I bought my first Led Zeppelin album over 50 years ago. I always knew there was some extraordinary about this band, something that made them stand out amongst all the others of the era. They seemed to exist on their own, without borrowing from any other band. They made me question what I was listening to at that time. Only Jimi Hendrix and Police had that effect on me.

Check out these: Immigrant Song live 1972, You Shook Me, The Ocean, When The Levee Breaks, Stairway To Heaven Live, Whole Lotta Love. Heartbreak/ Living Loving Maid ( play together ).
However, a black dog is a sign of bad fortune. This goes for Germanic and Celtic cultures. Historically, the English folklore believed that they were a bad omen, representing melancholy and death.
Hi Steph, your next Led Zeppelin reaction simply has to be Dazed and Confused live from MSG 1973. It's a 29 minute masterpiece that many consider to be the greatest live performance of all time. Jimmy Page puts on a performance that's mind blowing. Unfortunately the full version can only be found on Facebook or Dailymotion, but there is a UA-cam full HD version of the first 10 minutes of the song that is well worth reacting to. Keep up the good work, love your reactions.
If that version is available I would agree. For some reason whoever manages the Zeppelin page pulls it down a lot and people react to some shortened version.
Even when Plante would go off script add little flairs here and there to the song , the rest would still stay with it as if it was supposed to be that way. Such a right band they could pick up on each other's ques as if it was nothing.

Those talking disco are right. You should react to this whole concert. This was filmed over 3 nights at Madison Square Garden in 1973, and the footage would later be used in their movie "The Song Remains the Same" that came out in, I believe 1975. I remember seeing it in the movie theater and had the album, too. Black dog became the name after Robert showed the band the song he wrote while at Headley Grange recording Led Zeppelin IV, and he remembered a scroungy black dog that was roaming the property there.
You wanna listen to more classic rock bands and you like talented singers and guitarists? *I would suggest Queen.* Their liveshows were always mindblowing! "Somebody To Love - HD Live - 1981 Montreal" would be a good start. You already reacted to covers of Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions and We Will Rock you; these songs are all originally from Queen.
Zeppelin is definitely a favorite of mine. I had MSG tickets reserved when John died. When I heard I went home, sat down with my boo. Box and Sony headphones and listened to all their albums back to back to back. I could recommend many songs, and if you have time, I would go with my favorite, The Rain Song. I've always been partial to the studio version, and my favorite live version is from )age and Plant, No Quarter, so no John. What I really want you to react to is Stevie Ray Vaughn, Texas Flood ( Live at the El Macambo). This will get you started on possibly the greatest Rock/Blues guitarist that ever lived. He was almost beyond human when he was in the groove. The music just flowed out of him.

For the next Led Zeppelin I think a must see is Kashmir (live at Knebworth 1979) (official video). I've been enjoying all your Led Zeppelin reactions and great job on this one.
Subscribed for more Zeppelin reactions! 😁 My suggestion for a next reaction from this concert would be The Song Remains The Same/Rain Song. Two songs put together so well it’s crazy. The Rain Song is one of their best, without doubt!
The Ocean is a good tune. I was fortunate enough to see them perform about 5 songs off of every Led Zeppelin album live in concert, nice and close to the stage. Jimmy Page was a session guitarist, playing lead guitar on many other bands' albums. He uses little to no guitar effects used by guitarists today. Virtually ALL the sounds he makes with the guitar in which other guitarists try to find what effects devices he uses to get his sounds, are not devices at all. He plays mostly a clean amplifier sound without effects. He gets the sounds from advanced guitar techniques he utilizes while playing. As a session guitarist, he has to be able to play pretty much anything he's hired to play. That includes different styles and genres of music. It is evident as one listens to the songs off of their many albums. He seems to merge many different styles of music onto the rock he plays. They were from a time without autotune or the things musicians have available today. They had to actually play and perform everything without any technological aids. They had to actually have skill and talent.
Jimmy Page's guitar solo, where the band executes a metric modulation to a slower tempo, and changes to 5/4 meter. The eighth-note in the solo shifts to the value of a quarter-note triplet, and Bonham plays a series of triplets in 5/4 at the new tempo A very hard act to follow for new guitar and drum players It realy showa why the band would never work without Bonham. Master class

I have been to over 200 total concerts from 73 to date. During this time, for most of these artist it was all about the music not the money and it never gets old.

Love your enthusiastic reaction . My old neighborhood in the 70's could have used more girls like you "back in the day" 🙂They were all into that disco thing 😖 . I saw Led Zeppelin as my very 1st concert in 1977 , the last night of a 6 show run at Madison Square Garden . Not all songs are available as a live performance with a video. There is a video available of the song " In My Time of Dying" from Earls Court in 1975. they recorded the fourth album at a big house in the country, there was literally a black dog that hung around & leave at night & stagger back in the morning after a night of doing what dogs do, dog parties & stuff....um, so, yeah, so they named this song "black dog"

Named for a stray black dog that Plant took a liking to. But in literature a black dog is sometim4es the name given to depression, also a black dog is often associated with the devil.
Robert wrote the song, but when asked what it was called, he remembered a scroungy black dog hanging around Headley Grange when he wrote it as the story goes.
@@vernhoke7730yes that’s what they said, they didn’t have a name for the song, & a black Labrador hung out there. There is a video of them at Headley Grange, & it shows the dog roaming around.
Yeah keep going. You have barely scratched the surface of led Zeppelin. Also don't be embarrassed about reacting to their music? The only woman I know that would not have to change their underwear after a Zeppelin concert had to have been dead before entering. Hell half the men had to change theirs as well, and I'm pretty sure half the men there were not gay. 😆 Zeppelin has that effect on people that love their music.
You should do as you said every Zeppelin song and in order from Good Times Bad Times on. First song first album. Do studio first and we'll fill you in to live versions
You should listen to Black Dog by Dread Zeppelin. Dread Zeppelin is a reggae band that brought together the best of Led Zeppelin and Elvis Presley. An experience to live.

Actually, if it's a live version from MSG 1973, she should do "The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song" together. It's a 14-minute masterpiece and how it plays out in the movie "The Song Remains the Same."
You have opened a box to one of the best bands of all time......try Since Ive Been Loving You.......either on your own or as a reaction.....it will make you smile :)
Several of their songs are about the fun they had doing what they did and The Ocean is one. It's about the ocean of people who showed up to see them. Definitely check out the studio version too. Sometimes the original versions are better.
Jimmy Page has an effect on females. I am one and I find him intriguing. Cute, talented and amazing. But, Jimmy always seems to have this magic on women. As for parents - well, my parents did not care if I loved Led Zeppelin. They never censored my brother or I in our music and we were listening to rock since we were little kids off 6 and 8.
The title, Black Dog, although it is correct to say it was named after a dog that the band saw outside the Henley Grange studio, was not just used arbitrarily. The Black Labrador would disappear in the evening then reappear in the morning, tired and would seem to sleep all day. The implication being that the dog, like the subject of the song, was spending his nights pursuing his lust and was being similarly taken advantage of.
You need to listen to Van Morrison song into the mystic. Andy has others that are really good too. Your spoon dance by Van Morrison is very good as well
Hey, I love you re reactions. I have a suggestion, I think you should always start with the audio version. Live versions are fun, but the quality isn’t always good and they don’t always play the song at the same speed. You should hear the original first, just my opinion.
Your reaction was a joy to watch! I’d like to see your reaction to them performing ‘Kashmir’ from ‘Celebration Day’ in 2007. All much older, and no John Bonham, but an epic performance! For more great guitar work, check out Dire Straits ‘Calling Elvis’ from the ‘On the Night’ concert, and of course Pink Floyd ‘Comfortably Numb’ (it doesn’t get any better than that!)

Named for a stray black dog that Plant took a liking to. But in literature a black dog is sometim4es the name given to depression, also a black dog is often associated with the devil.
THANK YOU!!!🤘🤘
Whole lotta love e Kashmir indico que ouça a versão de estúdio. Whole lotta love tem um videoclip.
Jimmy Page el mejor de todos tiempos !!!!!
No reason to be embarrassed. They are called “reaction videos”! Yo definitely give it. Keep it going!
Love you.i 72 saw ZEP 8 times Houston TEXAS
the name of the song, "Black Dog" was a phrase people with depression use to use back in the UK
Yes, please react to The Beatles! One of their great songs is “Hard Day’s Night”! Great song from 1964!
You should do the Heart tribute to Led Zeppelin performance at the Kennedy Center Honors
THANK YOU *LIVE BBC 71
An experience to live.
jimmy page - goat
Robert plant use too wear women's blouses in the 70s n yes the ocean is from sing remains the same movie 1973
Great song and performances, they were simply the best. Do Rock and Roll next, it came after the one you just saw. Great stuff pretty lady! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
It feels so illegal 🤣 that's the best reaction ever🤘
You should play The Rain Song next. It's a classic.
Actually, if it's a live version from MSG 1973, she should do "The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song" together. It's a 14-minute masterpiece and how it plays out in the movie "The Song Remains the Same."
Great reaction thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good one... as a young woman who likes guitar solos ..... Where wee you when I was dong that stuff? - In small shows.
The Ocean Live
MSG 73'
IT REALLY ROCKS 🪨❤
You are so beautiful you look like a Barbie, your beauty it’s incredible 😮😮
You have opened a box to one of the best bands of all time......try Since Ive Been Loving You.......either on your own or as a reaction.....it will make you smile :)
The sexuality in their music just oozes and drips. It's all so like honey drops.
Yes that video of The Ocean would be great!
She did it two weeks ago, lol! Guess she forgot the title, haha
Review all Led Zeppelin songs! You won't be disappointed.
오랜만이여요..스테파니..
Saw them live in 77
노래들어요 🎉
🤘🏾😎🤘🏾
Several of their songs are about the fun they had doing what they did and The Ocean is one. It's about the ocean of people who showed up to see them. Definitely check out the studio version too. Sometimes the original versions are better.
"The Rain Song" and "Ten Years Gone"
I am Brazilian 🇧🇷. Greath music
Porque todo brasileiro tem que falar que eles são do Brasil?kkkkk ninguém perguntou e ninguém tá interessado nesse país de merda
Jimmy Page GOAT
End of discussion 🤘
this mf cant keep getting away with this lmao all these years later and he still got the girlies swooning
Looks like you could use a ciggy after Robert's performance Steph 😄
Excellent reaction good music could you react to more Guns n Roses songs please Good vibes to you 💚💛❤️
You might like Guns and Roses song Welcome to the jungle. another good one is Hot for teacher by Van Halen.
You need to hear "the raing song" is a masterpiece
You need to listen to Van Morrison song into the mystic. Andy has others that are really good too. Your spoon dance by Van Morrison is very good as well
React to "Stargazer" by Rainbow, if you love guitar solos and great singing.
한국인 구독자 입니다 또 다른 한국 보컬을 알려 드리려고 합니다 카디 라는 보컬이며 Legends naver die 이곡을 꼭 한번 들어 보시길 추천 합니다 절대 후회 하지 않을 겁니더
Need to listen to when the levee breaks!
This live is probably close to the Robert's surgery time. An other version.
Hey, I love you re reactions. I have a suggestion, I think you should always start with the audio version. Live versions are fun, but the quality isn’t always good and they don’t always play the song at the same speed. You should hear the original first, just my opinion.
Steph i like your reaction, next i hope you can react imminence - the black
The ocean yes
You need to watch Moby Dick from this concert Madison square garden 1973
2:35 looool...lets just say that there is a reason for them to be called sex gods xD listen to Dazed and confused next ;)
Definitely do The Ocean 👍
❤❤❤Robert❤❤❤
