That stopped me too. I never soak chía overnight, tho, just put it in a glass of water or fruit juice for 5 to 10 min till it hydrated and forms a gel, that gel is very Nice to drink it alone, but also mixed with the rest of the smoothie is perfect. Avoids the damage.

From my understanding not if you’re trying to loose weight. It’s a good source of healthy protein and fat but it’s high in calories. Not saying it’s anything bad about them but if you’re aiming for a calorie deficit for weight loss you have to watch it they can add on a lot of calorie’s easily.

I like to buy my fruit frozen so this way it’s like a big milkshake and I don’t have to add any ice. Sam’s Club and Walmart have some really decent blends, however I really like dragon fruit for the mini anti-inflammatory properties and lowering your blood pressure leveling your glycemic index out dragon fruit is one of the best super foods
