@@vaggelisrizos134 Maybe some members have health problems, who knows. There have been some contradictory news regarding retirement, I think Dickinson said last year that they don`t have plans for it. In any case it would be great to have retirement tour or a new album instead of statement.
I had the opportunity to meet and interview Nicko in 1997 here in Brazil, at the time for the extinct Modern Drummer Brazil magazine, he was extremely charismatic, friendly and even gave me a lesson. I've been a fan since 1983, so I'm suspicious of saying anything. But, he is an amazing person, extremely inspiring and talented musician. Great Nicko.🎵🎶🥁
The guy filming with the hat on is one of my best friends...he's been Maiden's audio/video director for several years and has nothing but good things to say about Nicko. In fact, my bud is in a Maiden tribute band, and when Maiden played in Nashville (where we both live), Nicko showed up at The Hard Rock Cafe and sat in on drums for a couple of songs with my buddy's band.
It always amazes me how huge Nicko's drum kit is, and how easily he keeps track of it all! Hope there's a drum cam so we can see some of the magic he gets up to back there.

When I heard his cracked voice at the beginning of the video, it melted my heart ... it makes me really sad that eventually we will have to say goodbye to IM in the near future i wish we could use a Time machine and travel back in 1975 and live it all again :( best band ever. When this guys calls it a day its gonna be one of the saddiest days of my life :(
I agree there's not much left in our favorite band sadly that's just life, everything comes to an end. Some people are delusional and saying they have another ten yrs in them I can't see that sadly.
After watching them tonight in Prague, I'd say one more leg of the Future Past Tour and probably a farewell tour. That's it. And my heart is bleeding because Nicko is my all time favorite and it is painful to see him playing slower and slower. Thank you for all those years of inspiration!
@@baranyiatti yes he is struggling big time he's even leaving out a lot of fills but he owes us nothing he's 70 yrs old and has given us a lifetime of great drumming and music and he's a character. Bruce is also after aging rapidly and is struggling aswell in my opinion.

I don't really know anything about drums but I love to listen to Nicko. I could listen to him for hours on end. Plus I love how he calls us ' boys and girls'. 🥰So sweet. Maiden is simply the best. Best band, best musicians, best human beings all around. Love them all to bits. ❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘
Legend and my favourite drummer. Unfortunately his playing has become limited, lot of fills and crashes are missing. It is bittersweet, but I'm honored to be a Maiden fan, and Nicko is still my favourite drummer.
He’s a cool guy. Met him years ago and was initially nervous. He was such a cut up and made me drop my guard and just relax. Really nice guy. He really knows his gear. The engineering and production.

I didn't think I could love a drum kit more than the last bdc maiden kit Nicko had , however seeing this has blown my mind , it's without doubt the most beautiful drum kit I've ever seen .
My biggest idol, God Blass you Nicko. I watch this video 4 days after I saw Iron Maiden in Prague just because I wanted to be surprised when I go there. The boys were absolutely phenomenal. I can hear the passion in his voice and I love it. Nicko is seriously one of the greatest personalities I’ve ever seen. That smile lights up a thousand suns. Also it goes without saying, he’s the good looking one in the band.

i had said i planned on getting my partners father tickets to see our fave band one last time before he passed away. sadly his condition worsened and he passed away this morning. i really wish i could have helpped him see you guys just one last time. he cant say it himself now so i will say it for him. Nicko is such a star. As a drummer I love the way he talks you around his kit, he really does keep everything exciting! I'm looking forward to his heads coming on the market as my kit could do with new heads and having used Code before I'm excited to give them a go!

Always love watching Nicko's kit tours. Nothing really changes fundamentally but there is always something new to report. I started using Code heads on my own kit (Law on toms with the donut dots and Zero on snare) last year and love them! Up there with the likes of Remo and Evans for sure. The Zero snare head has taken a proper bashing and is still standing up 9 months later! Well worth checking out folks.

Really interesting, I'm learning drums as physiotherapy... As a bassist of 35 yrs I'm learning a proper appreciation if what drummers do.... so found this really cool. Nicko played in my local nearly thirty years ago. The kit was a bit smaller! 😂
I've seen some people say that Nicko isn't playing behind this kit after watching videos from the last few shows. But they seem to be forgetting that he's 70 years old now and he has arthritis! Of course he isn't playing as intricately as he did before. He has about 4 months of touring ahead of him. It's a wonder people are so quick to criticize.
What must be like when you can have anything you want and drum and cymbal companies can’t do enough for you. But like he said he is the perfect gentleman and yes I have been lucky enough to meet him and have a brief chat on a couple of occasions such a lovely guy totally down to earth. Beast behind those drums tho. Up the irons!!

Im very concerned about Nickos health..Hes not playing at his usual level, not doing his rolls and fills,they skip the cam shots of him also..
