I feel like Ferrus Manus would be great as a foil to both.
Dorn vs Calgar would be a cool interaction and the fact the BT are “legion strength” could be a cool plot line.
