3 years ago I lost 30 lbs through starvation and self hate and then quit. This year I’ve lost 30 lbs through healthy lifestyle changes and self love and am still going strong. This channel has really helped me learn how to take care of my body and inspires me daily. Thanks for all that you do. 🥰
@@dianathedragon8766 That sucks, I know the feeling. Lost 30 lbs, but I still have 100 to go. Doesn’t matter though, we can both do this. Let’s get it! 😤🔥
I'm a month into my 100lb Weight Loss journey and i'm down 13lbs! Feeling super good, super motivated, not restricting in a negative way, eating to feel good while also couting calories and macros... I never would have imagined i'd lose 13lbs in one month but it was a very nice kick start. Loved this video! Super motivating.
I'm 18 months in to my 100lb weight loss. I've gotten 92 lbs down so far ! Home from 224 to 132! Not much to go. :) I'm 5'2.5" so, 126 ish is nice and healthy for me
@@kaycollarfeild damn you're pretty good. I'm 6'1'' and was around 330 pounds around 5 years ago. Now I'm 270 pounds. I have started this diet after this video. Intend to lose 100 pounds to come down to 170 lbs which is ideal for my height, given I also have muscles - I'm male. I give my self about a year but won't have time to go to gym, we shall see.
Hey buddy part of that weight is watter so pls don’t be discouraged if it slows down On my first month loosing weight I lost around 20 pounds But around 6 of those where water stay strong man You got this
The perfect mix of jokes, transparency, vulnerability, and personal growth (gains) made it so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for releasing this kind of content!
I went from 340lbs to 210lbs in 6 months by going cold turkey and cutting out all the junk food, intermittent fasting and took at least 25,000 steps a day 5 days a week. I've kept it off for over a year now. Cutting out all the junk also forced me to learn how to cook so there's that.

It's actually crazy about how on point you were with the morning weigh in part. I always take what I see on the scale as a make or break thing, and it dictates my mood and habits for the rest of the day. I enjoyed this vid, and the tips. Thanks Will!
@Pluto Xtremus I know I'm 5 months late, but for me, I had to change my exercises and foods. Everytime I hit a plateau I changed my game plan. Lately I've been trying intermittent fasting 16/8 for about a month and I lost about 5lbs.
@@vijzon3223I hit a plateau as well, I was losing weight pretty fast until 190 lbs but after that the plateau happened and I can’t get out of it no matter what. Idk what to do, please help
I used to do the same as him. Letting the calories I ate the previous day determine my mood for the next. If I ate one meal that was a win and looking back I’m disappointed at what I’d do to lose weight. thank you for being honest about it and bringing light to much a important topic.
Loved that youre showing that men can also struggle with disordered eating and you're being a great role model. wish we had bloggers like you when I was a teenager. Keep it up 💪
As a man, nobody thought otherwise.. but men are more likely to sort their own problems out. Or were should I say. Nothing wrong with help, but at the end of the day you gotta grow up and take responsibility for your own life. Nobody will do it for you.
Thank you for working on yourself so you can show us this part of your past without it being triggering. It’s extremely insightful, and honest with a lot of realistic self reflection. 🥰
I’m battling a combo of anorexia/bulimia and it’s been rough. Your channel has been inspiring me to strive for strength and to focus on both mental and physical wellness. Thank you for that Will, and for sharing your experience as well. Best wishes to you and the community 💕
Hang in there! It took me a lot of time and courage to recover from my bulimia but there IS a way out and life will be better without the constant stress and health complications. I believe in you 💕
Not only was this entertaining, but it was educational and genuine. Thank you for sharing your truth in the ending. It really hit home. You should be proud of yourself for being so wholesome and endorsing a healthy lifestyle. I appreciate you and your videos very much!
I weigh myself every morning as well and I didn't think about it, but it really does affect my mood significantly lol. Good idea on doing weekly averages!
@@cookiesontoast9981 I can't for the life of me tell the difference despite weighing nearly 60 pounds less than my worst. Friends and family say I look way better, but I look in the mirror and still see myself as the fack fuck that I've been all my life. I've never been anything but overweight, even been born big, so that might be why my brain can't recognize the changes.
@@SabakuSasori I do kind of see where you're coming from, but personally for me it's less that I can't see the changes and more that I just assume "oh I'm just seeing things, don't get your hopes up"
When will said I used to hate myself… Jesus the emotion jumped out of me. So glad u did this video it made me see u in a whole new light. Appreciate ur honesty.
This was so good. Really shed light on how little we understood about "healthy weightloss". Diet culture robbed so many of us 80s babies of a healthy relationship with ourselves and food. thanks Will!
This brings back memories from my freshman year of high school. I dropped 30lbs so fast because I was anorexic. Went from 120lbs to 90lbs at 5’4. Averaged 800-1000 calories a day and played basketball with my friends for hours, and pretended I was full of energy and happy but I was always miserable and hungry. So glad I’m outta that phase of my life.
I was the exact opposite, I went from 175 to 220 in my freshman year because that was my first-year lifting and I was just stuffing my face to bulk up because i was a football player, honestly my weight was all over the place in high school because of football, sometimes idk whether I should gain or lose weigh lol.
This takes me back I've had a bad relationship with food and self love all my life, in high school I dropped about 70 lbs in like 7 months after kids I ballooned up then dropped 80 lbs in like 10 months and constantly struggled to keep it down. Even when I'm not trying to count my calories my brain will automatically calculate an average calories consumption for that meal, I'm back trying to drop 120lbs. As a female with PCOS, ADHD, and medical issues , no longer able to workout like I used to, my weight skyrocketed and now I feel stuck 100lbs more to go, trying to do it right. Love this video and your content.
I'm about to hit 100 lbs overweight after 2 years of eating like crap and not exercising. I used to weigh 156 and now I'm hitting 250. This video is a godsend, my man!
I went from 227 in September of 2020 to 164 by June 2021. Best advice: meal prep (or at least know what you’re going to eat that day so you’re not winging it when you’re starving), weigh yourself every morning, take a progress picture once a month, have a cheat meal once a week (every Saturday for me), and most importantly: enjoy what you eat.
Agree with everything you said except for the daily weigh in. I did that at one point and it made me so obsessed by the number i saw on the scale that it really messed up with me mentally. For about 2 years i've been doing it only once a week, on monday mornings and it really worked the best for me, both physically and mentally.
@@IRurushu I won’t lie it has messed with me mentally. Like bad lol. But it’s worth it honestly. I went from a disgusting dad bod to being completely shredded. Whatever works for you tho, everyone’s different
@@IRurushu for me daily is best so i can just get used to weight fluctuations and ranges. when i weighed monthly i always felt discouraged because i'd try so hard just to see the scale never move. i think everyone should do what is best for them. but also measurements and having one or two clothes to try on for progress are other great ways to keep track!
THAT TRANSITION THOOO 9:30 also thank you for being honest and sharing this part of you. I can relate on so many levels. It’s insane what we do to ourselves sometimes!
Hell yes! Well done, Cheeto! Remember that it's a journey and a life style, and that you can have pancakes, tacos, pizza, sushi etc and still lose weight. Just get creative with the recipes, eat in moderation, don't overcomplicate it, enjoy the ride, and remember how far you've come!
Nothing inspiring about this _ video that’s beyond ofsv to fruit and to me the only girl / girls and the only lovable / loved / lovely being and the only Queen / Princess / Lady / Miss / God(dess) / Star etc and the only sweet / edible / adorable being and the only Katie / Cat / Kat(e) / other special names!
His section about weight lifting, and seeing the progress really lands for me. I started tracking all my lifts last year, and it’s allowed me to see my progress in ways that I would never have typically known. Thank you for emphasizing the journey.
Thank you for showing how to properly lose weight HEALTHILY! I fell down the rabbit hole of starving and over doing cardio and it lead to a very dark place, so it's good to see someone who shows how to lose weight in a good way :)
Ages 19-22 I had a severe eating disorder. I went from 10 stone to 7 stone in 3 months (bare in mind in 5ft 8) and I worked out 4 hours a day at the gym, was on my feet for 10 hours a day at work then I would walk 4 miles home every. Single. Day. Not to mention I was terrified of food. I felt so much hatred and so disgusting every time I ate. Man I hated my life so much then I’m so so glad I’m out of that phase of my life. I’m 30 now with 2 kids and I could never imagine them treating their body that way
I felt like I was reading about myself rn, we have so many things in common from the ED at 19-22 being 30 now with kids and I'm 5'8 also! And I was horrified of food I would always feel so guilty and I can't imagine my kids having to go through that
I have an ed and this is extremely close to it, the cardio, coffee, coke etc. the only difference is that you stopped when you reached a still healthy weight
@@isg2371 this. A lot of “diets” end up being eds and people don’t realize it. There’s a quote from a poem that’s something along the lines of “when a skinny person gets an ed, they’re sick. When a fat person gets one, they’re a success story.”
I know someone who wanted to weigh 35 kilograms (bmi of 13.5). She showed me when she weighed 42 kilograms and she looked ugly on those pictures. She looked much better at an normal weight when I met her which was 55 kg or something.
Almost 5 years ago I wanted to lose 35 pounds and I developed a very unhealthy relationship with food and exercising. A lot of the things you showed how you lost weight is exactly what I did until I developed an eating disorder. Thank you so much for sharing this!! It’s so possible to grow a love for working out in a healthy way! And eating foods to fuel your body! You’re awesome Will!!
Love the story telling and the transparency of your weight-loss journey. It's nice to hear someone else who had similar thought processes like I did. I'm coming back into a better state of fitness and well-being now, and your channel has been a great supplementation. Also, you're hilarious. Love the balance you have on pertinent info and comedy.
Really appreciate the honesty and openness in this one. I've struggled with body image lately and that "perceived" lack of progress. It's nice to hear about the shared struggle.
Dude you're super dirty and funny, and also pretty humble for your clearly affluent upbringing, and the fact that you can ask for help and explain your feelings calmly, WHOOOO good for you, good for Katie, good for your family. Happy for you
I’ve lost 62 lbs in 15 months largely in part to your videos and your inspiration. I’m thankful that you teach others the healthy way to take care of themselves. So close to my goal weight! Thanks for all you do Will.
Will, please do a how to start weight loss journey for people with little knowledge video. It would be very helpful to see a "compacted guide for beginners" video by Will. Thanks for all the inspo with humor on the side! Happy New Year!
Hey Will, I really enjoy it when you give some insights into your past disordered eating, it's especially relatable as I'm also somebody who is trying to improve my body composition and strength. Sometimes it feels like men don't really have a voice for these kinds of issues, and I think this is a starting point for that to change. I've recently been struggling with this on my cut, and I clearly still have a lot of mental gains to make.
I'm sorry to hear about what you went through. It sounds a lot like what I did back in high school as well. I'm so glad you've grown and learned! Your body thanks you. I like that you mention what you should've been doing instead as well because It kinda helps me put things into perspective as well.
I was 300 lbs this time last year and am now at a usual steady 175. Hasn’t been easy, I did it through fasting and working like a damn mule as a culinary manager 60+ hours a week. The stress from my job alone probably led to me sheddin a lot of unwanted pounds. So all in all people, I would say the key to losing a lot of weight fast is not eating and working like a damn dog. Lol just kidding, it’s definitely not for everyone. I would say intermittent fasting is exceptional for losing weight easily and quickly.
@@GodIsNotABigot thanks a lot. Just keep at it, that’s the key to it. Staying consistent and fighting those urges. It’s a struggle at first but does get easier.
@@fifafittzy9983 my routine has involved me being very active, I work as a kitchen manager and 5 days out of the week I’m working on my feet from 10am til 9pm or later on those five days. At first I would fast all day until around seven then I’d eat a decent sized meal of rice and blackened salmon most days with broccoli. That’s been my main diet
I found your channel in February and since then I’ve been hitting the gym 6x a week for 5 months now and seen some big results. You’ve been a big inspiration
Thank you for this video. I used to be just like you! I was anorexic, bulimic, and exercise obsessed. I lost 80 pounds. Now after years of therapy I’ve realized that I can be healthy. I don’t have to focus on my looks just because I want to be fit. I’m currently just now realizing I’m a total binge eater, so I’m helping myself to get away from that. I’ve gained 110 pounds from my low weight. But I’m eating healthy, not overdoing my body during workouts (I learned to do that at the gym), and I’m going to be fit and healthy for the first time. I’m really working towards doing this all for me and not focusing on my weight. I hate what you went through, but I love knowing I’m not the only one. ❤
You’re so awesome! I’ve lost 35 lbs since January and just found you last month. I always listen to your content while getting my steps in or while I’m in the gym
Thank you Will for always being transparent and showing us how to have a healthier relationship with food. Losing weight is so mentally hard and I've definitely dieted extreme in the past too. I looked like a melted down version of the same shape I started out as after losing almost 30lbs at the time. Not the results I wanted at all, but your videos have taught me a ton about how to approach weightloss the right way.
I've been through like exactly the same thing as you did all those years ago. The difference is that I've been already watching your videos at that time and it made me realise I'm making the same mistakes as you did. Glad to see this type of content coming up every now and then on your channel, it's very important to help other people avoid getting into this dangerous circle of fast weight loss and eating disorders.
You’re my favorite fitness nut on UA-cam! I’m amazingly down about 50lb from my all time high of 277. I’m shooting for a goal of 180 (ideally mainly muscle) by mid Feb. Tennis is my main chick and the food scale is my side chick. They don’t know about each other, but they both are helping me along. Let’s get to that goal!
I managed to make it down to 219, but, like my finances, the short term success weakened my focus and now Im back to about 224. Hoping to do another 5-10 lbs this next month.
Hey man - we actually went to the same HS and I remember you from back then. Thank you so damn much for all the content you pump out. I've gone through 2 ankle/foot surgeries over the past 2 years and your videos helped me with my mental/physical health. I was encouraged to start cooking more because of the recipes you put out too. Keep pluggin' away man!
tell us some stories about will if you got any, Maybe about that boston trip if you were there, also hope everything is good now and gets better in future.
I loved your journey! The way you filmed made it look very personal and I thought about myself, back in the days too. Thanks for being who you are, your channel was one of the best discoveries I’ve made in the last year on UA-cam ❤
Absolutely love your content! I have been a personal trainer and coach for many years, but also had many years of disordered eating (anorexia/binging etc) weight training has brought much of the same balance to my life! It is so refreshing that you focus on Heath and how different we all are, rather than “do what I do to look like me”’
Gosh, do you know how to inspire! Going through a rough patch with binge eating issues but watching you since a few months has inspired me to do better. Grateful
The fact that you used to hate yourself breaks my heart because you are someone so worthy of love. I get it tho - we are truly all our own worst critics. So happy that you are happy now ♥️ and thank you for inspiring me to be happy and healthy as well! 💜💪
5'5 Female- When I was 18 I wanted to join boot camp. I weighed 210 and needed to weigh 160 or less to ship. I was able to do it in THREE MONTHS... but same as you. Not a "oh wow!!" but an, "oh.. wow" My routine started as - Breakfast- egg and half a banana. Snack- tiny apple Lunch- salad w/ maybe 2-3 ounces of chicken Dinner- tilapia and broccoli or green beans I started out walking, then walk jogging the block, until I was jogging a mile out and a mile back. Eventually I got a gym membership and went to the gym twice a day. Never touched free weights, I was too afraid.. I used the row machine and treadmill. I lost 50lbs and shipped to boot camp. That shit was NOT maintainable
I usually love all your videos, but I really think this one ranks near the top for me. It was open, honest, educational, real. I think it hit on all the things that so many of us do while trying to lose weight - thinking we're going to be successful with this plan but actually doing more harm and wasting time in the long run.
This one really hit for me Will, I was reminded of my phase of doing this where I would take an already small potion of food, and then always half it, I didn't let myself eat sweets or drink, or do anything fun, wouldn't go to any food-cenric events. I wouldn't even eat carrots because they had too much sugar. I then passed out after one drink at a party because I hadn't eaten, and went on a spiral and very quickly gained all the weight back. I always think of that sad girl and all the life she missed out on. Thanks to you and Pamela Reif I have been at a stable weight for 2 years now, which is a huge milestone for me. I really appreciate your videos. (Also, I'm in Vancouver BC, please do a doughnut road trip here, there's lots of good ones!).
i've watched you channel for a while now through different stages of my ed and even though i already know your story i keep learning new life lessons and i always appreciate how transparent you are. you rock dude
I have autoimmune Thyroiditis and have been trying insanely hard to lose weight and it has been rough. Counting calories and macros, getting good sleep, weightlifting on top of an hour of cardio every day ( ran/ walked 5 miles in 70 min the other day woohoo) and with all of this I find losing weight insanely hard. Yes my volume when training has gone up a lot, and I can withstand way more work and weight, so I am def getting stronger, but I am also addicted to weighing myself everyday, and when I don't see that numberr go down, or instead go up in the mornings, it destorys me... Thanks for making this video, going to try and learn as much as I can from it, and keep trying. I am determined to change my body and my life, and even though its been annoying, and unfair, I am going to keep pushing, because you showed me I can do it. Thanks Will
Hi. I'm a 54 old lady. I cured my psoriatic arthritis and lost 80lbs changing nothing but adding hydrogen peroxide 35 percent food grade. 1 drop 3x a day. Going up one drop until day 25 at 25 drops. But irs harsh so I stopped at 18 drops. No caffeine or alcohol. 1 hour before you eat or 3 hours after. Get a dropper. The book is one minute cure. No metal cups. Go to local health food store. No gnc. Keep big bottle in freezer. 45 bucks a bottle for the year.
The part where you said you hated yourself really hit me. I currently hate myself, I look in the mirror with disgust and shame, I was going to the gym very regularly before covid hit then once it happened I gained all the weight I lost and now just feel defeated, trying to get myself back in but it's hard, I'm a very emotional eater and have a hard time making the right food choices
It’s been over a year since this video was released, but UA-cam recommends must’ve been looking out for me. I’ve been struggling with my health/weight loss balance since high school, and now I’m finally at a comfortable and progressive place. Not afraid of full fat, high protein, or carbohydrates. Recently though I feel like I’m resorting back to bad habits because I’ve become impatient and unsatisfied with the speed of my journey. I want it to be like magic. So this video was an amazing wake-up-call. I can really see my past self here, and it’s frightful. I really appreciate you, Will. I don’t want to go back to starving myself and stepping on the scale like every time I do an angel gets it’s wings or something. I’m going to try to look at it in a larger scale like you said: monthly, yearly even!
My ex-wife and I separated back at the beginning of 2012. One of the reasons for us deciding to call it quits was our different take on health and fitness. Prior to that, I smoked and ate poorly and I wasted my 20s. But even prior to that, I was actually a very physically active person, working out, running, and playing sports on a daily basis. So in 2012, after we separated, I got back into working out and eating right seriously. In fact, I did so too seriously. I worked out 6 days a week, and ate as little as possible. I ended going from 287 to 203 in about two months. But I lost a considerable amount of muscle in the process. I was doing some push-ups one day. I had gotten myself back up to 5 sets of 20. This particular day I'm doing them, and I'm on like set 2, and I struggled to get to 9. It took me a minute, but then I realized that I'd worked out so hard and eaten so little, that my muscle was being consumed by my body to fuel itself. Oops. There is definitely a right way and a wrong way to lose weight. I got back on track, regained the muscle and got to my normal healthy weight of between 230 and 250. Ten years later I'm still doing great.
Really needed this today. So glad I found your channel. A weight loss 'journey' is such a weird thing for me now in my late 30s, as my teens were made up of as little food as I could eat / get away with no one noticing. Doing a 48 hour fast that I kind of 'fell' into, and it brings back a lot of those reminders / feelings. I've been on a medically-recommended 800 calorie a day Huel diet 5 days a week for 11 weeks. I'm below 180lb for the first time in a decade, but I can so easily fall into the mindset of "not enough, not enough". Grateful for you showing that you could've lost the weight in a more healthy way. Thank you for sharing your story.
Been watching you forever Will, and I'll say I'm proud of how far you've come, and how much more potential we have yet to see you unlock. Keep going my bro!
Will, these are some of the absolute best content on UA-cam. Hilarious and fantastic work. Motivation is easy with your humor while sharing your story. 💪🏾🙏🏾
It's crazy how your perception of your overweight self is where I'd be happy to be right now. Hit me right in the feels when you said you hated yourself, I can hard relate. Thanks for being so open, I think more people in your position should be as open as you are!
This was so refreshing to watch. I think as teenagers, we get so consumed by our own insecurities that these very extreme behaviours get justified. I'm not sure where balance gets thrown out the window but I can completely relate to this video. While you were dreaming of getting chased by a croissant, I feared cheesecake.
One thing to add: There are person you should doing it for..... your kids. I became a father 1.5 Years ago and it change my life. I am 33 Years old and was 130Kg but with my little daughter i knew i had to change or she would not have a great time playing with me. So i started losing weight and lost now 42 KG and i am stronger and just healty then ever. I know that this is a special case but there are people that deserver that you change yourself for them
Completely hooked on your videos and binged a dozen in a row after them being recommended several weeks ago. Even with not being interested in fitness, your personality is amazing and entertaining. The low key, witty, tounge in cheek jokes you throw out remind me of Bo Burnham. Thank you for being a humble inspiration for others who need it.
When I was 16 a similar thing happened to me. I would start my day with a peppermint or green tea with a bowl of cereal, then only eat unbuttered bread for lunch with maybe an apple or a banana, and then I would eat something small for tea like a bowl of cereal again and I never felt hungry. I lost 3 stone in 3 months but I became obsessed with the weight on the scales. I exercised so much that I bruised my coccyx bone and couldn’t lie down on my back for a long time. A year after, I never felt full and I would drink chamomile tea to try and get myself to sleep as the hunger pains were so severe. I gained the 3 stone back from a binge eating disorder, which my family helped me recover from. I’m very lucky and thankful that my family were supportive the whole time I went through this. 6 years later I’m starting to exercise again and I’m loving taking it at my own pace, not to lose weight, but to feel stronger in myself. I also eat what I want when I want. And I’ve never been happier.
I really hope you realise how great your advice and outlook on fitness health is. Videos are always entertaining and keep you engaged which is very important especially for people struggling to get there health better. Keep it up man!
I did 60 pounds ( 30kg ) in 3 monthts by just walking alot and drinking dinner replacement shakes. It was horrible and just 2-3 years later the weight was back. Lifestyle change with regular excercise and portion controll is the way to go.
@@youssef-hv4ld i dont think you understand. most men can cut 1000kcal per day and still have around 1600 kcal to consume. Women (especially shorter than 5'5'') tend to have a TDEE of 1800 so slashing 1000 kcal would leave them with 800kcal to eat. That's why they have to take weight loss much slower and cannot achieve extreme weight loss within months. The same results would take double the time, when done sustainably.
Really awesome to see that he was honest about how hungry he really was and the mistakes me made along the way. A lot of influencers would take their progress as a chance to show off!
I did almost exactly the same things you did on my own weight loss journey two years ago. I cut out most of my food, especially the carbs, and ate almost nothing. Coffee always kept me away from eating. I went from 85kg to only 55kg in a bit more than a year completely without doing any sports or exercise. I was massively underweight but still not happy with my body. I put on a few kilos the year after but didn't change any of my exercise habits. That all changed about four months ago. I went on my first ever run and got a gym membership. I now train nearly every day, am able to run a half marathon in decent time and changed the way I look at food. All of that helped me gain about 15 Kilos in the last 12 months, mostly muscles. All of that being said, our journeys are incredibly similar and you are a great idol of mine. Thank you so much for the great content you make. I already learned much from you and look forward to using your advices in the coming year!
I’m coming out of pretty bad sickness and I’ve noticed my body image have started deteriorating as a result. I still can’t do intense exercise or see anyone without risking getting sick again (doctor’s orders…) and it’s frustrating not being happy with my body but not being able to safely get back into routine. I especially appreciate Will’s openness around healthy weight loss and body image right now, helped me refocus on what I can do in the here and now to better my position.
Back in the day, we used to put on plastic coated “sweat suits” and get rolled up inside the wrestling mat to make weight. Reflecting back on how dangerous that was, I hope that’s not a thing anymore. Also, starving yourself before weight in then gorging before the match was really counterproductive.
Hello, I came across your video on my feed. This video brought back some memories because it reminded me of how my diet has evolved as a teenager to an adult that is 5 years post partum. I would do crash diets to loose weight fast as a younger person whereas now I eat whole foods. I greatly appreciate that you discussed the proces of how your diet evolved from restrictions to a healthy balance. In addition, I really liked how you put a humorous spin on it. Keep the videos coming.
I have lost 20lbs on scale. But much more in body fat over these past 6 months. And i feel great everyday. Seeing how you (we) were back then being overweight. Its just amazing. I remember having to go to the doctor every month just to check up on me for being overweight. Now I eat what I want (bulking) and loving the gym.

So true. 30 seconds can feel like an eternity.
3 years ago I lost 30 lbs through starvation and self hate and then quit. This year I’ve lost 30 lbs through healthy lifestyle changes and self love and am still going strong. This channel has really helped me learn how to take care of my body and inspires me daily. Thanks for all that you do. 🥰
let’s go!! great job man!! keep it up and never quit
Congrats!
I did the same thing a few years ago then during quarantine I gained nearly 50 pounds. I’m in the process of trying to lose it the healthy way now.

You're crushing it! Took me 1 year to lose 98 pounds.
Me too. About 12 pounds down. Keep it up!

I lost 60+ lbs and formed much healthier habits. Your videos kept me motivated and dug me out of a plateau. Appreciate you 🙏🏻
What helped you get out of a plateau?
@Pluto Xtremus I know I'm 5 months late, but for me, I had to change my exercises and foods. Everytime I hit a plateau I changed my game plan. Lately I've been trying intermittent fasting 16/8 for about a month and I lost about 5lbs.

This guy doesn't miss. As always, thanks for all the laughs, your vulnerability, and for sharing what you've learned.

I never weigh myself. Why should I care about how much I actually weigh when I can already see if I'm losing weight just by looking in the mirror?
@@cookiesontoast9981 I can't for the life of me tell the difference despite weighing nearly 60 pounds less than my worst. Friends and family say I look way better, but I look in the mirror and still see myself as the fack fuck that I've been all my life.

Thank you! I’m down 27 but it took me a year.
Agree with everything you said except for the daily weigh in. I did that at one point and it made me so obsessed by the number i saw on the scale that it really messed up with me mentally. Ages 19-22 I had a severe eating disorder. Crash dieting is not mental illness. It's just a bad decision. People with eating disorders can't/don't just stop once they reach a healthy weight

With this fasting how often and how much do you eat? Also how active were you in terms of walking etc how many steps were you getting in
@@fifafittzy9983 my routine has involved me being very active, I work as a kitchen manager and 5 days out of the week I’m working on my feet from 10am til 9pm or later on those five days.

5'5 Female- When I was 18 I wanted to join boot camp. I weighed 210 and needed to weigh 160 or less to ship. I was able to do it in THREE MONTHS... but same as you. Not a "oh wow!!" but an, "oh.. wow"
My routine started as -
Breakfast- egg and half a banana.
Snack- tiny apple
Lunch- salad w/ maybe 2-3 ounces of chicken
Dinner- tilapia and broccoli or green beans
I started out walking, then walk jogging the block, until I was jogging a mile out and a mile back.

Thanks Will

Look up Dr. Berg and Dr. Ken Barry. It’s a start that will help.
I'm 13 and I've begun to lose weight and you are really helping me. Thank you Will. I'm gonna be healthy like you.
Ten years later I'm still doing great.
losing 84 lbs in 2 months is impossible unless you were smelted in a furnace
You are so funny. I really needed this humorous take on a weight loss journey - with great results at the end of the day! :) Awesome.
Will, these are some of the absolute best content on UA-cam. Hilarious and fantastic work. Motivation is easy with your humor while sharing your story. 💪🏾🙏🏾
This reminds me of my eating disorder days. My heart goes out to you. I'm glad we're both in a better place now dude!
Let me say, you have 100 percent helped me better myself with my ed. I’m so thankful, plz keep doing you and making this amazing content man!🙏🏻🖤
It's crazy how your perception of your overweight self is where I'd be happy to be right now.
Love your content Will, and your openness about your journey and everything you’ve gone through.
One thing to add:
There are person you should doing it for..... your kids.
I became a father 1.5 Years ago and it change my life. I am 33 Years old and was 130Kg but with my little daughter i knew i had to change or she would not have a great time playing with me.

This was inspiring to read. I’ve got a 1 year old boy and want to lose weight so I’m an active part of his life
I like that you showed what you do different these days and why you do it :) thanks for encouraging a healthy way of weight loss and healthy lifestyle
Great sense of humor you have, hey, will you ask your mom to do a step by step in your videos how she preps and grills her veggies they look great!
I did 60 pounds ( 30kg ) in 3 monthts by just walking alot and drinking dinner replacement shakes. It was horrible and just 2-3 years later the weight was back. Lifestyle change with regular excercise and portion controll is the way to go.
Oh to be a man! I swear men have astronomically high TDEEs and they can eat half decent and lose pounds.

@@Lwoods1717 Did you even read his comment?? 💀
One of our biggest inspiration Thanks Will for your great story 🔝💯
I especially appreciate Will’s openness around healthy weight loss and body image right now, helped me refocus on what I can do in the here and now to better my position.
as a wrestler the weight on the scale basically needs to dictate my life cause my coach might end it if I don't make weight
Back in the day, we used to put on plastic coated “sweat suits” and get rolled up inside the wrestling mat to make weight. Reflecting back on how dangerous that was, I hope that’s not a thing anymore. Also, starving yourself before weight in then gorging before the match was really counterproductive.
@@ducati135 that’s not just back in the day my friend
Hello,
I came across your video on my feed.
The vshred dig got my upvote! Thanks for the comedy!
To every single person oout there trying to improve themselves, keep going. One day you'll reach your goals!
My god, I just discovered this guy. Dude, if you are reading this, just know you are 100% amazing! Love you and how real you are! Protect yourself from any bad influences and keep on growing. Greetings and best wishes from half a world away. 🍀
I feel like you were struggling a lot and you were fighting with your body and all that all alone .. it shows how kids and young people or even adults, how we are fragile and strong at the same time.. I am sorry you went throught that. Also i hope you feel better now in your body, but from my experience it is kind of lifetime thing.. Thank you for sharing:)
It’s so true when you said we often don’t realize the progress we’re making during our fitness journey. Currently I’m there Will
