I've got one of these single burner stoves from Outbound (Canadian Tire brand) in my emergency hurricane kit. It can't be beat in a power outage that lasts days on end!

Have one of these little cook stoves, I live it for the convenience, light weight and compact size, we use it on the boat and cook steaks , burgers , or what ever right out on the water , highly recommend one of these units if you are looking for a no fuss capable cook stove at a great price ,

I got a old 2 burner tfs buddy
They are so convenient and easy to operate.
The gas dial shouldn't disengage the canister brother. That's what the little press down lever next to the dial is for. Down is engage up is disengaged, it also must have the pot stand face up or you cannot engage the canister as a safety. Great little stoves!
If I turn it all the way up on the dial to the empty circle mine disengages the canister. However, it works flawlessly and secures the canister when I pull the lever down. I really like these stoves. Thanks for watching and commenting. Be sure to subscribe to my channel. Have a good night.
The dial does disengage it cause if it’s off it shouldn’t be connected it’s a safety feature

I camp out at the Rich Mountain Lookout Tower. It is a nice place, so is downtown Hot Springs, N.C.

Butane is more efficient and a cleaner gas than propane but propane burns hotter and is better for really cold temperatures butane is good till about zero degrees centigrade

Since butane burns hotter; how does the chef cook eggs?
Example is the cook time less? Will the lowest setting still be to much heat?
I've never used butane as a fuel source.

Is butane safe to heat with?
Butane is safe as propane as long as you keep a window slightly open. I would not use it in a small space like a tent. As for as cooking times, comparing it to propane, it is pretty much the same. Put coat hanger extension on burner not hard fix cause no not good burner won't run it but mess gas flow by burner.

I like butane or propane over the gas ones because you do not get any spills or strong orders. I still like the gas ones too.
