    A few suggestions.
    1. A better technique if you're using less oil is to lower the heat and not stir too much to get those potatoes crispy and brown as opposed to dark brown-blackish as in the video.
    2. Always add soya sauce on the sides of the pan or in direct contact with the pan. It's well known to always let the sauce sizzle/sear a bit before you incorporate in into the food.
    Great video!

Definitely my favorite breakfast to make. Instead I use bell peppers and garlic as well as onions of course. And i use coconut oil because it doesnt burn but it also gives it a very nice faint coconut taste. For seasonings, i add some rosemary and parsley. Then at the end with the eggs i top it off with some shredded cheese. Put some Tapatio on it and boom, its perfect.

One minor hack that will make this recipe much healthier: after boiling/microwaving the potatoes, cool and freeze them. This will convert some of the starch into the resistant form, which makes this dish more ‘insulin-friendly’. The trick also works with pasta and rice.

If you have a little more time i like to parboil my potatoes, that is to boil them about halfway cooked. Then drain thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel for maximum crispiness when frying, kinda manhandle them just a bit when stirring too to add some cracks and craggly surfaces for more crispy edges. I would maybe try lower heat than this though, the potatoes are looking a little dark for my taste at least

Tried this recipe. It's hard to find chicken ham in Zimbabwe so I replaced it with 100g of dried kapenta, which has 300 calories and 70g of protein per 100g. Also added some garlic and birds eye chilli. Now I have a quick, healthy meal with almost 100g of protein.

Absolutely agree with your suggestions! Achieving that perfect crispiness with less oil is an art, and lowering the heat while minimizing stirring is indeed a fantastic technique. It's all about that golden-brown perfection without going too dark.
And your tip about adding soy sauce on the sides of the pan for that sizzle and sear effect is spot on. Enhancing the flavors by letting the sauce work its magic before incorporating it into the dish is a culinary wisdom that adds that extra depth.
Speaking of culinary wisdom, in my keto journey, I've discovered a couple of positive aspects worth sharing. Firstly, the controlled insulin levels have not only aided in weight management but also brought a sense of balance to my overall health. Secondly, the increased intake of healthy fats has contributed to sustained energy throughout the day.
As we navigate through the keto kitchen, here's a wise motto: "In the realm of culinary adventures, precision and technique are the keys to unlocking not just flavors but also a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle - let every dish be a masterpiece, and every day a step towards wellness!" 🌟👨‍🍳💚

Somehow this is nearly the exact recipe my mom taught me for hashbrowns. Except I like my onions really dark so I start them off first with a green pepper or carrot or whatever else I have around. Then in with the ham or bacon cubes and boiled potatos. Anyway, subscribed and will start using the microwave trick

I theory crafted basically this but no meat a few days ago, add thousand island sauce as a topping at the end it sounds weird but works amazingly

If you don‘t want to prepare the Potatos you can also use Gnoccki from Edeka for example. Just throw them in the pan and roast them.

If you are using such sandwich/ smoked meats, make sure you check the packaging to find Nitrite/ Nitrate-free meats. Such preservatives have shown links to cancer hence now companies are also hiding this info as "a generic preservative name - a number". If you look this up, it mostly will have nitrates/ nitrites. Stay safe, eat healthy. Great recipe too!

    Hey man.
I'm homeless right now and living at a camp in the woods. I have some basic food and spices and a cast iron frying pan. I was looking for something to use my last couple potatoes, eggs and fresh rabbit meat on before they spoil and this is the recipe I'm going with.
It looks so simple and delicious. I honestly cant wait to try it. It's a cold morning and this looks like it'll get me warmed up and give me enough energy to get through the rest of the day.
As soon as the sun is up and I get a fire going this is what I'm going to make. Thank you very much for this simple recipe, it'll be a huge morale boost.
    God bless.
