There is nothing more humbling in my opinion than hearing a song for the first time that touches you down to your dna, her voice is pure ecstasy. God bless you 🙏🏻brother
Ann Wilson is without a doubt my personal favorite female vocalist, bar none!!! The most powerful for sure!! What a "HEART-Breaker!!!!! I love Nancy's guitar skill's being displayed,as always!! She was the back-up for Jimmy Page I believe, in case he became ill while on tour. She knew the lead Guitar licks for their whole on tour song lineup, AWESOME!!!!!
Well said. What Karen is to softer sweet music with her angelic, spot on tone, so Annie is to rock with her incredible tone, pitch, range and clarity. There are three female singers who occupy my soul's pantheon of vocal greatness, each unique but amazing: Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, and Annie Wilson. Can I pick em or what. Thank you God for the voices of these superb women.
three decades of pure magic. Their place in THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME is well deserved. Their first smash hit that I remember is the 1974 CRAZY ON YOU FOLLOWED BY Baracuda. NANCY'S SOLO AT THE BEGINNING OF CRAZY ON YOU IS PURE GOLD AND IS BEST SEEN LIVE.
@@marcieharreld286 I lost track of them in the nineties due to my job traveling. I just tuned my truck radio to the oldies stations. Changed jobs again in 2001 and had very little time to listen to music. You were lucky to take the ride with them.
Oh we know how lucky we are. You're right, 60's 70's 80's- best music ever made! My first time here, I love your reaction. I'll be back. Liked and subscribed!
Annie Wilson has one of the most powerful yet haunting voices in rock, regardless of gender. Can you imagine Annie Wilson and Paul Rogers doing a duet together?
Ann and Nancy Wilson are rock ROYALTY. The official vid is just a killer! Ann is considered one of the greatest rock female voices ever...and Nancy isn't a slouch. Nice reaction man!
LOOOVE your view of 60's, 70's & 80's... I am SO PRIVILEGED to enjoy music through those eras because... Jesus. What is offered today?!?! Good God. THANK YOU for keeping great music out there... I introduce "old" music to my grandkids every chance I can take! ❤❤❤
Loved how Nancy was all over that stage between the piano, backup singing and doing her thing with her guitar. Ann of course was pure perfection. Classic HEART, loved the 80s with them and their look but followed them in the 70s of course, that was my favorite decade.
You can't go wrong with these sisters. No auto tone , just pure talent. They did an acoustic album in the 90's and it's unbelievable. Hard to find though.
Clearly, one of the best songs ever done! I remember growing up when this video first came on MTV. I was just mesmerized by this song and I’m 53 years old now until this day this is still my jam!
Such an incredible voice. So powerful. This one is on my playlist too. Heart never disappoints. Nancy's guitar playing is so good and she is a performer deluxe. She plays piano AND guitar in this video.
I just saw Ann Wilson in June. She sang this and she still sounds just as great. It was her without Heart. I have seen her several times with Heart. They are a band to see. They put on a great live Show.
Ann has a majestic voice, and the harmonizing with her sister, Nancy is awesome. And Nancy is so talented in her own right, playing the piano And her guitar too And a singer. Totally talented personified.
Musicians back in the day were just pure talent. They gave the people a piece of themselves and you feel it deep in your soul on a cellular level. It's pure talent. Thank you for keeping our music alive
One of the best covers of all time.! Alone is originally a song by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly and their music project I-Ten. It appeared in 1983 on their only album Taking A Cold Look.
I love Heart, and while Annie is out front just killin it, I still can’t help but feel that Nancy is the star. Piano, switch to guitar, and back to piano all the while slaying us with her incredible harmony vocals. Love them both, but I’m a Nancy fan for sure. ❤️✌🏼😎
Ann Wilson is a true gem. So subtlely beautiful and such raw power. Dynamics unique and impeccable. I was young when this music was new and it was glorious.
Loved your reaction! I totally agree! I think the music here was the original recording played over newer video. I suggest the listening to their official video that accompanied the song's original release. You'll see them as they were in the 80's when this song hit #1 in the US. I haven't seen them live, but they are known to give exceptionally good live performances. Thank you for choosing this amazing song! ;-)
Great reaction, man! Love to see anything Heart reacted to. They have a HUGE rabbit hole with tonnes of great music coming out of the last 45 years. I saw them in my hometown the night they filmed the Live At Caesar's concert in 2014 and it was awesome! They still kill it. If you want to see them at their best live, check out anything from the Alive In Seattle DVD. It's all available on UA-cam. Easily their best recorded show collectively! Keep bringing the Heart my friend! Stay safe!
I love heart. Ann Wilson on vocals is such an amazing talent. When she screams out in the middle of the song wow ! I had a crush on Nancy as a teenager lol.
I had the pleasure to see them live in 86 or 87 in their glam faze, and again around 2010. They were absolutely fantastic both times. Ann is an amazing singer.
Heart was the VERY FIRST LIVE rock concert I ever saw in my pre-teens and have been a LIFETIME FAN ever since ... I saw them again LIVE IN CONCERT on their Bad Animals Album Tour in the '80s!!! PURE GOLD and TIMELESS... I APPRECIATE you and your Inner Vibe Harri and LOVE your videos... Stay Well and Blessed, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
Saw them in concert , very ,very talented. Between these two women they can play several instruments. Ann sings, plays guitar and flute. Nancy sings, plays guitar and piano. It was the Passion work concert.
Saw hearer 2010 4 rolls from stage they were amazing Ann blowin us away with her voice Nancy vocals and her great guitar playing and the rest of hearts rockin band fantastic
Ann best female rock singer ever, and has always been the beautiful one in my opinion, stunning! nice to hear someone appreciate Anne's looks for a change! Although i know actually there has always been a fair few fans of Ann who can see her beauty! Great review!
Oh Harri you have no idea all the treasures awaiting your ears with the group Heart. I was fortunate enough to have seen them in concert 3 times and the one time I was in the first row in Saratoga, New York. They never disappointed and I can't wait to see what other gems you find. It will be a hell of a ride.
I was born in the 80s & discovered the magic of this decade much later through my mom's playlist from that time. 100% agree with you. Lots of great songs from that period. Sadly, much of everything was downhill after that.
Ann & Nancy Wilson are sisters. They have a ton of music that needs to be heard! This is a great rabbit hole to go down so I’ll be back
I've always loved them inside and out! Ann has always had one of the most beautiful voices on the planet!
Ever heard the acoustic album they put out in the 90's? Hard to find but awesome!
The band members were all awesome but the heart of 'Heart' was the Wilson Sisters! :)
Anne Wilson is the Queen of Rock vocalists!
I love her as well as Whitney Houston (not a rock vocalist but a killer vocalist), Floor Jansen, and Tarja Turunen.
Now it's Lizzy Hale.
Their singing of STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN for the Kennedy Honors Program is pure MAGIC! Led Zeppelins Robert Plant was brought to tears!
Definitely worth a watch !!
Stairway done by Heart is beyond belief; Zeppelin in the Audience was Amazed. I was blown away.
I agree. The 60’s, 70’s and 80’s...the best music ever. I’m 60 years old and have had the privilege of enjoying it all.
There is nothing more humbling in my opinion than hearing a song for the first time that touches you down to your dna, her voice is pure ecstasy. God bless you 🙏🏻brother
I just love watching Nancy play her guitar! SHE CAN NOT STAND STILL!
Heart is amazing. They have many great songs....
Listen to heart
What about love
I just wanna make to you
These dreams
Heart was my first live concert in Dallas Texas 1978 😊
You should check out their 70's stuff like Barracuda, Magic Man, and Crazy On You.
Yes, everything pre 80's and with Roger Fisher. That's the best stuff imo.
70s Heart and 80s Heart are very difference, and they are both great!

Ann and Nancy had the best voices of all, of the female groups "backintheday"
And they sound just as good in concert. They are badasses!!!!
The incomparable voice of Ann Wilson. Let's not forget they started in the 70's...

Nothing beats the 80s. This song is legendary 1000% 😎

Ann's sister Nancy can sing too. Their first number one hit was "These Dreams" with Nancy on lead vocals.
I just heard that and never knew!!! She has a beautiful voice to
@@Sherri_Jordan I think Nancy can even sing higher than Ann, and that's saying something. She always takes the higher harmony!
I actually saw them in the 70s and 80s. Their live performances sound just as good as their studio versions.

Thank you, couldn’t agree more. What’s so impressive to me is that this is live. Incredible.
"Alone" is the definition of a power ballad. Listen to "Dreamboat Annie" for another side of Heart.
Ann Wilson STILL sounds amazing!! They were my first concert when I was about 3rd grade in 1982-83 watch magic man or crazy on you.

"What about Love?" is another terrific number by Heart. Grooving to great music with Harribest is damn good therapy! Oh, YEAH!
This was their 2nd & final #1 hit single. If you'd like to hear the other one it was called These Dreams, but they had a lot of really fine songs.
