Regarding the space suits, if things work the way they used to (I'm not up-to-date, at the moment) the problem is that they can only change into or out of spacesuits in an airlock or by using a suit-locker. The problem, I suspect, is that all the airlocks are in the super-hot area, and you should be able to avoid it (once you have the blocks for it) by building a locker in the crew quarters / command area. I hope this is a help, and my apologies if I'm mistaken.
Yeah think you are right if they had a locker they could of changed, once we get some resources.
36:15 If you don't have an infra-blocks why not temporary dismantle some other stuff to acquire it for thermal-regulator? :)
Could but not really got anything to dismantle that we don't need.

I think you just screwed up by not dismantling the first base. Maybe reload your past save ?

just a stupid question can you place the hyperdrives on opposite sides of the ship?
As far as I know you can put them anywhere.

When it was 44c, why is that such an issue for them? I live in that every year, don't even keep my house below 26c during the summer, sometimes even warmer than that.

@@DrawingPin_ Yeah, It was 38c out today and I was just sitting out back relaxing and felt it was a nice cool day, sometimes you forget that others live in a vastly different norm when it comes to environment.
@@ZackaryMusgrove A bit late but yeah.. i live in a part of Europe thats normally colder and wetter so to me a nice day to stroll around would be about 6c and a nice cool day would be 14c to 16c and a nice warm day is 18c to 22c and i feel like dying when its 30c lol let alone 40c or 50c.. i prefer cold weather than hot weather because humidity screws with my asthma and the cold doesn't

@@ZackaryMusgrove I hope so as well but thanks to global warming.. it has been unnaturally hot these last few summers where... 2 or 3 summers ago it was 40c and thanks to the apartment i lived in it was pretty much 45c to 50c inside due to the insulation (because homes here are built for colder weather) and no way to cool off.. and AC's are not a big thing here and could not be installed either.. and letting fans run will lose its effects and just blow hot air.. even the walls were disgustingly warm and when i sat in my underwear sweating like a pig i looked at my clothes in disgust lmao

what i sont understand is why you left all those resources behind in the mining base. you could have had all the parts to make what you needed and its not like it doing anygood there anyway. your going to be exploring and it would be a waste of time to go back to that mining base anyway...
Can only scrap the mining base for scrap.
I know this video is old but I am thinking of playing this game and I noticed that a lot of people who play this seem against the idea of striping the first base why is that???
Personally don't think it's worth it as you only get scrap for it and you have limited water etc, but it's your game you do you. 👍
