Useful for a few projects that you may need to remove the Upper intake Manifold. With this video, no need to figure out what screws, bolts and wires that you will need to remove. It eliminates any guessing on the procedure.

I've had to do this on my 03 probably 10-15 times, and Have gotten pretty used to doing it so I wanted a mild refresher, because my cars currently lifted off the ground about 2 foot over stock height, and I can't just peer and see what has to come off. You made a very quick and helpful straight to the point video. Which is nice for someone who just wants to know how to do it, and not 10 minutes of jargon lol, Only thing I'd change is I'd mention the tightening process and the fact the upper intake manifold gaskets will probably need to be replaced, and maybe the torque specs/don't overtighten those bolts because the molded into plastic thread inserts can and will strip out. But besides for that perfect video, exactly what I needed.

@@How2Helen Yeah no problem, watched a couple of your other videos and I like your sense of humor, so that was more than enough for me too subscribe. Plus the other videos I watched are also very straightforward which is a big plus when a lot of others are making 20-30 minute videos and are going a bit too into detail.
@@XxcfirecraftxX lol. Thank you for recognizing my weird humor 🤣. I try to entertain while helping others. It is just sometimes hard to translate on video.
As for other videos,I believe they are just doing that to meet the YT length requirements (minimum 10min vids)which really messes up the topic/subject. So my strategy for that is do the objective first, on point, then add bloopers at the end if needed. Its not perfect, but it doesn’t waste other people’s time. If its not enough, then oh well, maybe next time.

What is that tube your finger touches before you remove the 2 bolts

How do you take off the DOHC 16 V cap off it

Is there no intake manifold bracket? I noticed mine wiggles a lot and thinking that my bracket was missing.
Which area is wiggling? The part going to the back of the engine has a bolt holding it in place. The front area, the lower intake manifold I believe is bolted on the intake runner. Maybe you are missing those bolts. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching-Rjeff H2H

Its a return vacuum hose. Cheapest place to buy them is at aliexpress. My apologies though, i do not have the exact specs (inner diameter[id] and outer diameter[od]). But I do hope the link below helps. Thank you for watching! - Rjeff H2H
