At this same appearance they sang “these dreams” it’s awesome cuz u get a glimpse of Nancy Wilson singing with Ann on backup vocals!!! U guys will love it!!
Ann Wilson is the greatest rock vocalist of all time in my book. Her range is second to none. Nancy's guitar is like a total major part of every performance. Saw them live in 1976 was in awe and still am.
You lost that bet. Heard her recently and her voice wasn't really good. Maybe the long layoff from performing with her sister took a toll. She also didn't look very healthy.
Nancy is simply underrated. She sets the table immaculately for Ann to blow it out of the park. Sisters in synch. Nancy is not flashy, for the most part, but really is totally in the vibe, like only a close sister could be. Ann couldn't be Ann without Nancy.
To me Ann is among the best voices ever in rock. Not just women voices, I mean all voices. Along with Steve Perry, Freddy Mercury, Pat Benatar etc... Nancy is not far off herself. I also along with everybody recommend These Dreams from the same show. Awesome reaction and again...congrats on 100,000 sibscribers!!! 🍻🤟
You would probably love the live performance of "Crazy on You", from 1976 I think (somewhere around there) you get to see Nancy shred the acoustic and the band tear up the stage with one of their biggest early hits. You might add this to your list, especially your list of live reactions. The good news is that Ann and Nancy are planning a series of reunion shows for later this year, around New Year's Eve I think. It will be the first time they've played together since around 2019 (maybe it was 2017, but I think it was 2019). Ann is out on the road now with her band Tripsitter and Nancy is doing some solo work some shows as "Nancy' Wilson's Heart" and also some part time touring with Styx (lots of live vids of her shows with Styx on UA-cam if you're curious), but they've put together something to do together late this year to celebrate their 50th Anniversary... should be awesome!
The finest female rock voice I’ve heard, and one of the 10 best rock vocalists full stop. I bought my first album at 7, and that’s nearly 50 yrs ago. I’ve heard them all, and she can stand with the very best - Plant, Freddie, Dio, anyone
Phil and Sam, Thank you so much for choosing Heart - Live. It really is the only way to watch Ann and Nancy! Others from this concert: These Dreams (Nancy on lead) Straight On Crazy on You
Y’all, Ann Wilson from heart, is to this day the most powerful and impactful artist I’ve ever heard. She has shown tremendous talent and I have yet to see a vocalist past or present rival her. Period. 🤷🏼♀️ I mean I can’t even think of an argument against this.
Thanks for a great reaction guys. This is for me hands down the best version of this track. Anne is front and center where she should be, not stuck away in the shadows or far away on a balcony (music video version). I've watched this so many times now but it never ceases to give me chills when Anne belts out her wail. As others have said, These Dreams from the same concert is also brilliant, bringing Nancy's vocals into the spotlight.
We were so fortunate to see Heart live a few years back. Ann's voice is and was so powerful and clear. My husband and I will never forget how captivating their show was. If you get the chance, go see them.
Another Amazing Classic Rock Band. Lucky enough to have seen them Live with Ian Hunter/Mick Ronson opening for Heart. Heart did a bunch of Led Zeppelin songs and the old Spectrum in Philly went Absolutely Insane. Heart absolutely nailed the Led Zep Songs
I bought “Little Queen“ because I loved the chart breaker "Barracuda". First I was a little bit disappointed because there was no similar song an that album, but the longer listened, the more I dive into their music. I became a true heart fan ! The first live performance I've listened was on their album "Magazine". It seemed to be recorded in a smaller club and showed a "bluesy side" of heart with a great version of "I've got the music in me". It's astonishing how many facettes they have. Hard rocking, folky, bluesy, soft... I love their variety and possibilties. And there were always really good band members behind them. I love ❤️ !
There are no words that can begin to do justice for this performance. Absolutely amazing and a thrill to watch. Her vocals are incredible. Love it love it love it.
GREAT reaction!! I saw Heart in 2013 (wife surprised me with tickets for our 10th anniversary! I got her into the band, so it was a wonderful surprise) The sister's sounded absolutely incredible (and it would've been 10 years after this performance). They did Alone in a acoustic version too - still sends shivers down my spine (and to be honest, a little tear in my eye). Ann & Nancy are rock GODDESSES!! That same show, the opener was Jason Bonham Experience - so it was a night full of Led Zeppelin AND Heart! Heart closed their show with 6 Zep covers - and let me tell you, Ann was hitting notes that Robert Plant couldn't dream of hitting now! Immigrant Song especially - that primal wail at the beginning - Ann was SPOT ON with those! Cheers.
I have no idea what you're talking about with her vocals not being a top tier performance on the Led Zepplin tribute. Ann's voice is probably the best maintained voice in rock. She's not that much younger than Robert Plant and He can't even hit notes like that anymore. They brought Robert Plant to tears with their performance. The whole thing was so well done. Go back and listen to when Ann sing's the line "to be a rock and not a roll" the level of control in her voice is astounding form how she holds the note, then adds texture to it, by adding some subtle distortion, then wavering it on down. There are very few vocalists who have been belting out Rock songs as long as she has and have maintained their vocal register to the level that she has. I always liked their music but was never a huge fan until I acquired some tickets to see them in concert. I took my daughter to the show. I am almost 60 years old and have seen some amazing bands in my time but I can say in all honesty I have never seen any rock vocalist out perform her live. I have to give her props., she is an absolute icon.
😊❤ FUN fact! I had no clue!! 😅 I do know that Heart is from Seattle; so any time they perform in WA state they seem to leave something extra on the stage!! 🤩 I saw Ann Wilson sing the national anthem and I was standing about 15 ft from her!! There is a horse racing track in the Seattle suburbs. It changed ownership, closed for a while and they changed the name. When they reopened it was a big deal. I went and was standing on the rail of the winners circle and Ann was standing in the middle of the winners circle singing!! 😮😅 I also saw Heart in concert once! They are amazing!! And I don't think Nacy gets enough credit! (Not you Sam and Phil) Nancy can shred a guitar!! And she also has a beautiful singing voice!! Loved your reactions!! Luv ya guys! 😊❤❤
I saw Heart ❤️ in 2019 at the Hollywood Bowl in LA. They sound just as good as when I saw in them the 70s when I was in high school. They're so good. One of my favorite bands.
I still remember the first time I ever saw them in concert. It was in the mid 70's they were touring having just recently released their first album, Dreamboat Annie, and they were the opening band for the Canadian group April Wine. As much as I Was a fan of April Wine, Heart was so good that I became a life long fan of Heart!
you have to remember these guys are over 70 yld now. They aren't gonna be jumping around the stage. Also Nancy needs to preserve her voice after decades of wear. Still amazing!
Being from Seattle and knowing that theater very well…..all I can say is…DANG I wished I’d been there! They adopted Seattle, and Seattle embraced them.
Saw them in October 1976 at Ohio State with my brother. Front row center stage. $8.00 each They blew down the building. Incredible. Ann Wilson is in my 5 of female singers. Mm
How many times do you imagine they've performed this song? And she (they) STILL put everything they have into it. Consummate performers. I've heard a lot of people sing this song, but only Ann truly OWNS it.
This concert is a great watch! Another one from this concert that's pretty awesome is Elton John's "Mona LIsa's and Mad Hatters" done by Nancy. So good!! In the concert they do that plus a few Led Zeppelin songs. All are very well done as you'd expect from Heart...
I've been suggesting to many of ya'all doing these reactions get on to some of this stuff. Dog and Butterfly, the Archer and this tune. So diverse, so good. These songs are short enough to where I think Kick It Out or Barracuda paired with a song like Alone would be cool.
This clip was from Heart's 2002 reunion tour (Ann & Nancy Wilson were the only members w/ various studio musicians) The sisters had worked together, but not as Heart, for 7 years... Heart disbanded in 1995 after their acoustic record 'The road home'... 90's grunge had decimated their career, so Ann & Nancy wanted to take a break... They did record an acoustic album as The Lovemongers ('Whirlygig' in 1997) and a Christmas album in 1998 ('This is Christmas'... re-released as "Heart presents a Lovemongers Christmas" in 2001) Following a successful reunion tour in 2002, Heart released this live album 'Alive in Seattle' in 2003... then, a studio album ("Jupiter's darling") in 2004.
Ann is the GOAT!!!! you should really do their cover of Battle of Evermore from the same concert it's unbelievable
Рік тому+9
This is a great version as it shows Ann's power in her voice. Floor Jansen (Nightwish) did a stripped-down cover of this at home during the pandemic - Please check that out as well: ua-cam.com/video/1fu-yP6q6Gk/v-deo.html
Everything from this show is on this level. This is part of a small portion of the show that's stripped down, but the majority of the concert is a full band. The version of Zeppelin's Battle Of Evermore will give you goosebumps as well. Definitely recommend you react to anything (and everything) from this DVD.
Great reaction and insight from you both. I love seeing fellow Canadians being successful on you tube. You guys are awesome ❤ Talk about a dynamic duo, the Wilson sisters are in a class all of their own. The Queens of rock n Roll ❤
The 2 Wilson Sisters Ann and Nancy had another band The Lovemongers . They covered another Led Zeppelin song - "Battle Of Evermore" ua-cam.com/video/HnhOv2PC68w/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared . It was featured in movie "Singles". It features both sisters playing mandolins . Ann played the Wakken Open Air Festival last year with her new band.
Imagine how well she could sing if she wore shoes! The brother of original member Roger Fisher fled to Canada to avoid serving in Vietnam. Ann went with Roger when he visited and became an item with the brother, Mike. And that's how the sisters from Seattle became part of a band based in Canada.
Heart is doing a New Years Eve concert in Seattle this year. If I still lived there, I would have pounced on tickets for that. I sure hope they tour after that!
Re: their versatility, check out Dog and Butterfly. So different yet it really captures a moment in childhood where you learn to pick yourself up and try again.
I heard Heart the first time in '73/'74 (don't remember exactly) in what was called back then, North City, the northernmost suburb of Seattle at a small venue called the Aquarius Tavern. The friend who invited me said that they were getting quite a local following and they played a lot of Led Zeppelin covers as well as their own music. The concert was as good as you can imagine and I wondered if they would soon start playing bigger venues!
Me & my buddies paid 8$ back in the early 80's spur of the moment for a seat behind the stage at the Forum in LA. After the warm up band cleared out, HOLY CRAP great show, maybe best 8 bucks i ever spent
The best album to me is The Road Home, a live album released in 1995. It chronicles a club performance in the "unplugged" style in their home city of Seattle. The setlist contains acoustic versions of many of the band's hits.
At this same appearance they sang “these dreams” it’s awesome cuz u get a glimpse of Nancy Wilson singing with Ann on backup vocals!!! U guys will love it!!
Once Nancy sings "White skin in linen. Perfume on my wrist" I'm hers. Resistance is futile. 🥰
My favorite version of "These Dreams."
Absolutely!!
These dreams was the first #1 they had and Alone was the Second #1
Ummm I think they just did 🤦♂️
Ann Wilson is the greatest rock vocalist of all time in my book. Her range is second to none. Nancy's guitar is like a total major part of every performance. Saw them live in 1976 was in awe and still am.
I'll put up Freddie Mercury against your greatest claim
I'll put up Freddie Mercury against your greatest claim
I am 100% convinced that Ann´s voice will sound like that when she is 100 years old. She does not age. It is incredible.
Unfortunately the last time I heard her the voice is not as good
Agreed. just heard something from her recently and sadly, it was not good.@@mem1701movies
You lost that bet. Heard her recently and her voice wasn't really good. Maybe the long layoff from performing with her sister took a toll. She also didn't look very healthy.
Well, she can’t hit the higher notes anymore
Best female rock vocalist ever!! Period!!
absolutely...and it's not even close.
i like Grace Slick as well. She was just before Heart. That voice was also insane.
one of the best rock singers ever male or female.
Nancy is simply underrated. She sets the table immaculately for Ann to blow it out of the park. Sisters in synch. Nancy is not flashy, for the most part, but really is totally in the vibe, like only a close sister could be. Ann couldn't be Ann without Nancy.

Exactly, it's such a disservice to just say she's good as a woman. She's one of the best rock voices ever.
Agreed! And thank you! 🎉
I believe this was done in 2002. That would make Ann 50, and he voice still sounds as incredible as it did when she was in her 20's. Awesome talent.
I didn’t know their original name
You need to do These Dreams from same show, that showcases Nancy's voice with Ann doing backing vocals
As good as the sisters and the other band members are overall, when the ladies harmonize is pure magic.
You would probably love the live performance of "Crazy on You", from 1976 I think (somewhere around there) you get to see Nancy shred the acoustic and the band tear up the stage with one of their biggest early hits. The best female rock, and roll singer EVER!!!
There will never be anyone as talented as these two sisters.... Ann Wilson could sing the telephone book and give me chills
best female rock band of all time, seeing them this year live in concert
Phil and Sam, Thank you so much for choosing Heart - Live. It really is the only way to watch Ann and Nancy! Others from this concert:
These Dreams (Nancy on lead)
Straight On
Crazy on You
Nancy's guitar playing is so good. The harmonies too.

They put on the best live performances that I've ever been to!
Dang were you there? IMO that is the best live ever from Heart
@@AdrianaDiGeronimo, not at that particular one.
Man, the number of times I got chills listening to this. What vocals.
The Seattle acoustic show is my favorite all time version of Heart. The entire album is incredible.
My favorite version. The vocals are amazing. The acoustic and slower tempo fit the lyrics better, imo.
Thanks for a great reaction guys. This is for me hands down the best version of this track. As has been written, These Dreams live in Seattle is a must🙏
I really believe that Ann Wilson's voice ages like fine wine. The Wilson sisters are icons, and deservedly so!
Two of the Best Female Vocalists Ever & in One Band~CRAZY AWESOME !!!
Nancy Wilson is a phenomenal acoustical guitar player and singer.

During this concert they did an amazing cover of Led Zeppelins Battle of Evermore.
There are no words that can begin to do justice for this performance. Absolutely amazing and a thrill to watch. Her vocals are incredible. Love it love it love it.
I have loved the Sisters since the first Heart album! Back in those day's so much great music the late 60's the 70's and 80's
GREAT reaction!! I saw Heart in 2013 (wife surprised me with tickets for our 10th anniversary! Love your channel.
In my personal opinion, this version is better that the studio version.
Ann is 74 years old! Kicking out still!
I saw Heart ❤️ in 2019 at the Hollywood Bowl in LA. They sound just as good as when I saw in them the 70s when I was in high school. They're so good. One of my favorite bands.
This whole concert is awesome. Heart: Live in Seattle 2002. All their greatest and covers from Led Zepplin to Elton John. Great stuff...
Every time I hear this I get chills....every single time.
They are something so special. Thanks for the great video, and the great reaction!
FIRE!!!!!
Anne Wilson is the greatest female rock singer of all time. Period.
She is the greatest rock singer of all time. Not just on the female side.
These two are just amazing together. Ann is obviously an incredible singer but Nancy can also hold her own too and she is brilliant on guitar.

They blew down the building. Incredible. Ann Wilson is in my 5 of female singers. Mm
Early "Heart", Dog and Butterflies album shows Ann Wilson at her finest in my opinion.
Love Nancys high harmonies
Both of them legendary and their music will live forever!
Great performance! I need to get concert tickets to see them while they are still playing.
I saw the Wlson sisters in Oregon at a winery. Preformed as The Love Mongers. They did Acoustic set it was great .
Today Anne is 73 years old and still sounding like this video....absolutely incredible!
Greatest female rock band of all time , I was lucky to see them in concert in the 70s and they still are killing it
How many times do you imagine they've performed this song? And she (they) STILL put everything they have into it. Consummate performers. I've heard a lot of people sing this song, but only Ann truly OWNS it.
Love Heart! I was lucky enough to see them!
🔥🔥🔥These Dreams same show ❤
One of my favorite live shows by anybody -- Ann & Nancy are amazing throughout 👍
This concert is a great watch! Another one from this concert that's pretty awesome is Elton John's "Mona LIsa's and Mad Hatters" done by Nancy. So good!! In the concert they do that plus a few Led Zeppelin songs. All are very well done as you'd expect from Heart...

This is a better version of this song than the studio version. It's so much less over the top. That's a good thing.
Beautiful song
Beautiful vocals
Beautiful women

Great reaction and insight from you both. I love seeing fellow Canadians being successful on you tube. You guys are awesome ❤ Talk about a dynamic duo, the Wilson sisters are in a class all of their own. The Queens of rock n Roll ❤
Thx Ross!
If you like this style, you would like "Dog and Butterfly" and "Dreamboat Annie".
Can you react to Heart-Crazy On You live also in seattle. You will be blown away

I suggest listening to "Love Alive"
QUE MARAVILHA VOLTAR OUVIR ESTA BALADA..RELEMBREI A MINHA JUVENTUDE....OBRIGADO
Me & my buddies paid 8$ back in the early 80's spur of the moment for a seat behind the stage at the Forum in LA. After the warm up band cleared out, HOLY CRAP great show, maybe best 8 bucks i ever spent
Ann is at the top of the pile, no doubt. The crazy thing is that she gets better the older she gets.
You should listen to their live version of "Crazy On You" from 1978.
No computer music, auto tune or drum machines. Just talent. Kind of an old fashioned concept.
This performance from Ann and Nancy should be sent into space ! As even aliens would hear this and say DAMN !
Might ' T ' Fine !
Fantastic song and they are great with this style like Barricuda!
Bro, Ann went fucking off in this one. damn!!! The notes she was hitting wow
They are going out on tour in 2024 ! If they come to Saint Louis I am there !
The best album to me is The Road Home, a live album released in 1995. It chronicles a club performance in the "unplugged" style in their home city of Seattle. The setlist contains acoustic versions of many of the band's hits.
I enjoy their slowed down live version more that the original.
That why there band is heart because they sing from the heart
And Ann Wilson is still touring!
