True that! "The Battle of Evermore" and "Misty Mountain Hop" are often over looked with all the great songs from Led Zeppelin, but as a long time(since 1975) fan of Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings", I always loved those two tracks.
Over five decades later.... Robert is STILL making (Biss)cute girls.... smirk, blush, eye-roll, giggle, inquire, shimmy & shake, and are left wanting more! 😆 Luv ya, BC!

Led Zeppelin ... whenever i hear one of their songs I need to listen to more of them. It is an addiction I am happy to live with. Thank you for your reaction. ~ Vals
Another delightful reaction as always. And as a musician and someone who listens very closely to music with a musician's mind, I agree with you about the studio cuts. I actually think it's best for someone to react to the studio cut for a song that they have never heard before. They get the full blast of it and it's also the way we would have heard it on the radio and on the record album growing up. And if it's something they really like, then they can do a live version to get the visual.
One of my favorite songs from this amazing band. Should definitely check out Immigrant Song, Rock n Roll, and When the Levee Breaks. Such a great reaction especially at 2:40. Can't wait to see more reactions from them!❤️🤘
@Blackie Nuff - ‘Kashmir’ is a masterpiece. It was written mainly in North Africa. Stunning stunning record, a definite must listen. The studio version. Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven are their two main big hitters i would say. Both stunning compositions. (‘Kashmir’ was heavily sampled by Puff Daddy but I do not know the song name) I do not know what ‘Black Dog’ is fully about. Winston Churchill used to call his depression that he suffered the ‘black dog’. And all Led Zeppelin members being baby-boomers may have referenced the term. I honestly don’t know. A wee bit before my time. Great reaction/ review as always. Thumbs up.

@@BisscuteReacts Holy crap, i didn't think you'd reply! I only started bingeing on your vids recently...You're sweet, beautiful and you have a sexy way of rolling your R's! As long as youre looking for rabbit holes to start digging into, I would recommend Genesis. You may have heard of their lead singer Phil Collins, who had a solo career in the 80s through early 00s, but started in this group as the drummer in the 70s. I'd start with "That's All", "In Too Deep", "No Son Of Mine" to get a sense of their top 40 hits and then work chronologically backward to their longer more experimental stuff with Peter Gabriel on lead vocals. It's all a long way of saying I'm loving your channel and I've subscribed!
Great reaction. Whoever did the lyrics messed up more than a few times but close enough lol. I can't believe I've been listening to Led Zeppelin for 40 years.
Zepplin is pretty diverse. Depending upon what album you pull from, you'll get a different vibe. My favorites are from Houses of the Holy, and Led Zepplin IV (some call it the zoso album).
Hahahaha, your reactions at both of the "ah ah ah ah ah" sections were too much! First that sly look into the camera, then the smirk @ 2:34 Then the direct gaze and the fluttering eyes and that big smile @ 4:38 You're too adorbs. 🙂
Oh yeah, one of their better songs. Led Zeppelin is one of my fav bands, and, for me, the best in Rock history. So so so cool, if they have this cool songs in 2023, how cool coul it be in the 70's? This song has more than 50 years! Immigrant song is very cool, too (and many others).
@BisscuteReacts just a mention Lemmy Kilmister the late great lead singer of Motorhead loved this song and was inspired by it somewhat. Your channel is very good with insightful comments 👌
Absolute classic Zeppelin! One of those songs that get the old blood flowing lol! One of my childhood fav bands! This might be one of my fav reactions of yours to date. you seem to just be truly enjoying whole heartedly and having so fun while doing so, as you should when it comes to Zeppelin!
This is the first song on their 4th album, and it has some really cool and complex time-signature switches happening. Other bands don't really cover it, it's really tough for the band to stay together while playing it but Zeppelin found that challenge to be fun. I was a bit surprised you didn't ask why it's called Black Dog since that's never mentioned in the lyrics, well the lyrics weren't the main focus and Robert Plant just threw them together to complete the song. There was literally a black dog outside the studio for days while they were recording the album, and they named this song after it.
First song I heard from them. I was in junior high, and a pretty young lady a couple of years older called me over to her car saying "hey you gotta hear this" I was instantly hooked. To the band and to her.
I did check it out when it was mentioned. Your video upload was 9 months ago. Your taste is seriously not bad /smiles/ Thumbs up, hoping you are well ((Bisscute))
@@BisscuteReacts The reason why I recommended the MTV version is because it is done with two orchestras (The London Metropolitan Orchestra and an Egyptian ensemble) and they put a middle-eastern vibe to it (amazing!). The audio/video quality is much better than the Knebworth version. ;)

First Zep song I heard while on vacation in the UK. It was '76, so I was late to the game, and when I asked my english mates which band it was, they looked at me in disbelief 😄.
Great reaction. I understand and appreciate you simply listening while reading the lyrics even though they may not have been completely accurate. Plus songs in those days had more than 1 meaning. Since you like Mr. Robert Plant’s voice may I recommend some of his work outside Led Zeppelin including the Honeydrippers (name taking from lyrics in this song) or his solo career. Also Page (guitarist in Led Zeppelin) & Plant as well as others. More recently he has done collaborations with women from the country genre. Not sure what music you prefer but Robert Plant has done all kinds. Enjoy as we did your energy and reaction!
I have mad respect for Led Zeppelin despite never having been a big fan. I blame every, and I mean every, high school dance that I went to in the 80s ending with "Stairway to Heaven." To this day I can't stand that song. This one, though, "Black Dog", I just love! Wonderful reaction, as always.

Great song, great reaction! Some of the best covers of Black Dog are by women. Miley Cyrus, a rock star hiding behind "Miley"; Ann Wilson of Heart, everybody knows them; Beth Hart, holy crap her performance is insane!!! How do I not know her?!

Hi Bisscute, " Waking up the army of Guitars " Blues Rock at it's finest, John Paul Jones wanted a rolling bass with riffs that tell a journey, the Idea came about after hearing muddy waters album electric mud, as for Robert vocals it's clearly about a woman who no good for him & should know better. As for that black dog that's never mentioned in the lyrics, while working on the songs out among the woods at headley grange, a black retriever would wander around the grounds, it may also have something to do with the occult which I know Jimmy page was into at his boleskine house. Fantastic reaction as usual. Most reaction channels feature people TELLING how a song hits them. Bisscute, you SHOW us how a song hits you! You commented on the fact that many Led Zeppelin songs are about girl troubles: trying to meet a girl, wanting a girl, losing a girl, being stuck in a toxic relationship with a girl, etc. etc. I feel like Robert Plant has as many different opinions about problems with girls as Forrest Gump's friend Bubba has opinions about the ways you can prepare shrimp. I know Plant wouldn't have had girl troubles if you had been around for him to meet in his prime. Then he would have realized what a wonderful girl is really like. In some ways I'm very glad you were not alive back then--Led Zeppelin's songs may have been a lot more boring if Robert Plant couldn't write songs about having trouble with girls. Now we get to see what a wonderful girl is really like on UA-cam, and you get the joy of hearing all these great Led Zeppelin songs about Robert Plant's girl troubles! Keep up the great work.
