    Nice - been wondering about a propane conversion for my MSR pocket rocket, Think you just solved it! Gas stove about the only way you can camp in Calif right now. You can drop trou and take a dump on the street, but make a gel or wood fire and they'll ticket you in a hot second. Thanks for showing this!

      That's called lawlessness and it's called not keeping his oath to the Constitution. Now you have the right because of the Constitution ("We the People") to throw the bums out:
      The fourth federal law, 18 U.S.C. 1918 provides penalties for violation of oath office described in 5 U.S.C. 7311 which include: (1) removal from office and; (2) confinement or a fine.
      Also:
      Article II, Section 4: The President, Vice President & all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes & Misdemeanors

    Some of the small stoves say in the "Directions" not to use Propane. But I can't imagine why! I have friends that use these adapteds all the time.
    BUT, the also put a special set of "Feet" on the taller Coleman bottle to make it more stable to cook on!

    Hi. Thanks for the video. Quick question though. You show one way for the adapter but how about if you want to go the other way. From the lighter cans to the traditional camping stoves. Whats the adapter for those?

    The gouging for the 1-lb propane tank is ridiculous. My local gas station refills BBQ propane tank by the lb and the price has been $2.85 to $3.15/lb over the last 15 years. If you're car-camping in mild climate, a butane stove is more cost-effective. A 4-pack (8oz each) for $7. For backpacking the Iso-Butane canister is the way to go.

      @Tastes_like_chicken_shit 6 місяців тому

      It really isn't gouging considering you are paying for a new, heavy steel tank when you buy your prefilled pound of propane. True it is disposable, but that's not the supplier's fault. You can buy empty refillable 1 pound tanks now.

    I need an adapter that u can use my nozzle to go from the blue propane tank, to the Coleman blend. Everywhere has the opposite, small to big. But no one has a big to small adapter so I can screw my nozzle into smaller can

    Does the adapter work the other way around?
    Can I use them to connect a small tank of propane/butane mix to a Coleman Classic stove that normally runs on propane?

    There is also an adapter that lets you fill the little bottles with bigger bottles when they get low.

      @@TTFTEC I believe it's the same "butane adapter" for large and small canisters.

    • @Tastes_like_chicken_shit
      @Tastes_like_chicken_shit 6 місяців тому

      Yes, but it is not safe to fill the lightweight canisters with propane.

    That's cool to know, honestly I didn't know the difference I thought I was always getting propane now that I see your video my small ones are also propane/ butane mix. I think butane, the way I understand it is a little more combustive and dangerous, but I'd rather save money too, so I'll be looking at Walmart next time I'm in there while they're on sale. I like camping in the winter better.. thanks for that informative video brother also I didn't realize I needed an adapter so thanks for that !- Happy camping for you and silly Peanut dog🙂🐕
