I picked this game up about 3 weeks ago and still am getting used to it. I have decided to make my base ship in the style of the Battlestar Galactica. I'm loving the game so far.

@@leonidaszatchbell2122 - I wound up with two, 2x3 battlestars. One with farming and ballistics, the other with industrial and mostly missiles. I did wind up keeping the rounded bridge.
I've been having a lot of fun with Space Haven lately, but im not really playing the game as intended... I make a maxed warship, with a 10 man custom crew. Then, I go to war with everyone. After the build, i give my ship about 20 of each resource, and then the ship rolls out. I am making it like a destroyer going out on a cruise. Put everything on a high difficulty, then see how long you can survive... ina situation that is more realistic to how humans work.
Hahah. Another game that I've purchased a while ago and I'm playing it after every major update.

Yeah same here, missed the last couple of updates didn't put much time into them.
all my crew have 8 hours of sleep, and a 8 hour shift with 1 hour for launch, the rest is free time :)
My crew must work don't tell them they can have longer breaks lol

@@DrawingPin_ I've got north of a thousand hours in rimworld so i'm not gonna say this is better, but i did pick it up, and it's real good. Not enough there yet, but it's a great start.
I have a little over 6 thousand hours in RimWorld and just started playing Space Haven ... if Drawing_Pin is right, my life is probably over 😎
Im at three or four K on rimworld from first demo release lol
Now that I have about a thousand hours into the game I can say that claiming derelict ships is not worth it it's better just to build the six-point ship that you like that holds everything adequately and use the last two points to make like a prison ship or an attack vessel or a boarding party something like that.

It's strange that it bothers me this much, but I really dislike managment/colony sim games that start me out with a ready-made base. I know it's just temporary and not a big deal. I just really enjoy starting from zero. :)

i havent play this since alpha 816, but back then i've find it increasingly annoying that there wasnt option to auto man the attack/deff consoles, and before my peeps manage to get across the ship to consoles pirates tore down half of my ship already...looks good, unique for sure :)
Yeah played it when it first launched keep coming back after a few alpha's. Dev team is always adding new things alpha 16 is not too far out now. 👍

I just got this since it was on sale but I'm thinking of refunding it because it's turned out to be not my cup of tea. On the plus side I really like the music but I'm finding it overall obtuse
i really hate these clickbaity thumbnails. i want to see what the end game plays like and instead i see you barely starting the game.
Clearly says episode #1 😂 maybe just breathe and read the titles better rather than looking at pictures.
