I met Clay at a Nomma get together and helped build 26 Treadle Hammers over a 3 day time frame. This was in the mid-late 90's in Florida ! Happy to see him still out there ! I wish I had plans for the hammer other than the pic's in my head. I have almost all of the steel ready to go !
they invented this homemade hammer, here in Brazil there was an accident where the tire is spinning, the pressure screw burst, not effective and has to be very elaborate
